I am a Christian, and attend a Pentecostal Church. Churches, just like Christianity, is open to individual definition on how they see it and it has no one clear definition. so your question on why people consider the Catholic something else, will get you a lot of different answers, even if majority will be shrouded in ambiguity.

The Catholic Church did not start getting heat today from people. It started from the time the Church deviated from the Bible, and became a POLITICAL PARTY in the 14th and 15th Century.

The Catholic Church became too powerful.

There was a time in Europe, the Catholic Church had their hands in the choosing of Monarchs, and was heavily into financial racketeering. And it is on record that most Pope from that Era were Closet/Open Gays, who liked little boys, and that problem still persists with the amount the Catholic Church around the World keep paying money yearly to little boys molested by Catholic Priests.

And that is why Martin Luther lead the revolt, that nearly saw the collapse of the Catholic. God bless him.

As an individual, my problem with the Catholic has to do with the way they worship, as it is almost idolatry. Why can't i as a Christian pray to God directly?why do i need one statue, picture or something to intercede for me?why do i need to be calling the name of this Saint or that Saint to intercede on my behalf?

Why do i need to confess my sins in a Booth to another man(Reverend Father) when i can talk to God directly?is the Reverend Father now a gate keeper to God or Heaven?

But all these pale in comparison to one SIN i will never forgive the Catholic for. And that SIN is to make ABLE MEN with WORKING PRIVATE PARTS not be able to MAKE LOVE, or have babies just because they want to be Catholic Priests. Who made that DAMN LAW? God put a D--K on a man's body for a reason, but the Catholic, who in some way are claiming GOD are forcing MEN not to use it, because they want to serve God.

God, when he created MAN in the Garden of EDEN noticed after some days he had KONJI. And so he created EVE to be his helper,both in that Department(KONJI) and other Departments. So why is the Catholic Church reversing God's law?

there is nothing like dictatorship in this matter. Government get court order to take possession of no Bvn so there is nothing like undemocratic. In the case of dead person's money domicile in the bank for years without any claim is the banks fault. Why they can't trace their next of kin or the address submitted to bank before he died?

I got your point it doesn't work like that. What about the dead ones that their family don't even have knowledge of their money and bank has been using their money to borrow customers over a years? What about criminal activity perform by these banks for intentional collecting looted money from government official and managing for them? Most of the money we are talking about, banks know the owners of them but they will never mention them. Please don't pity them they know what they are doing. To those on abroad I will say they should go to court to get justice for the money they laboured for. Banks in Nigeria should practise real banking system not thief banking system. What about unnecessary deduction banks were deducting from customers accoint. Time is coming for that too. You also mentioned recession. It can never cause recession for the fact that the money will be kept with CBN and manage by federal government to finance capital project or possibly used to offset some debt. Mismanagement is what can cause economic problem.

I have already answer your question before when I said that those in prison or living abroad who have no opportunity to come home and do their Bvn should go to court and seek for court order to attenticate their reason for not coming home during the exercise. Majority od the money we are talking aboit is in million and billions. If not in prison and you have five million of naira in your account and the money is genuine please what are you doing in abroad that will not make you to come home and do the Bvn. Am sire majority of them,let say 95 percent will never come and ask for it again in life. If a civil servant can have 100 million in account, do you think he will ever come for it again? Where woild he say he get it from? This are the money belonging to federal or state government or possibly money they suppose to give the government employee but will keep in sepate accoint for some years to yield interest and if no question on it again they will withdraw it and clean mouth.

Government is talking about accounts not linked to BVN at all. If you have lost your BVN number, simply go back to your bank and get it.

I really don't see why some so called analyst are against this move. If government don't take custody of the funds, the banks will use it as they like forever. The funds in the unlinked accounts have been there since 2015 without anybody claiming it. Government should take custody of the funds and use it judiciously for the good of the entire country.
