and so she started.... ….I was in my third serious relationship (excluding school runs offcourse,), i was closer to 30 than 25, Tunde had met with my parents we were both in love, my dad really liked him so did my mum, he had a good job, had his apartment, an ac chilling car and most of all he said he loved me, his bedroom skills superb, so you could imagine my utter amazement when he proposed, yes Tunde wanted to marry me. i was all too eager to share with my friends my mum, i was in high heavens. Tunde officially declared his intentions to my parents a week later, formal introduction was agreed to hold in month, after introduction a date was agreed by both parents for the engagement/wedding proper... ghen ghen i couldnt wait to be called Mrs. Ore xyz. and then it happened, a few weeks later Tunde called off the wedding. I was in total shock ,ahan!!! Ahan!!! no way could lightning strike 3times, yes i repeat 3times this was the third consecutive time i would get dumped just before the wedding day. haba something was definitely wrong.... I remained inconsolable (Tunde got married to someone else), no one could bring me out of my shell, I lost weight, resigned from my job, I became a ghost of my robust self. My mum panicked when it appeared I was becoming suicidal and then one evening she called me to her room…what happened next was stranger than fiction… she stripped and made me swear that what she was about to reveal could never be revealed, and then asked me why was I killing yourself over a man, and if having a man was my problem then all I had to do was get my chosen spouse to eat of the concoction which she brought out and then she boasted saying “your daddy has been on this for the past 35yrs, he thinks he is in love but I know better"… in my desperation I took the concoction and proceeded to look for my spouse…..i am so so sorry… I really love you, ….that was how my wife of two years, confessed to me. I’m still in shock, I look at our baby, I look at my wife with eyes wide open, with disgust…. and walked out I need advise, what should I do |

the ruling was expected. the major intent is to split the vote of the PDP/AD-Tinubu stalwarts coalition for OKE. APC played smart noting that forcing Jimoh Ibrahim would only strengthen the coalition of PDP and AD/ Tinubu stalwarts, for now the chances of Oke winning over Akerodolu is lost. the votes have been split. northerners are tactical politicians. let see if either Oke or jegede would drop the mandate for the other. |

well- u kinda hit d nail on the head Nigerians are known to be very resilient and our leaders use that trait to dia advantage- when u push a Nigerian to the wall, rather than fight back, he would try to push the wall. that being said, anytime the govt wants to pull a fast one over d populace- the 1st thing is to create a distraction, and then build on it, afterwhich Nigerians will beg to take the pill. another case in point: notice how the govt easily passed the importation of grass from Brazil (can u imagine- we now import grass) and the fast approval of the grazing bill. now how did this happen- simply the distraction was the rampaging fulani herdsmen ( all of a sudden the destruction attributed to the fulani herdsmen became everyday news and voila Govt came with a solution (which they planned all along)- lets acquire grazing field from states and lets import grass for the cattle...end |

I never said petrol will sell for N40 per litre under Buhari – David-West By Sylvester Ugwuanyi on April 11, 2016 David-West1 A former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Prof Tam David-West who served when Muhammadu Buhari was the Head of State, has denied saying that President Buhari will crash the price of petrol to N40 per litre, regretting that he must have been misquoted. This was as he stressed that it was shameful that Nigeria is still involved in importation of petroleum products despite having four refineries capable of meeting the energy needs of the country. He insisted that there is nothing wrong with the nation’s refineries. The Professor of Virology who spoke to Daily Sun in a telephone interview at the weekend, clarified that he only canvassed the removal of some 14 items currently listed in the petrol pricing template as that which would help crash petrol price to N40.
