mustspin: you need to update your records, do u know that even Nipost has upgraded, you can check out your street post code on the internet- www.nigeriapostcodes.com
you must be very silly? take oyo state as a case study, the nipost site displays only 3 towns for the state, are there only 3 towns in oyo state? mind you nipost covers only major cities and towns. i still say it again most towns and cities still dont have traceable addresses, u wont understand untill u have a cause to get to some places
bruv! haba! its a small step in the right direction |

jaybee: @snthesis - without sentiments that is highly debatable and practically unrealistic.
for every action there is the presentable reason and the real motive. the presentable reason is what has been told to the public; the real motive is to swindle nigerians. THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SCAMS I'VE SEEN IN THIS CIVILIAN RULE. change is always difficult to take. a similar thang occurred with the immigration service- the old nigerian passports that could easily be counterfeited has been replaced with ecowas passports that takes into cognizance biometrics data. we cant continually live in analog ages. back to the topic. in Jand once you break a traffic offence, it so easy to trace the crime,y, Because they have a database that matches with drivers licence as well as the vehicle papers, and points get deducted. your line of argument might stand , if the same basis can be applied to existing number plates? if yes, then the rule should apply to only newly registered vehicles. mustspin: most towns and cities in nigeria except for a few like lagos and abuja have a proper addressing system. most address are very difficult to trace. to me, its just like starting a book from chapter 5 unless they are going to do a proper KYC, doesnt make any sense atall.

Deep Soul: Ochukoccna, I somewhat agree with you.
Intense love is dangerous. Especially with the wrong person.
there is a difference btw infatuation and love, unfortunately spotting it out is rather difficult. brainpulse: This was what many of our parents believed in that they had to endure and suffer in marriage, because majority married base on arrangement, then they found it difficult to live together because there was no feeling initially at all and they became trapped for live saying if not for my children i would have left and bla bla bla Most of our parents stayed together cos of economic reasons and cultural reasons- the man was the provided for the household and it was a shameful tin to go back to ur parents house, unfortunately/fortunately, women are getting more independent by the day as such do not have to take crap for a no goody hubby to stay in a wack marriage, and the shameful nature of being a divorcee is fast elapsing, wen you add this too factors its small wonder y there are increasing cases of shortlived marriages. the more developed the economy/loose cultural values the higher the cases of divorce. |

sentiments aside- if properly implemented, it would provide a means of ready identification of owners of vehicles, thus improve traceability i.e. in case of a crime or accident. |
