WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THIS WAY You can never vote for a Muslim but you work for Dangote. You can never vote for a Muslim but all your food na Dangote. You can never vote for a Muslim but your landlord whom you now owe for six months na Alhaji wey no dey bother you. You can never vote for a Muslim but your bestie & bunk mate in FGC was an Alhaji's daughter and you never fought for once over religion. You were even best ladies at each other's weddings. You can never vote for a Muslim but you sit your ass in Malaysia for 10 years and refuse to come home. You can never vote for a Muslim but you cannot do without suya. You can never vote for a Muslim but you dream of doing your wedding in Dubai. You can never vote for a Muslim but you have aborted for Rasaki seven times and your mother is a deaconess and mother in Israel. You can never vote for a Muslim but Muhammed Ali is your idol. You can never vote for a Muslim but your government can collect zero-interest loans of billions of dollars from an Islamic bank to make your life and that of your family better. You can never vote for a Christian but you work in bank owned by Christians and you never miss Xmas bonus in the office. You can never vote for a Christian but your doctor of 30 years is a Deeper Lifer. You can never vote for a Christian but the blood transfused to save the life of your mother was from a Christian you've never met. You can never vote for a Christian but you refuse to leave UK where their queen is the head of the Anglican Church. You can never vote for a Christian but all your favourite Nigerian musicians are Christians who discovered their talents in the church choirs. You can never vote for a Christian but all the people you are sleeping with are Christians in your area. You can never vote for a Christian but Tyler Perry is your dream husband. You can never vote for a Christian but you study free in Germany where Christian Democrats are in power. You can never vote for a Christian but your car and all your gadgets are from Christian nations. You can never vote for a Christian but not a single item in your house was made in a Muslim nation. Who are you deceiving? Are you not just fooling yourself? I really wonder why many Nigerians cannot think when it comes to issues of religions. Many are so sentimental with it and smart politicians have identified this weakness and use it to magamugu many Nigerians who cannot just think and ask themselves why the PDP chairman is a Muslim and why the APC chairman is a Christian. Just play the religious card and all common sense will vanish from the brains of many. The funny thing is that many of these people making mouth on Facebook forget that the same Facebook is an invention of an atheist. Nigerians, we need to wake up and smell the coffee. Our real enemies are the political, tribal and religious extremists who use everything to divide us while they loot under the cover of the same confusion they created, we all have the same enemy. We must wake up and let the world hear of our greatness. It is time for us to transcend religious bigotry and become a nation worthy of global respect. It is time for us to invent something useful for the world and humanity. You know, like Facebook that we so enjoy that we even fail to realize it is the wonderful work of a Jewish atheist. WE NEED TO WAKE UP |
omenka:And some people will cum online and say GEJ till 2019.....Hw are we sure everything dey post on NL abt GEJ achievements are not lies.....Make God save us frm dis politicians |

GEJ IN CALABAR: QUESTIONS FROM CROSS RIVERIANS [In 2011] President Jonathan in his campaign tour of Cross River State of Nigeria promised that if he is elected he would fix all the Federal highways in the State. He said that he would build a petro-chemical industry in Cross River State. President Jonathan promised to make the Tinapa Holiday Resort in Calabar productive and profitable. President Jonathan promised to provide a solution for the Bakassi imbroglio and other promises. [This is 2015 and] President Jonathan is yet on another round of campaign tour of the country after emerging the presidential candidate of the PDP for the presidential election scheduled for 14th February. While President Jonathan is billed to visit Cross River State this week in continuation of his campaign stump, it is worthy to note that he has never visited Cross River State since 2011. With the sorry state things in the State, here are some of the questions Cross Riverians should be asking him: 1. Why have you waited until this electioneering campaign to visit Cross River State? 2. What have you done for Cross River State since you became a top official (Vice President) of the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2007? 3. Have you fulfilled all your campaign promises you made to the people of Cross River State of Nigeria in 2011? 4. You have appointed hundreds of personal staff in your office; how many have you appointed from Cross River State? 5. Are you aware of the fact that for the past years of PDP controlled Federal Government of Nigeria; no single road has been constructed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in the State? 6. Do you know that the Calabar-Ugep-Obubra-Ikom Federal Highway is in such a serious deplorable and dilapidated condition? 7. Do you know that the Ogoja-Ikom Federal Highway (save the portion that is part of the Trans Africa Highway constructed by the World Bank) is in a terrible condition? Even when your Minister of Works came on TV to tell the world that you have completed it? 8. Do you know that the Calabar-Itu-Uyo-Ikot Ekpene-Aba Federal Highway is in derelict and deplorable condition so much that it is usually impassable during the rainy season? 9. Do you know the Federal Government of Nigeria has not sited any project in Cross River State since 1999? 10. Do you know that Cross River State has lost its status as an oil producing State? 11. Do you know that some parts of Boki, Obudu, and Obanliku Local Government Areas have been ceded to the Republic of Cameroon by the Federal Government of Nigeria in a purported implementation of the judgment of the International Court of Justice in the case between Cameroon and Nigeria over the sovereignty of the Bakassi peninsula? 12. Do you know that only three (3) Students from Cross River State were awarded scholarship in 2014 to study abroad under the Presidential scholarship scheme of the Federal Government of Nigeria for the Niger Delta Region? 13. Do you know that one hundred and four (104) students from your State (Bayelsa) were awarded scholarship in 2014 to study abroad under the Presidential scholarship scheme of the Federal Government of Nigeria for the Niger Delta Region? 14. Do you know that part of Cross River State (Bakassi) has been ceded to the Republic of Cameroon by the Federal Government of Nigeria? 15. Why did the Federal Government of Nigeria under your leadership failed to appeal the judgment of the International Court of Justice in the case between Cameroon and Nigeria over the sovereignty of the Bakassi peninsula despite the fact that you constituted a Committee headed by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Honourable Mohammed Adokie (SAN) in September 2012 to appeal the judgment? 16. Why did you failed to intervene and settle amicably the dispute between Akwa Ibom State and Cross River State over oil wells (as done by former President Olusegun Obasanjo)? 17. Despite your dismal and abysmal failure to fulfil all the electioneering promises you made to the people of Cross River State in 2011; why do you think they should trust you again? 18. Why is the dredging of the Calabar Channel not completed until now? 19. Why do you treat Cross River State with such contempt and utter distain? 20. You order the transfer of some oil wells belonging previously to your State (Bayelsa); why didn’t you apply the same measure in the case of the dispute between Akwa Ibom and Cross River State? 21. Since your supporters here in Cross River State say you are a South/South President; why have you not done anything for Cross River State (which is part of the South/South)? 22. You boasted in one of your campaign stumps that the PDP controlled Federal Government of Nigeria has created many millionaires and billionaires in the country; how many of these millionaires and billionaires are from Cross River State? 23. Cross River State suffered all these when she gave you block vote as a single party State, what would be her fate now that other parties are also breathing deep?? |
