PoliticsRe: 8 Deadly Security Threats Nigeria Is Facing by smirn(m): 9:51am On May 15, 2016

I rate Buhari as the biggest threat to Nigeria because of his divisiveness. Fulani herdsmen/militancy are results of Buhari's policies or lack of it.
Wailers like you are the greatest threat in waiting, very soon you guys will start committing sucide due to fustration as Nigeria will soon start to overcome the present threats as in the case of Boko Haram and others to come.

Imagine only a meagre sum of 18.5 billion will be spent on roads passing through SE
SW has 53billion to be spent on roads passing through the zone.

This is serious.

When Nnamdi Kanu speak the truth on the things going on in this geographical contraption, some naive Igbos will be too blind to see.

Anioma only got 2billion.
Anioma got N2b, and yes we are happy if the Sapele- Agbor-Ewu road is rehabilitated. I think that is the only major Federal government road that is really not ok in the region. The major federal road that cut across Delta state are the Benin-Warri-Patani road and the Benin-agbor Asaba express which are both very good roads completed by OBJ. When GEJ was in power, no single federal road was repaired in Delta State. The other major road in the state linking Ugheli- kwale-Asaba which is a state road has been under construction for over 8 years without completion due to the handiwork of the then corrupt Uduagan led PDP government in in Delta State.

The cost of the the project is #170b and it is a PPP project government will commit #17b which is 10% of the cost of the project and the concessioneer company will provide the remaining 90% funding, the previous government have release #4b which the current government just complete the commitment of the fg #17b on the project.[/quote

One of the wailing zombies speaking, see as ur sense reach. It was GEJ that fustrated Nigerians even with partial removal of subsidy in 2012. All the savings made then was stolen by GEJ and his men under the corrupt SURE-P program. You are indeed a dead wailing zombie.

When the refineries are not working they did not protest for it to work. No issue let Government listen to them, bring back subsidy and forget about their demand for minimum wage increase. Fuel should revert to N86/litre and minimum wage should remain at N18,000, simple. The budget need to be reappropriated to give room for subsidy payment, capital expenditure should be dropped from 30% to 9% of the total budget. Useless Labour Union.

But good luck tried to do it and he was rebuked!!!

Suddenly it's a great idea

All of GEJ's ideas are suddenly becoming the best Ideas
But this government should have their own ideas too na
In 2012, GEJ announce the total removal of subsidy and indeed Nigeria protested due to the sharp increase of fuel to about 120%. Maybe most of you here were not born then or were still babies, it was agreed by all stake holders that the removal of subsidy should be done in phases and GEJ was allowed to partially remove subsidy on PMS by 50%. The government then set up sure-p with the savings from the 50% removal and promised to build refineries and provide other cushioning measures. It was really so unfortunate that nothing was done with 50% sure-p money to boost local fuel supply. It should be on clear notice that the removal of subsidy on pms started with GEJ in 2012.

Why not blame the clueless master when his administration spent millions of dollars for the Turn Around Maintenance of the refineries without anything to show for it. All the same, Nigerians are paying the last price to end fuel scarcity which have always be recurrent experience.

Jonathan government spent huge sum of money for the turn around maintenance of these refinaries, yet there was nothing to show for the investment. During the partial removal of fuel subsidy, nigerians were promised by GEJ that the amount saved will be used to build new refinaries, yet he left without anything on ground after he was shamely defeated.

Tufiakwa
**** A simple look at the post is clear to a right thinking person. With the state of the refinaries for now, it will be cheaper to import rather than running the refinaries at a very low efficiency level which definately will result to high cost of production and waste. Instead of allowing this waste of crude oil, its better we sell them off and import the PMS, until the refinaries are fully well maintained for optimal operation. I think this is a simple and common sense.

It has long been public knowledge that allegations of massive corruption trailed Buhari not just as PTF Chairman but as far back as his days as Oil minister in the 70's. Naturally, there are many people who don't care about such allegations as long as they are politically benefiting from the system

Please let us be realistic for once, you know where you live, your state, maybe the neighbouring state to you. Is there any new road built in the last 10 years? For instance, I knw within Ondo, Edo and say Delta state, in the last past decade, the only new road is the Benin - Auchi- okene road which is barely less than 10% completion. Benin Ore was repaired ok, not a new road. Warri- ugheli-Port harcourt road has being on construction for more than 10 years now but yet to be completed. So talk of any new road you know.

This budget of noise and mockery, I strongly believed will turn out to be the best in Nigeria. Surely those behind the downfall of this government will definitely be disappointed and shamed. Nigerians like most people here don't are not constructive with their ideas. It is very clear that most persons in government today both in the civil service and the national assembly are strongly against its success. Thank God the national assembly got it right this time by giving the full chance to do their job. It should not be a surprise that this manipulation has being in our budget in the past only for the executive to influence its speedy passage by the NA. There should be no need for fear, let the error be known and corrected. Let the NA do their job and stop making noise about errors. Those responsible for budget compilation and draft in the ministries/agencies as well as the office of budget of the federation should be properly investigated and sanctioned accordingly. All I see is politicians and enemies at work, but the interest of Nigerians is greater than theirs and will surely subdue them.

If you are sharing your family experiences here, then there is no problem. I am proudly bini and my family is not lazy.. You don't go online talking on issues you have little or no knowledge on.

The so-called Edo government is the 3Rd most indebted state in Nigeria with its debt profile rating over 200 billion naira and you come here sprewing ill-thoughts comments.

Let me be clear that I don't have time to waste my intellectual energy on APC or PDP. Both parties and Indeed all political parties in Nigeria and their members have no clear-cut political ideologies. Soon, the pro-active youth, of course not your likes with rise up and kick start a revolution that will expunge the curse from the black race.

I didn't need to go to Lagos or change my name to another tribe, I made my life useful and built my blog to where it is today, all from Benin. When companies from Lagos contact me and I tell then we are in Benin, they are always shocked and we love it.. Because at some point it shows one can actually make his life useful where ever he is if he has got the will and tenacity. I have seen orphans who are millionaires, life is not luck. life is all about choices which we exclusive make and affect us in future, good or bad.

The next time you try to make irresponsible statements against a tribe, know that it's wrong to be be-clouded by your own family experiences to make a general claim that's right in your perception but wrong in reality. Please take a seat!
Another baseless point. PDP, never in Edo.

What justification do you have that Amechi, Fashola, Tinubu are corrupt? PDP is just begging for public sympatic but its too late. What do they mean by being selective if I may ask, is EFCC going to go for those who did not steal our money because they want to prove not bias. PDP has being in governance at the central and in many states for the past 16 wasted and corrupt years so it is very much logical that 95% of those to be indicted and later sentenced for corrupt cases should be PDP.
