Our government is useless... We need a regime change.
The Nigerian government is the most clueless set of people i have ever seen.

What should be more important to this foolish government than the Nigerian citizens.. Or are we second class citizens in the country we call ours. Why can't the foolish buhari led administration restrict foreigners from entering Nigeria a country of over 200 million people.

The major function of a government is to protect its citizen from any form of danger. This clueless administration has failed in that aspect countless times. I see no reason why any Nigerian should still believe or put their trust in this administration as it is apparent that the government is not capable of carring out most of its basic functions.

BTW, l passed as a passenger, through one of our International Airports three days ago and l was shocked that through, not one single attempt was made to check any of the passengers, for Covid-19!
Not even the most basic temperature Check, was conducted. We had Chinese and other Asians, and a few italians on that flight, in and around the Halls as well.
And l was wondering: Despite all the noise our Ministers and Commissioners for Health, including our Dcotors, make on TV, here is the most dangerous point of importing the virus, left unchecked.
My fear is that by the time we realize we have been infected, we wont be able to cope at all, because we have this "false sense of invincibility" and our Health Managers are too busy helping themselves with the Millions allocated to fight the Virus, to care about anything happeneing at the Ports, right now.
being vigilant and cautious, is not the same thing as being worried.
Prevention is alway sbetter than Cure.

so just came back from morning drills. 4-7:30. we did the whole man o' war drills. marching.....gyration. the Muslims were excused to go to the mosque and the Christian did their praise and worship on the parade ground.

Even the UK is not quarantining people coming into their country. Those who went on holiday in Italy and are back to the UK entered freely from the airports without any instruction on self quarantine at home.
Their health minister who has just been diagnosed is staying in her house away from people and not in any quarantine centre.
The nigerian government is proactive. I've just read CBN has advised people to avoid cash and do cashless transaction. When you come into Nigeria, I learnt they are screening people by checking temperature at the airport. That's more than what a lot of other developed countries are doing

That's not enough now... They should retrict traveling to uk for now.... Prevention they say, is better that than cure

It's now apparent that there is or might be an outbreak of covid19 in UK. A responsible government (Nigerian) should take necessary precautions to prevent virus from entering the country from UK. Anybody coming from UK should be quarantined.

I hope Nigerian government is monitoring this situation closely

We have a global (online) meeting which people are asked not to miss, I was not even listening very well to what they are saying, the president said there are more developer than engagement to they have to let some people go, a mail was sent to all impacted people and I discovered what has just happened

3. Aftermath of being fired… how did you feel, have you recovered, did you get something better?

The company is actually a great one, they brought in pychologist to speak with us, bring in different recruiter, and other stuff, most importantly the payoff was reasonable that I can afford a Mac laptop of almost half-a-million

Luckily for me I got another reasonable job in less than 3 weeks of been retrenched


I always laugh when people complain there is no job in Nigeria, less than 5 month after leaving my previous company I have turned down almost 4 other offers some even paying than my current one

All we are is just what is in our brain, and when it dies that means we die. I don't see how all our data that makes up us is somehow transported from a damaged and rotting brain into an alternative reality where we continue to experience ourselves.

All explanations of an afterlife are all based off myths and magic, there is no actual scientific approach to how an afterlife would work. We know that nothing is accredited to magic; there is science behind things like echos, the tides, the sun rising, etc. So why would we believe that there is some magical way of us continuing to live on after death?
