This is just subtle emotional blackmail from Sahara reporters who have been doing somersaults in trying to justify their initial erroneous publication.

Obi's hasty congratulations undermined their report and you know they both appeal to the same mass of poorly educated conspiracy theory loving simpletons.

Well, to be honest you are right.

There's no threat to life from that tweet.

Wishing death upon someone or people isn't a direct threat to life.

The only people that such a tweet directed to that can be taken as an intent to harm or kill are the Presidents of the United States or that of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as far as I know.
That's not a wish. That's a promise. It is a direct threat to life.

Very funny people in this country. In the first place if we already have CNG conversion centres doesn't that suggest that the technocrats and professionals already know what they are doing?

Always distracting yourselves with funny issues.

I have some time and in a good mood so let me drop this. You are not 30 yet, why the rush? You have a business that is paying well now but you are not sure about tomorrow thanks to our useless government. This is your opportunity to do some things before bigger responsibilities like children school fees start coming your way and stop you from doing them. Before going into marriage, make sure you're a man first and the first step to becoming a man is to have a place of your own whether in the village or in the city where you hustle. If you don't have the means, I can understand. If you have the means which I suspect you do, build a house and get yourself a means of transport before getting married. Not when your wife is in labour now, you'll be running around to buy recharge card to call Okey the keke driver. Women always push unprepared men into marriage and when the responsibilities that come with it are not met, they blame the same men. Your mother may also sense that you're not ready and is deliberately trying to slow you down. Sit down and draw a list of things that are needed to be done first before marriage. If your girlfriend can't wait until they are done, she is not for you. You're welcome for the 'thank you'. Now let me go ahead and make my dick available to this girl, she has been waiting.
I'm so disappointed in you for advising that Moro.n. Why bro?

This is not a new thing in this era. For this purpose, some men go as far as severing their sperm supply ducts. Haven’t heard of women getting rid of their tubes or ovaries / uterus for same reason though.

To me it feels so selfish to only care about oneself and not raise little beauties - would you have existed without some people making the sacrifices to make and bring you up?

This is definitely distorting God’s design / order and it goes with consequences be it not instant.

anyway, whatever rocks your world!
Have the unborn children expressed any desire to be born? Imagine demanding that people should give birth to others just because they exist... That is your argument. Is human experience necessarily happy? Will you be there to be sure that the unwilling parents love and cherish any kids they bring into the world?

Accidental bombing again? Who are those incompetent air strikers manning those fighter jets? Na wah o
The state commissioner for internal security, Dr. Nasiru Mu'azu, confirmed that there was bombing the area but said it was not accidental.

According to him, it was a precision strike targeted at terrorists and not civilians.

"Whoever told you that the attack was accidental lied. The bomb was dropped on purpose, terrorists were the target.

"Make no mistake about this, the Nigerian military is highly professional in its operations; they strike after surveillance and then getting the coordinate of their target before striking.”

"You see, Shawu has become notorious for harbouring bandits and other forms of terrorists, that's why the area was targeted," Mu'azu added.

In the same vein, the Faskari Local Government Council chairman, Musa Ado Faskari said, "The airstrike was precise because bandits have infiltrated the community."

When asked about the fate of innocent citizens living in the Shawu, he said, "It's unfortunate that it has happened, but the truth is that there's just no alternative to this. After all, majority of good people have left Shawu because of the heavy presence of bandits.”

"Let me tell you, all around, when kidnapping for ransom is carried out, you'll always get to hear that the plan was hatched in Shawu," Ado said

Politics › Re: Accept Part Of Responsibility For Nigeria’s Situation – Akande Tells Obasanjo by SmartyPants(m): 1:56pm On Nov 20, 2024
Kukutente23:
Ok... So if i get your logic, even as OBJ has denied sending money and the man reputed to have shared the cash never mentioned his name, we must still hang the corruption on his neck cause we want him to fit into the box of the pioneer of corruption in Nigeria. Sound logic.
Ota farm already existed before OBJ became President in 1999 sir. There are those who alleged he got the farm through OFN of the 70s but I want to believe you will not say that is your evidence of him being pioneer of corruption in 1999. I can name three other former HoS who have farms.
What is the business of OBJ with Halliburton scandal? I think you need to get yourself updated on what it was about
That's been proven to be a lie over and over again. OBJ never spent any $16bn on power. But besides that, are you aware that over 90% of the gas fired plants we have in Nigeria today were built during OBJ's time in office? He still left over 800 turbines at Apapa that needed clearing by successive govts
Ok. The systems he created, how far with them today? Has EFCC being strenghtened? ICPC nko? What about BPP and DMO? Are they all better than they were when he created them in his tenure?
I really don't have time to prove any point to you. If you belive that a bag of money turned up at the national assembly with no owner then fine. You are welcome to your sound logic.

Same for the rest of it.

Kukutente23:
He only mentioned two. The Presidential Library and bribing of lawmakers for second term. Can you explain how those two are the foundation for corruption in Nigeria. From what I know, OBJ has come out serially to deny sending cash to lawmakers for second term and no one has come out to say he sent them. DSP Mantu who is now late who was fingered as the man who brought the cash to NASS never sent OBJ sent him the job till he died.
As for the Presidential Library, I agree since two or three businessmen (not govs) have come out to say OBJ armtwisted them into donating for his Presidential Library. That is a corrupt thing to do. I totally accept. But explain to me how that is the foundation for corruption in Nigeria. Like Nigeria was a corruption free country before OBJ armtwisted the businessmen?
This is laughable. Where you expecting him to admit to his corruption?

Can you explain how Obasanjo went from a soldier of modest income, to prison, and then to his massive Ota farm?

Can you explain the Haliburton scandal?

Can you explain to us how 16billi9n usd disappeared in the name of power sector reforms?

You know all these, perhaps you want to just test and see if others are aware. Not so?

Having said that, it is pertinent to note that the issue is not about the scale of his corruption, rather is is about what he did or did not do as the pioneering president of the modern Nigeria.

He could have created systems that would have been perfected in his 8 years and these systems would have been hard to corrupt if properly established. Instead he enriched himself, sought a third term to show his disregard for democratic principles, and virtually wrote the handbook on how to rig elections in Nigeria.

Child, in 1999 I voted Olu Falae of AD/AP because he was a major part of NADECO. 8 yrs later I was grateful to God that OBJ won because hindsight wisdom is always the best! Ur apparent frustration & lack of decorum is indicative of the fact that u think politics is like fanning a football club, so ure quick to abuse like it’s Chelsea vs Man U fans. The results of ur foolish decisions are never ur fault but always someone else’s so u don’t ever get to learn. If u like start blaming from the colonialists, the fact remains that Argentina & Nigeria swore in their presidents at the same timeframe. But their report cards are not the same, because people like u would rather blame God sef than admit the role their ignorance has played in the current destruction of their country’s economy.
Elder, but what is the meaning of all this now? You behave like someone that lacks comprehension that is why I asked - is that what is offending you? Grow up! Apparrently, if you were old enough to vote in the 90s, you must be old enough to call a spade a spade, making your displays here very confusing.

The question is, was Obasanjo part of the corrupt ones or not?? In your desperation to avoid being truthful, there is probably no bush on this planet you haven't beat about. Elder, why? Who are you fooling? Obviously not me... yourself then? Again...why??

I actually admire Obasanjo, and boldly procclaim him the best president Nigeria has ever had. So you see all that gibberish about football clubs is not something you got from anythign I wrote up there. You are only projecting your own infantile thoughts!

Nigeria did not start in 1999 and corruption is the excuse every military coup plotter in dis country has used. So clearly, corruption has been in Nigeria since before u were born. Now even if OBJ was corrupt, does it mean the present and the previous also must follow suit 14 yrs later? With OBJ’s "corruption" companies were pouring in with better job offers for Nigerian youths and our GDP soared. But with those u want to absolve of guilt, even the old companies have all fled & the economy has tanked. Now who’s dodging the truth between the both of us?? cool
And who said that?? Which of my statements points to absolving anyone of guilt? Which of my statements, or even those of Akande says Obasanjo was not arguably a good president?

Nigeria did not start in 1999 - nor did Obasanjo's presidential experience. He was there from the very beginning. A point Akande makes, that you're still falling over yourself trying not to see.

Do you lack comprehension or you are just doing this deliberately?

Dont be silly. Akande never said Obasanjo didn't do any good or even that he was a bad president. He said, simply, and correctly, that Obasanjo helped to entrenched the culture of corruption that is so pervasive today.

So sad to see the Super Eagles play like this. Some really unintelligent players out there. Boniface and Chukwueze are the biggest ones. Bad decision after bad decision. Can you imagine the nerve of people to compare Boniface with Osimhen??

Can anyone remember a time Chukwueze delivered a single accurate cross? Always shooting and rubbish shots even a toddler will catch. He scored a nice goal today but every other move he made was just an endeavor to give away possession.

Then the ones that are somewhat clever are just too poor on the ball. Onyeka messed up a basic through pass that a kid from La Masia will make with his eyes closed. He then had the ball in acres of space and ballooned it from the edge of the box.

I see a team of fast, strong men. These are barely footballers.

Troost
Osimhen
Bassey
Iwobi
Aina
Lookman
Simon
