.I am thinking Okocha had to talk to him to up his game.
What kind of thought process is this. So you mean it was just now at the age of 29 that Okocha finally had the bright idea to talk to to him?

It's obvious he simply has matured as a player. Secondly the tactics are more favourable with three strong attackers in front of him and two strong physical midfielders behind him.

Absolutely.
Can I call him a late bloomer or is it too early to sing praises.
He has always been a good player which is evidenced by the fact that he has been a regular in the Premier League for 10 years or so now.

However it's quite common for creative midfielders to peak a little later than other positions. Maturity and experience helps a lot.

This is being clever by half because this same man will turn around and demand government provides infrastructure and other societal needs.

The issue is not tax, it's judicious use of tax revenue. And Peter Obi surely knows better than this populist narrative.

Largely depends on whether the person involved is a real government official capable of influencing a real job opportunity. If yes, an offence is committed by the victim but in practice it is highly unlikely he would be charged.

But if the fraudster was just an ordinary individual claiming to be an intermediary, there is no offense committed by the victim. It's a simple case of fraud.

Even in the event of A, in practice the offence by the victim will be overlooked or he could plea bargain and get a slap on the wrist while the fraudster will get a much more serious punishment.

How can one wish their own country be defeated?
Well I have come to realize that most of those who reason like this don't really think of Nigeria as their country.

You will need to make a complaint to the police over obtaining by false pretences. They will invite him and ask him to write an undertaking to pay you back. If he refuses, they will charge him him and take him to court.

You can also simply sue him at the small claims court. You may need a lawyer for this.

That is the problem with politically motivated gesture. Federal Government should have stipulate what the Fund should be used for.

Now F.Govt has a reason for not releasing the other 20b.

The thing here is, as much as I don't like Tinubu, why did Makinde collect tens of billions from the Tinubu government and still kept quiet about it. He was trying to pass off the money that Tinubu gave him as something from the coffers of the state while at the same time, giving the people of Oyo state the impression that the president abandoned them.

If Fayose hasn't spoken out, who would have known that Tinubu made money available to Oyo state? Money the governor seems to have cornered. Makinde needs to hide his head in shame.
This Tinubu is just one kind strategic thinker. Can you imagine that even after Makinde distributed only 4.5 out of 30 while claiming credit for the gesture, Tinubu never said anything to call him to order knowing that a time will come when it could be used to finish Makinde.

Is that the issue or the process and time is the issue? No one has said it can't be done but there is a process for a fundamental Constitutional change of this nature that can easily be frustrated at the State level. This is because 2/3 of all State Assemblies will have to assent to the amendment.

So is that something you think can be achieved overnight, without broad consultation?

key violations include not facing the field, having feet off the ground or over the line, or throwing with only one hand/from the front instead of both hands from behind the head.
I don't expect the average football fan to know that's not a foul throw. It's the commentator that's baffling me with his claim that the ball cannot be thrown directly into the ground from a thrown in. Which part of the rules say so, I wonder.

The OP clearly made a simple mistake in the before and after but that’s easy for every sensible person to see and understand.
You don't seem to get it. People digging up these tweets are trying to prove that the attack was done bypassing Nigerian authorities.

That is why the first post is mislabelled as "before" when it clearly came second, because that is the order that would make sense for that particular narrative.

So it is right to point out that it is wrong.

The Nigerian government have not come out to say anything about the strike. This should tell us that they weren't informed and the US government is making it look like they were informed so it doesn't look like an invasion.

If it was Peter Obi that spoke the same time the American government conducted the strike, Bayo Onanuga and his shameless fellow APC spokesperson would have responded with a speed of light, but hours after the airstrike by America none of them have spoken...they have suddenly become dummb.

Shame on the Nigerian government and the compromised military architecture, a deadly strike you cannot conduct for over 15 years was done in just one night.

Now that the strike has started, expect more to come... except the Nigerian government start prosecuting and eliminating known terrorists sponsors and sympathyzers in government and outside government to save face.

Is Pete Hegseth now the spokesperson for the Nigerian government? You people just enjoy deceiving yourselves.

You want the American government to inform the terrorists filled Nigerian government before they strike so terrorists in government will leak the information to their brothers in the forests. Make una dey play, the botched Chibok girls rescue mission already tought the American government a lesson on how not to trust the Nigerian government with Intel.

I am current enough to know the strike was conducted on December 25, 2025 but the Nigerian government is issuing a statement the following day, didn't you check the date on the statement you uploaded? Have they ever taken this long to respond to statements by Peter Obi?
Talking obvious gibberish. The strike occurred in the early morning of the 26th, which is today. It is being reported as the 25th by the American press, because it is still the 25th over there.

Maybe you've not understood me. There is of course widely publicized cooperation, which is really just a scheme for Nigeria to save face.

In reality, I can guarantee that Nigeria is not carried along when it comes to tactical operations because the risk of leakage is known to be very high.

That is to say, the partners may agree that they are working together but when it comes to strikes, Nigeria will not be informed before hand of the specific location, time or manner of attack. This I am sure of.

Long overdue.

He has the right to self-defense and has no business staying locked up for more than few days after investigations.

The judge that passed that initial sentence should be ashamed of his self.
Was it a single judge? It was a case that went through the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court. Only one justice, a justice of the Supreme Court, disagreed with the judgment but even then she was outnumbered 4 - 1.

How not? In the first place how does it happen that a person in his position does not have a copy of what was passed. If the president needed advice on it before signing is he not the one who should have digested every clause of what was passed already? How does it make sense that a clause not passed yet by the relevant committee is out in the public? Then how does he say that he does not know what's up, if the president has signed it, that should be a public document already, not so? And how can he say he doesn't know what's different between that and what was passed when he of all people should have a copy of that.

Then look at these horribly contradictory and bizzarre statements -

1. "we have what has not been gazette. We don’t have what was passed,"

What on Earth does this gibberish mean?

2.
“It should be the House of Representatives or Senate version. It should be the harmonised version certified by the clerk. Even me, I cannot say that I have it. I only have what was presented to Mr President to sign.”

What is this? Should there be a difference between the version certified by the clerk and the version signed by the president?
I see what you're saying but it doesn't seems that deep to me.

He's simply saying that if we want to compare, we should compare with the version the president signed, which is what should be gazetted.

However, according to him, what is in the public domain is a version that emanated from the committee before the president signed.

He says even he doesn't have the version the president signed just to emphasize that what is in the public domain is not fit for comparison.

However he is not saying he has no knowledge of what is inside it. He clearly says that in that version that was sent to the president, one of the offending clauses that has been identified as being an addendum, is not present.

Poorly worded statement but not entirely unreasonable.
