FEW days ago SOJ WORLDWIDE raised alarm over a viral video showing a young lady beating a 9-month-old kid with a rod and stepping on him, her whereabout was not known at the time.

The wicked lady has been arrested, sadly the kid on whose behalf Nigerians raised alarm is dead.

The information leading to how the kid died and where, how and when the lady was arrested is not known as at the time of filing this report.

The information was released by @lagospedia on Sunday evening.

BETTY Anyanwu-Akeredolu, former first Lady of late Governor of Ondo State, Oluwaferanmi Akeredolu has condemned the All Progressives Congress, APC Primary election held in Ondo State on Saturday, April 21, 2024.

In a Press Release signed by Betty available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, she said the adversaries of Aketi has succeeded in "urinating on his grave with relish."

She referred to Nigeria as a Zoo and that what Aketi worked for in seven years have been bastardized.

"What happened, yesterday, at the primaries was unprecedented. It was terrible! Never experienced that kind of kangaroo and fraudulent primaries in Ondo State in the last 7 years.

It was like Aketi's adversaries have succeeded in urinating on his grave with relish. The hands of professional election riggers known and unknown were all over the place.

Without credible elections, Nigeria will continue to crawl with disabilities in leadership given that the power interlopers at the helm of affairs lack character, compassion, sincerity of purpose, mental and intellectual capacities for providing quality leadership required to stand firm and engage in impactful developmental strides.

It will interest you to note that, throughout the election cycles during Aketi's time, elections were relatively free and fair. Though tension soaked yet interesting to be involved or watch.

No thuggery, (Aketi was known for NOT encouraging thuggery), voters voted in peace without molestation. Go and verify as PO would say.

I make bold to say that Nigeria witnessed peace and decorum in the conduct of elections in Ondo State while Aketi was the Governor. Imagine, PDP won 2 MHA seats in Akoko and Aketi didn't upturn them.

I remember party stalwarts wanted him to reverse the results to favour APC but he refused stating that it was the choice of the constituents.

I was very proud of my husband because that's how things should be if we were in a sane clime.

Sadly Nigeria is a ZOO! It is heartbreaking that the positive changes in the conduct of elections that Aketi nurtured for 7 years have been thrown to the dogs.

Thuggery is back in Ondo State politics with vengeance. Beeni! Big time!!!

KIDNAPPERS struck on Thursday as they abducted a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Olugbenga Olawore, alongside other passengers while they were in a 14-seater commercial bus heading to Lagos State from Ipapo town in Oyo State.

Olawore, whose mother died in February, currently pastors RCCG, Heavens Gate Parish, Lagos Province 73, along Agbara-Lusada Road, Ogun State.

 SOJ WORLDWIDE  learned that the incident occurred at the Maya axis of Lanlate-Eruwa Road at about 5 pm when the pastor was returning from Ipapo town, where he went to put the final touches on the burial arrangements for his mother.

The burial of his mother, Deaconess Deborah Olawore, was said to have been scheduled to commence with a Christian Wake next week on Friday, April 26, while the burial was slated for Friday, May 3.

A family source told  SOJ WORLDWIDE  that after holding the pastor and others hostage, the kidnappers called his wife at about 8 pm and allowed him to talk to her.

The pastor was said to have told his wife that he was kidnapped with others and that the abductors were demanding N10 million as ransom.


The source said one of the kidnappers who called the wife broke out in his language, making it known that he and his gang members were of Fulani extraction.

He was said to have called again the following day at about 9 a.m., and the pastor started appealing to his wife to look for money, even if it was N1 million, and not allow the abductors to kill him as they had done to some of those held hostage.

“When the wife asked where to drop the money if it was eventually gathered from friends and relatives, the abductors beside her husband started speaking in a language she did not understand.

Abruptly, he cut off the call, and attempts by the wife to call back failed as the line had been switched off.

“She kept on trying the line, but it remained switched off. At about noon, she contacted a family member to go to the police station to report. That was on Friday,” it was disclosed.

The source said further that when the pastor’s relatives got to the police station, he met family members of other kidnapping victims. He learned that the police recovered the abandoned commercial bus and some phones belonging to some victims.

The wife of the pastor reportedly waited in vain for the call from the kidnappers until Saturday morning, when she learned that one of the kidnapping victims who was able to escape had his phone and called the police. Hunters came into the bush and dislodged the kidnappers, making them and their victims flee in different directions.

“Till now, she has not been able to communicate with her husband, as the kidnappers did not call,” the source stated.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adewale Osifeso, confirmed the kidnapping case but said that some of them had been rescued.

The PPRO disclosed that police operatives, in collaboration with other security agencies and local hunters, were in the forest and surrounding areas of the incident to rescue the remaining victims and arrest the suspects.

He said,

“Some of the rescued victims are assisting with useful leads that can help the investigation. All routes around the area, including the adjoining forest areas, are being combed.

“Investigation is ongoing. Updates would be provided accordingly.”

In his 1987 novel about a high-profile criminal trial in New York City, author Tom Wolfe has one of the lead characters, Assistant District Attorney Larry Kramer, share an open secret about how juries are selected: “You get people who come into the jury box with their minds – how should I say it? – set in a certain way. There’s a lot of Us versus Them.”

In “The Bonfire of the Vanities,” the big dividing line was race. In this week’s mammoth New York trial of former President Donald Trump on charges of falsifying business records in connection to hush money paid to an adult film star, the yawning gap between “Us” and “Them” is along partisan lines.

That dynamic has already reared its head, as at least 50 jurors – representing more than half of the first group of prospective jurors – were dismissed on the first day of jury selection Monday because they said they couldn’t be impartial.

The mass dismissal underscores the difficulty of finding acceptable jurors and is just the first obstacle facing the unprecedented prosecution of a former President that will leave a bad taste in many voters’ mouths from the unmistakable political undertones.

It should come as no surprise that it will be hard to find jurors who don’t bring strong political predispositions to bear given that the motivation for bringing this case looks to be so transparently political. The circus that is the first-ever criminal trial of a former President illustrates why this particular case may have been a poor choice to break that precedent.


Though seven were sworn in on Tuesday, there were still illustrations of the problems of a politicized jury pool.

One potential juror who underwent questioning, for instance, was subsequently struck for cause after Trump’s team found social media posts from the juror referencing Trump that say, “Get him out” and “Lock him up.”

The scandal-plagued 77-year-old is accused of falsifying business records in a scheme to cover up an alleged sexual encounter with adult film actress Stormy Daniels to shield his 2016 election campaign from adverse publicity.

Indeed, it seems unlikely that this case would be being prosecuted with the same vigor and creative legal theorizing if Trump were an everyday citizen.

After all, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg came into office promising to focus on the ongoing investigation of Trump, and would have likely felt political heat from New York Democrats had he decided to close the investigation without bringing charges.

In the end, as The New York Times reported in March 2023, Bragg’s office took a “circuitous and sometimes uncertain road” to filing criminal charges, reviving a dying investigation that originally focused on Trump’s business practices with a renewed focus on hush money payments.

To Bragg’s supporters, it’s a mark of his diligence and fortitude that he left no stone unturned. To his detractors, the drawn-out investigation, seeming to pivot from one potential crime to another, gives the impression of a DA looking for a crime to pin on an unfavored individual. (Trump has pleaded not guilty.)

After all, making hush money payments, as Trump is alleged to have done with former adult film actress Stormy Daniels, isn’t illegal.

Instead, the case is built around a rather aggressive interpretation of the relevant statutes: In his records, Trump recorded his reimbursement to former “fixer” Michael Cohen, who handled the Daniels payment, as a legal expense. This deception would normally be considered a misdemeanor offense in New York State.

But Bragg, unwilling to let Trump off the hook easily, is hinging his case on the allegation that this misdemeanor offense was in service of a violation of federal campaign finance laws. The Federal Election Commission opted not to charge Trump with a violation of election law on this front, with two Republican Commissioners noting that Cohen had already pleaded guilty in relation to the alleged violation, and further government action “was not the best use of resources.”

Another problem, as National Review’s Andrew McCarthy has pointed out, is that Bragg, a state prosecutor, is seeking to enforce a federal statute, bringing this case against an offense “that the feds themselves did not believe Trump committed, and that Bragg is politically engineering into a new election law of his very own.”

Not that Trump is blameless in this. Trump’s manifest character flaws and history of shady dealings are being highlighted, once again, by a trial that includes the phrases “hush money” and “porn star.” And even while this case faces significant legal scrutiny from lawyers and legal commentators, his other pending trials, such as his handling of classified materials at his Mar-a-Lago home or his attempt to bully Georgia election officials in 2020, do run a much stronger risk of placing him in serious legal danger.

In a sense, it’s hard to blame the jurors who feel they can’t be impartial. For decades, Trump has been a fixture on our airwaves, social media sites and political coverage. And his well-documented celebrity, outrageous social media posts and charged political rhetoric make him a challenge for even the most sober-minded juror to treat as an individual rather than a politician.

Trump also has an unquestioned ability to push his supporters to defend the indefensible, even as he induces his opponents to stretch the envelope in their attempts to derail his candidacy. As such, no matter how the current trial is resolved, it will emphasize yet again how Republicans could – and, I would argue, should – have picked a presidential nominee with less baggage.

But they didn’t, and now many are feeling a rally-round-the-flag effect in what is likely the first and potentially only Trump criminal case that’s going to trial before Election Day.

If Democrats are so willing to come up with creative legal theories to keep him out of office, some voters may think that all their rhetoric about “constitutional norms” wasn’t as high-minded as it sounded.

The recent Supreme Court decision unanimously striking down Colorado’s attempt to remove Trump from the ballot was a reminder that too-cute attempts to keep Trump out of the White House can backfire. And the flimsiness of the hush money case will allow Trump’s supporters to downplay the seriousness of the other charges against him, making it less likely that they will have a significant political impact in November.

Bragg’s decision to bring this case, with its attenuated connection to an actual crime, can’t be taken out of its political context. The weakness of this case muddies the water for future efforts to attack Trump’s more egregious conduct.

The jury selection and following court maneuverings will highlight how strong the disagreements are between “Us” and “Them.” And Trump’s ability to push both his supporters and his detractors past the bounds of normal political battles, and to Washington, DCpull out all the stops to win, will remain unparalleled.

OSUN State Police Command on Friday, April 19, 2024 paraded a Herbalist along with others who strangulated and dismembered the body of her lover who paid him a visit in Ibadan.

The deceased identified as Mrs Usman Aminat aged 45 left her residence at Apomu in Osun State to visit the herbalist lover identified as Onifade Oyekanmi (30) at the Ibadan when the incident happened.

The report had it that after Onifade had carnal knowledge of the woman, he strangulated her with the advise of his gang.


After killing her, her body was dismembered, cooked, roasted by the gang members.

After they have roasted her, the powder of the body was put into bottles for ritual purposes. All the exhibits were paraded along with the suspected murderers.

BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:
On 18/03/2024 at about 5:10pm, the complainant reported at Apomu Division that on 13/03/2024 at about 10:00am, that his mother named Usman Aminat 'f' about 45 yrs old left home for lbadan Oyo State to pay a visit to one Onifade Oyekanmi a.k.a lfa whose house is located at lyana Ajia lbadan.


That ever since she left home her cell phones were switched off and her whereabouts was unknown and that he strongly suspected the said Onifade Oyekanmi an herbalist that he knows much about his mother's disappearance.

The said Onifade was subsequently arrested and the case was transferred to the SCID, Osogbo for further and discreet investigation.
Immediately detectives from the homicide section swung into action and the confession of the first suspect led to the arrest of the following suspects namely: OYEBODE OLALEKAN 'M', IFAYEMI OJELEKE 'M', and JAMIU LASISI 'M'. They all confessed to the individual roles they played.

Investigation reveals that they all conspired to use the victim for money rituals.

Thereafter, search warrants were executed in the houses and premises of the suspects where the above-mentioned exhibits were recovered.

The fifth suspect named Abiola Aminat ‘f’ who is a neighbour to the fourth (4th) suspect assisted him to conceal his own share of the powder substance suspected to be burnt human parts.

She was later granted administrative bail as she is nursing a baby of about 4 months. The first and second suspects confessed to have conspired and strangled the victim to death in the house of the 1st suspect.

The third suspect was invited and dismembered (butchered) the deceased body. Thereafter, the intestine (victim) was mixed with that of the dog, pig, goat and other herbs in a black clay pot, burnt to black powder and shared among the above 1st four suspects.

The suspect-Onifade stated to have burnt the two Cell phones belonging to the deceased after killing her to evade being trace and the victim’s purse containing ATM and money were taken away by one of the suspects at large.

The suspects will be charged to court after the completion of the investigation.

"President Bola Tinubu says his administration remains undeterred in its pursuit of comprehensive economic security for the country while addressing foundational challenges and creating a fair and equitable system in which all Nigerians can thrive.

Speaking when he received leaders of Afenifere, the respected Yoruba Socio-Cultural Organization, at the State House in Abuja, on Wednesday, the President said his administration is re-engineering Nigeria’s finances and seeking to boost the purchasing power of citizens, and spread prosperity down the line, by instituting a credit system where the element of cash is not an impediment to a significantly enhanced standard of living for all citizens.

He said Nigeria must secure itself economically first before it can achieve any of its more sophisticated objectives.

‘’We are committed to the economic survival of our country. To re-engineer the finances of our country, we must start in earnest. So first, retool, revamp the economic opportunities available, and resolve to continue taking the firm and steady baby steps that are necessary.

‘’Education is a strong weapon against poverty. To empower the people, we must invest in the future of our youths. We have seen the problems parents face in training their children in school; it is the reason why we established the National Student Loan Programme, which is taking off well.

‘’We are equally examining what to do with the high degree of unemployment. We must help vulnerable people by providing social security.


We are looking at how to provide allowances for the unemployed, and we are developing ways to boost the purchasing power of citizens with the Consumer Credit Scheme.

If we remove the cash upfront element to buy a car or a house, we will reduce the propensity for fraud and corruption across the land,’’ President Tinubu said.

Speaking on security, the President declared that those who threaten the sovereignty of Nigeria would pay a heavy price.

‘’I am irrevocably committed to the unity of Nigeria and constitutional democracy.

Constitutional democracy is reflected greatly here since we assumed office. What we face now is the challenge of terrorism. Security of life and property is very necessary for development. I can tell you we are achieving success. We have degraded terrorism to a level that they cannot threaten the sovereignty of Nigeria any longer.

‘’Banditry and kidnapping will be defeated. And there is no payment of ransom whatsoever. We are taking the battle to them.


We are getting results more rapidly than before. We are working hard on intelligence gathering. Those who think they can threaten the sovereignty of Nigeria will have themselves to blame.

They have a price to pay. And we are not going to relent,’’ the President affirmed.

The President thanked the esteemed delegation for their prayers and support, assuring them that he would not relent in his resolve to advance Nigeria.
‘’God bless Nigeria. God bless our unity; our diversity must bring prosperity for all for the sake of Nigeria,’’ President Tinubu concluded.
Earlier in his remarks, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olu Falae commended the President for his courageous decisions and for the rehabilitation of the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, as well as other critical ongoing projects.

He urged the President not to relent in ensuring fairness and equity for all Nigerians while noting the importance of a constitutional amendment to devolve more powers to the states.

THE Nigerian national currency, the Naira, is recovering from its position of dishonour to the position of honour courtesy, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Yemi Cardoso and his team with the maximum support of President Bola Tinubu.

In the past one month, Naira has gained N900.00 against the United States Dollars while the prices of commodities, petrol and others remain where it was when Naira was N1,900 to a Dollar.


Business is a risk, you either lose or win, you either gain or suffer loss. 
It is not logical to tell Nigerians to wait till stocks of commodities is exhausted before prices come down, they did not wait before adding to their prices at slighted information of marginal falling of Naira.

Nigerians are always at the receiving ends suffering from what they are not privy to.

Had Naira falling to N2,500, by this time, a litre of petrol would have been N1,000 or more, now that it is N1,000 to USD, prices remain where it used to be.

Are we going put the blame at the doorsteps of the President?  Tinubu is doing his best, it is now left for Nigerians to make life worth a living for one another.

YORUBA Nation Activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has condemned in strong terms the attacks at the Oyo State Secretariat, Ibadan by a Yoruba Nation agitators headed by Dupe Onitiri-Abiola on Saturday, April 13, 2024.


Igboho made the statement on Agidigbo FM program anchored by Oriyomi Hamzat.


He denied being part of the insurrection saying those who carried out the attacks are mentally deranged.  He added that Dupe Onitiri-Abiola surfaced with her faction when he was in prison at the Republic of Benin.   Igboho said whatever action the Yoruba Nation led by him would take, he always carry the people along.

Ten years ago today, 276 girls were abducted in the night from their school in Chibok, northeastern Nigeria. The attack by Boko Haram pricked the conscience of the world. From London to Washington, protesters held placards reading #BringBackOurGirls—the hashtag the girls' families had posted to pressure their idle government into action. It would take almost three weeks for then-Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan even to make a public announcement. Critical time had been lost.

When this March, 137 children were tragically taken from a school in Kaduna, northwestern Nigeria, the shadow of Chibok lay ever present. Why, Nigerians and the world asked, after the passage of a decade was such an atrocity still happening?

This time, unlike Chibok, the girls and boys were brought back a fortnight later, the security and intelligence agencies deployed immediately to rescue them. Nevertheless, legitimate concerns over kidnappings persist in Africa's most populous country.

Success in Kaduna has brought families relief and praise for the military, yet the government bears no illusions: The scourge of kidnappings must be routed once and for all.

It begins with recognizing the changing nature of the threat. Boko Haram translates to "Western Education is Forbidden" and reflects an ideological impetus as jihadi insurgents opposed to the very idea of a Nigerian state.

Today, Boko Haram are splintered, and mass abductions are primarily the work of criminal gangs. There is no ideology here: kidnapping has become an illegal industry rewarded with ransoms. Within days of the Kaduna attack, the abductors were demanding 1 billion naira ($600,000).Nothing was paid. As president, I have been clear that ransoms stop. Resolution through payment only perpetuates the wider problem. This extortion racket must be squeezed out of existence.

Meanwhile, the costs for perpetrators must be raised: They will receive not a dime, and instead security services' counter action.But compressing the kidnap for ransom market only addresses the pull factors. If we are to avoid funneling the same people into other crimes that cause normal Nigerians to feel insecure, we must address the push factors: poverty, inequality, and a paucity of opportunity. Criminal gangs can find easy recruits among those without either a job, or the prospect of one.

Some 63 percent of Nigerians are multidimensionally poor. They are bearing the economic consequences of a failure by successive governments to get to grip with the Nigerian economy. Fiscal and monetary albatrosses have grounded the country's flight, when surging demographics demand high economic growth to just maintain current standards of living.A decades-old fuel subsidy was exhausting paltry public finances. By 2022, the cost had ballooned to $10 billion—more than the government's combined spending on education, health care, and infrastructure in a budget of $40 billion.

Currency controls that artificially propped up the naira deterred investment and led to shortages of foreign exchange. For decades we have been financially ransoming ourselves. When my government took office last May, we faced a pile of debt obligations.

Just as with kidnappers, we had to be tough with the economy. Unsustainable market distortions had to be removed. As expected, floating the naira caused it to plunge. Given Nigeria is a net food importer, the average shopping basket has consequently risen in price. The removal of the fuel subsidy, in a country where many businesses and households rely on generators for power, has also had far reaching effects.

These reforms have caused pain across Nigeria; they are still painful. Yet there is no better alternative: These and other difficult reforms are necessary to arrest the economic rot that lies at the heart of insecurity.


Green shoots are now visible. In the first quarter of this year, foreign currency inflows have almost matched those for the whole of last year. A multi-billion forex backlog at the central bank has been cleared, giving foreign investors' confidence to invest in Africa's largest economy, safe in the knowledge they can repatriate earnings. The naira has begun to stabilize after its initial downward trend and has made huge gains against the dollar.

Talk of macroeconomics might seem remote from the challenge of insecurity. But without the fundamentals in place, it is impossible for an enabling environment where the private sector thrives, jobs are created, and opportunity is spread across the country. It is how we ensure children can go to school without fear.

For any who may have doubted our direction, it should now be clear. There will be no more ransoms paid—not to kidnappers, nor toward those policies which have trapped our people economically. Nigerians, and their economy, will be liberated.

Former President Tinubu’s Southeast Spokesman and current Chairman of Forum of Former Members of Enugu State House of Assembly (FOF-MENHA), Dr. Josef Onoh has reacted to Northern Elders forum publicised regret voting for President Bola Tinubu.



Onoh in an exclusive interview with SOJ WORLDWIDE condemned in total terms the activities of most of the appointees of President Bola Tinubu for failing to propagate the monumental achievements Tinubu achieved so far within 10 months in power.



The son of the former Governor of old Anambra State and late Elder statesman said Tinubu's far reaching decisions and political will to turn around the economy cannot go without notice.



He wondered why it is those who are in the opposition like Reno Omokri, myself, Daniel Bwala and few others who are patriots that are doing what the appointees of the President ought to do.


"Going back memory lane, appointees like Otunba Olufemi Fani Kayode, Frank Nweke Jnr., Osita Chidoka Defended the President Olusegun Obasanjo administration against any political and opposition's verbal attacks and they delivered flawlessly even years after the administration has left.


Reno Omokri, Reuben Abati defended flawlessly and exceptionally the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan up till this day that everyone thinks twice before giving false narratives of the administration and today Reno Omokri is one of the greatest and best Ambassadors of the Tinubu led administration and one of the best promoters of our nation. He holds no political office under the Tinubu Government rather as a patriotic Nigerian who wants his nation to succeed and I ask,
"where are the President's appointees?"


Lai Mohammed, who even his little grandson questioned based on his notoriety for defending the Buhari led administration and also Bashir Ahmed who till today still defends the Buhari administration shows a total and alarming contrast with what is happening in the current administration.


With the exception of the Service Chiefs, who due to the nature and mandate of their offices are not permitted to engage in partisan politics, the few sincere Ambassadors of the current administration led by the Vice President who is fearless and unapologetic in defence of Tinubu administration, we have others like Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Bayo Onanuga, Tunde Rhaman, Matawalle, the EFCC Chairman, the CBN Governor, Finance Minister, Dele Alake and a handful of others that I won't mention but they know themselves.


"Nigerians should learn the general framework of the Tinubu led administration and then they should know where they come in contact with the government, which is expected to have been promoted by the appointees of the President, they should have been vocal at all times and educate the masses where the achievements of the administration touches their daily lives and where their influence is exerted on the government.



Rather, most of the President's appointees have made it look like a distant thing, someone else's business.


The President's appointees have forgotten that their most important responsibility is to promote this administration like a wheel or bar with series of projections on its edge, which transfers motion by engaging with projections on another wheel they must bear their share of responsibility for the smooth running of the entire machine." which isn't being done by their continuous silence.


" Nobody makes a greater mistake than he who does nothing because he could do only a little."


Hence, I urge the President's appointees to look beyond the euphoria of their respective offices and stand in defence of the government more than ever before.


Even the various support groups that have not benefited anything from the government are more loyal, dedicated and committed in defence of the current administration. 




It is expected that the current appointees especially from the Northern axis themselves, each in his own personal and sovereign right, entered into a compact with each other to produce and serve this Government: and this is the only mode in which appointees have a right to arise, and the only principle on which they have a right to hold their various appointments.


Finally, moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice.


It is time for Mr President to overhaul his cabinet as majority of his appointees don't share the same vision with him. 


It is either by their vocal support they are with us or by their silence they are against us. I commend and stand by Matawalle on his submissions."

The reason why the Northern Elders Forum regret voting for President Bola Tinubu is because he appointed Sen. Abdullahi Abubakar Gumel, Senior Special Assistant , National Assembly Matters (Senate).


The reason why the Northern Elders Forum regret voting for President Bola Tinubu is because he reappointed Yusuf Magaji Bichi a simple gentleman the DG DSS to serve another term in office based on merit against political interest which went against their selfish interests.


Their is so much to say but so little said, but if clearly these Northern Elders regret voting for Tinubu who clearly elevated their sons and daughters politically to the detriment of my South East region then it's clear and obvious they hate the progress of the North and don't speak for the North rather their voices and regrets belong "in the other room" and have no place or significance in 2027.

On the other hand the South East do not have any regret not voting for the President going by distribution of appointments by the current administration which has only reaffirmed their earlier perceived fears because never in the history of political transitions after the Civil War have they been so isolated like they are in the current administration.

It's now a crime to be a South Easterners under the current political arrangement, they don't even feel any form of political inclusiveness, they hold the least appointment in the current administration and the least since the end of the civil war. Even the appointees are more like diaspora representatives selected by a few privileged few with access to the Presidency at the detriment of the true supporters of the President in the region, a truth they will do everything to hide from Mr. President.

As much as the Buhari administration wasn't all that accommodating security wise for the South East, yet they felt more sense of belonging than what they feel currently.

I urge President Tinubu to look beyond the political merchants who give him false narratives of how the South East is supporting his administration including the various political defections by various South East politicians jumping into the APC, they are worse and not different from the Northern Elders Forum who regret voting for you they are only trying to reap where they did not sow and I urge you not to be fooled by their political horse trading.

The South East, despite being the worst beneficiary of the current administration yet paid a heavy price and contributed immensely to the victory of the President.

The political hatred being unleashed on the South Easterners openly and on all Social Media sites for voting for Peter Obi and on same foundation the reason why they are punished by not appointing even those who worked for the victory of the President is based on the baseless claims that they failed to give the President 25% but in reality they gave him a greater victory.

PDP remains the dominating Party in the South East and to prove same even APC serving Governors in the South East failed to deliver their state to the President.

But by ensuring Peter Obi’s Labour Party won the entire South East Presidential elections, they robbed Atiku and the PDP from a victory that they would have taken and had it not been the victory of Labour Party the alternative would have been PDP which would have jeopardized the victory of President Tinubu hence I make bold to say that the South East gave you victory and rewarding us is not a favour but morally justified.

The Ministerial appointments with exception of that of Engr. Dave Umahi made by the President is not even recognised in the South East as the Ministers are totally detached from the People of South East and the states they represent and are more seen as Social Media South East BB Ninja representatives but unlike the Northern Elders Forum we are not complaining neither do they regret voting against us during the Presidential elections but today they accept you as their President and that's more to say than the region you have given so much unlike us you've given nothing.

The South East's highest political appointment is that of our illustrious sons the Chief OF THE NAVAL STAFF, VICE ADMIRAL EI OGALLA even that little grateful appointment they attempted to take it away but we are grateful you resisted their pressure and proved you are truly Mr. President. And Eng. Dave Umahi who is making us proud.

Currently the political isolation of the South East in the current administration is so traumatising that the South East is now struggling with the South South to claim Barr. Nyesom Wike as their son and an Igbo man just to feel they are part of your administration. And I ask how hopeless can it get.

Finally, the issue of out-of-school children mainly in Northern Nigeria is a major concern for the Tinubu led administration, which has left countless young minds without access to education, the severity of this crisis, revealing the top three states grappling with the highest percentages of out-of-school children in the North with
Kebbi, Sokoto, and Yobe stand out with alarming figures, where 67.6%, 66.4%, and 62.9% of children aged 6–15 are out of school, respectively.

These numbers paint a grim picture of the educational landscape in the North which the so called Northern Elders forum are not interested in the progress of the young Northern children due to their selfish reasons.

It shows deep-seated challenges hindering children’s right to learn and succeed in Northern Nigeria which currently is what the President Tinubu Administration is making frantic effort to eradicate which is against the wishes of the so called Northern Elders Forum as they know, access to education will liberate the region which will make them lose their strong hold on the masses.


I urge the younger generations and Northern brothers to always remember that though we may have our differences, yet we have more that unites us than that which divides us and it's the mentality and political vision of those who parade themselves as Elders in various forums whose political ideas and visions are no longer in line with the greater dreams of a greater united Nigeria that is our problem. I challenge the Northern Elders forum to dare me and I'll publish more positive achievements the Tinubu administration has and is still making towards the greater success of the North which they rather selfishly distributed amongst themselves to the detriment of our Northern brothers and since Mr. President wouldn't compromise they now regret voting for him.


Let me remind this same elders that we learnt from the mistakes of former president Jonathan"s administration and won't be fooled twice.


Igbos will continue to marry Yoruba and vice versa, Hausa, tiv, and all tribes will continue to inter marry, our problems is not in the union but in our morbidity to promote a better Nigeria.


Times are changing and we have no choice than to change with it. While the select few Elders that represent their own selfish interests try to sow the seed of discord between us and our President,

I urge every Nigerian to unite and stand with our President, we only have one nation, we only have one President and it's our collective responsibility to ensure his administration succeeds for we all will be part of that success story and not Labour Party, PDP, APC etc but Nigerians.

Come 2027, let the achievements of the President determine his fate and not the disgruntled voices of a select few that's being heard from "the other room."

CONTROVERSY trails the burial of one the victim of the boat mishap, a makeup artist, Miss Abigail Fredrick who died along with Nollywood Actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo and three others while returning from a film location.

It was reported that Abigail was buried at the Riverbank because her family could not afford N150,000 sacrifice to the river to enable them give her a befitting burial in her home town in Akwa Ibom State.

Some concerned Nigerians knocked the Director, Producer and the government of Akwa Ibom State for not being able to fund the burial.

Abigail the makeup artiste who died in the ill-fated boat with Junior Pope was buried at the River Bank because her family could not afford 150 000 Naira to perform the “sacrifices” needed for the community to release her corpse for proper burial. This is such a big shame.
What is even more shameful is that the Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Entertainment Mr Moses Eskor was right there and watched her own sister pushed into a shallow grave like a goat. Shame to you Sir.
Akwa Ibom is the number one oil producing state in Nigeria and as a man on the direct payroll of the Governor you mean you couldn’t cough out 150 000 Naira? Shame on you again Sir.
We shall all get what we deserve.

He even proudly stated that he contributed 10k. Chairman of Akwa Cross Chapter of Actors Guild of Nigeria and Special Assistant to the Governor of the Richest State in Nigeria did not have more than 10k in his account to contribute for his sister to be brought home? A Commercial bus was involved in a fatal accident on the Lagos 3rd Mainland Bridge on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 flinging some of its passengers into the lagoon.

In a viral video on X.com posted by @Gidi_Traffic, sympathizers were seen calling the attention of the fishermen operating under the bridge on the lagoon.

Some months ago, the day happened to be a public holiday, my husband was working on his Laptop, his phone rang, a friend called him to pick some documents some few streets away, the man sounded very urgent, so he quickly got up and went.


In the process, he forgot to shut down his laptop, I was just passing by then I moved closer to shut down the Laptop, but my eyes suddenly went to the mail he was reading, what I saw was a mail from a girl who I felt was more than just a colleague to my husband, but the mail did not really give me a clue to have a piece of watertight evidence of infidelity against my husband, so I decided to dig further.

I tried to check his phone that was when I discovered for the first time that his phone is passworded, so I started trying to know the code, I succeeded after three weeks. I won’t tell you how, I am a woman, I should be able to know everything in my house. I did get code but later I wished I never did. What I found in the Phone almost landed Me in the Hospital, lots of chats with girls, sexy, hot and nude pictures of girls and lots more.

I got the name and phone number of a particular girl who looked like his regular girlfriend and knows everything about him, through their chats I discover she even knows my name and the names of all my Children. I confronted her with my facts and I began to rant on her, threatening fire and brimstone, I shouted, cry, cursed and abused her and her parents.

Throughout my call the girl never uttered a word, she only listened attentively, when I was tired of my ranting, I warned her to leave my husband alone. Yet she did not say anything, then I dropped the called. I felt victorious and happy, I felt like rewarding myself for a job well done.

About three hours later the girl called back. What she said woke me up from my slumber. I decided to record her call as evidence against my husband, but the call turned out to be an indictment against my womanhood and a slap on my wifehood.

She said,

“Aunty, I am not calling you back to insult you but I call you to let you know what you don’t know. Instead of you to be fighting me you are supposed to thanking me and even pay me for the job I’m doing on your behalf;

“Your husband told me everything about you, he said you hate sex like a plaque, please if it is a lie let me know, I will leave your husband immediately, he said you use to be very respectful, loving and give him quality sex regularly but after the birth of your second baby and your promotion to the Managerial level at work you suddenly changed, now all doors of interaction and intimacy are firmly shut, sex to you is like house chores, you complain about it, run away from it, you give countless excuses, sleeps off when your husband is having sex with you(How dare you), uses every reason in the book to avoid sex.”

“He said if you allow sex at all you will be behaving like somebody being beaten by a Soldier, with your face squeeze like a child being punished. He also said you always dress to bed fully kitted like a Military woman as you are fond of wearing jeans knicker in the night and you don’t care if sex does not take place in your Marriage for Months.”

“Aunty let me ask you a question” she continued, “when last did you slept with your husband? Don’t you notice that your husband has stopped asking for sex for some months now? and you did not bother about it. I have been helping you out, you should be grateful to me, I wonder why you are fighting him for sleeping with me. I’m only helping you to do the work that is so difficult for you, you need to pay me for it.

When your husband told me you’ve discovered our affair he wanted to pull out from sleeping with me, I did not bother myself, I know he can not do without me because you are not available for him and I know that with what I have given him in bed, he will call for more.

After then he tried to sleep with me but I gave him bad responses and excuses and he stopped demanding from me and I was very happy, I thought he has changed for better. I used to see him as a sex addict,

THE damning Voicenote between Aare Ona Kaakanfo, Iba Gani Adams and U.S. based Nigerian has surfaced online.

In the audio, semblance voice of Aare Gani Adams was heard indicting President Bola Tinubu, Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho and the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Tayo Ayinde.

The tussle which has snowballed into legal action has further divided the camps belonging to Gani Adams and Igboho.

Igboho is demanding immediate retraction of the statement within 48 hours and that Aare should admit in two national publications that he falsely accused Igboho or be ready to pay a damage of N10 billion."

Aare Adams, in reaction said,

"The reason for my silence in the midst of the various legal and media infractions by Igboho and Ayinde was not because I am a coward, but because of the initial interventions of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, other prominent Obas and several other important personalities in Yorubaland.

“But with the ongoing lies and aspersions against my person, I think it is time for me to come out open and set the record straight.

“Though, my legal team have done what was required of them, I need to state it clearly that the audio clip generating the squabbles was a distorted and disjointed content of a private conversation which held way back in 2021 with a US-based younger brother of a friend.

“The conversation was initiated by the young man who claimed he wanted a reconciliation between myself, Igboho and some other people. It was while responding on reasons for reconciliation at the time that he mentioned the names of the two people"

“In the said audio, I said it repeatedly that though it was very difficult to believe, there’s an unconfirmed rumour allegedly linking Igboho to the murder of the late Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige.

“My statement was not done in bad faith and it was purely a private conversation. It is surprising how a private conversation held almost four years ago would suddenly turn up in the hands of Igboho.   


To discerning minds, it is obvious that Igboho unlawfully invaded my privacy, bugged a private conversation and inappropriately used the same on several social media platforms.

“Before now, precisely in early March, the same people had bombarded the media space about my heritage. The same people had claimed I was of Tapa, Nupe extraction. In another breath, they alleged that I requested the sum of N20 billion from the organisers of the Yoruba Security Conference, held in Ile Ife, Osun state on 29 February, 2024.

“They followed up these dastardly acts by invading and intruding on my privacy. My legal team are presently working on all these.

“However, on the issue of my brother, Tayo Ayinde, let me make it clear here that I repeatedly said that whatever was said was a rumor that couldn’t be substantiated or made public. But for their sinister motives, it was Igboho that bugged my telephone, published and made it public.

“The picture has now become clearer that they resorted to the audio clip blackmail after they failed in their earlier attempt to rubbish my name.

“This was how they abused the Ooni of Ife, His imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi,the late Alaafin of Oyo,Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and other Yoruba Obas that had done well and contributed a lot to the development and progress of Yoruba.”

PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made another surprise statement on his forthcoming 72nd birthday coming up on March 29, 2024.

In a Press Release signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, Tinubu said he decided to cancel this year's birthday considering the mood of the nation.

He said he is saddened by the spate of insecurity across the country and gruesome murder of soldiers, policemen in addition to series of abductions in the north.

THREE ladies and a young man have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for faking their own kidnap and demanding Five Million Naira ransom.

This was made known by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin in a Press Release available to SOJ WORLDWIDE on Friday.

The suspect went ahead sending a fake video where two of them were held captive half naked.

"Detectives of the Lagos States Police Command have arrested Margret Itodo ‘f’ aged 25, Agnes Ogbeh ‘f’ aged 23, Esther Anyanwu ‘f’ aged 24 and Anthony Chinakwe ‘m’ aged 24 for faking the kidnap of Agnes Ogbeh.

On March 19, 2024, Agnes Ogbeh, resident in Akure, had travelled to Lagos and was reportedly kidnapped in Lagos. The family back in Akure received a video showing Agnes and one other tied, gagged, and groaning with blood droplets around them. The ‘kidnappers’ demanded the sum of Five Million Naira for the release of Agnes.

Upon receipt of the complaint, detectives of the Command commenced a discreet and diligent investigation into the matter. The hideout was located where Agnes, the other lady in the video and two others were found living freely together.

Further investigations revealed that Margaret Itodo is a professional make-up artist who was hired to make the video look real. All four have made confessional statements and are to be arraigned at the conclusion of investigation.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Adegoke Fayoade, mni while commending the detectives for a timely investigation calls on Lagosians to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity around them to the nearest security agency."
