Politics › Re: Arrest NDLEA Officers Who Worked With Kyari’s Accomplices, IGP Tells Marwa by Solababa91(m): 10:36pm On Feb 14, 2022 |
Kyari can't escape, even if he's jailed for this alleged crime, he would be picked up after serving the jail term. Remember he's on Interpol watch list. He can't have how goes in power forever, as long as he's not dead they'll come for him someday. seniormallam: This is how Kyari escaped been extradited to USA, its a game to keep him in Nigeria |
Politics › Re: Arrest NDLEA Officers Who Worked With Kyari’s Accomplices, IGP Tells Marwa by Solababa91(m): 10:27pm On Feb 14, 2022 |
Remember Kyari is allegedly on suspension, so I see him handling them to The NDLEA as kind of catching a "cheap glory" that he still possesses the intelligence of a good police officer, he wanted to please "two masters" - cash out from the alleged pushers by getting some of the substance as well as perform the duty of a good police officer. If he had handled the case without inviting The NDLEA which he could, he might not have been in this current mess. Badb0y4lyf: I'm telling you they would have bribed Kayari from the set go not after handing over to NDLEA. Them just dey use us dey catch trips Nigeria can never be good |
Politics › Re: Arrest NDLEA Officers Who Worked With Kyari’s Accomplices, IGP Tells Marwa by Solababa91(m): 10:11pm On Feb 14, 2022 |
The NPF should bury their heads in shame, how could an alleged "subsisting" suspended Police Officer lead a team of policemen to carry out an operation from Lagos to Enugu? On whose command did he carry out the operation? The NPF have not been sincere with the case of Abba Kyari. |

Even Wenger sold Song when it was becoming unbearable. If you are a passionate Arsenal fan you will realize the indiscipline Wenger tolerated speaks volumes on the pitch of play. Myself2: And to think that both players gelled well with Arsene Wenger. The truth is Arteta is a poor man manager. He is grouchy and temperamental, see the last PL game against Liverpool at A field, just a little touchline disagreement with Jürgen Klupp, then boom, Arteta started jumping in front of Klopp like a headless chicken as if he wanted to fight the man, forgetting that Klopp is way senior to him in age and in the coaching profession. You will recall that after that his two minutes of childish loss of temper, Arsenal fell apart and lost the game plan to the extent that the same Liverpool they were holding to a scoreless draw ended up beating them 4 nil |
Sports › Re: My Problem Was Only With Arteta – Aubameyang Opens Up On Arsenal Exit by Solababa91(m): 8:32am On Feb 04, 2022 |
The case of Arteta vs Auba is totally different from Tuchel vs Lukaku. Auba has been breaching disciplinary protocols repeatedly from coming late to training sessions even while preparing for a London derby as a captain, look at is this way, Arsenal is a team full of young players with potential if an experienced club captain keeps breaching rules, how do you handle the young players looking up to him who are the future of the club? For Lukaku, let him try it again if he won't be benched and sold outrightly. imrany20: Why is Arteta finding it too difficult to manage big names? I think his low self-esteem is affecting his role as a manager. Auba single handedly won him the FA cup. He refused to understand that we all came from a different background. He just can't handle a little misunderstanding with his players, take the Lukaku vs Tuchel as a case study. He allowed Auba leave without replacing him, I believe he's going to pay the price for that come the end of the season. He banished the likes of Ozil, Guebdozil, Saliva, Torera etc all in the name of indiscipline and now Auba. I see this as a self-destructive act bcoz he has shot his self on the leg already. |

I agree with you but the govt needs to be sincere and be ACCOUNTABLE, not running a public entity like a Sole proprietorship, there are some beneficial steps govt would have want to take but the populace kick against them because, they've failed them times without number, hence there is breech of trust. We've learnt in the past there is "SUBSIDY SCAM" Government have refused to let Nigerians know the real landing cost of fuel, let us know how much you're subsidizing, all we've hearing are all hear say. You now see where the problem lies? Like I said earlier Diesel and kerosene keeps increasing by the day, if our inevitable petrol" is made to tow same path, a year from now a liter of fuel may go as high as 500/ltr. Don't forget inflation rate keeps increasing with govt finding it increasingly difficult to pay salaries especially State govts due to their selfish interests (Yes, when you go through budget proposals you undestand why I said it's due to their selfish interests) backbencher: Well, all in all, if the refineries are privatized, and subsidy is removed so that they make money from the profits they make, not the subsides they get, then I guess we would have running refineries.
The problem with subsidy really is that the source of money from subsidy is from crude oil revenue, which is never stable, and never sufficient.
Subsides also prevent profits being made....especially since the subsidized price is less than the cost of production per liter...subsidy is supposed to cover the difference. That's how we lost our refineries. In the good old days, we subsidized fuel, but kept the price above the cost of production. Then in the late 1980's, the subsidized price went below the cost of production, funding for salaries started coming from government money, and here we are.
I think that subsidy should go, and the refineries should be allowed to sell fuel at a price that guarantees them a profit, as well as the marketers. Yes, we would pay high prices for fuel, but there would be enough profit for maintenance, expansion, salaries, etc etc...and government need not spend money on subventions and subsidies. |
Politics › Re: FG Postpones Fuel Subsidy Removal Till Further Notice by Solababa91(m): 5:28pm On Jan 24, 2022 |
If you really think the reason for removing petrol subsidy is to put our refineries in good shape, then you may not REALLY be a Nigerian. What effect has the money made from kerosene and diesel subsidy removal made on our refineries? None. Please find out the last production date of our best refinery (Kaduna), close to ten years. And to think NNPC workers are still being paid for a non productive venture still beats my imagination. Straight to the fact, our refineries are all outdated. Government should stop deceiving the populace, maintaining them would be disastrous economically. Sell them to private companies that can maintain them. Like they say, government has no business in business. backbencher: This is without doubt, a very wrong decision, and one that would push us into more debt and make it difficult for us to meet our fiscal needs and make our refineries profitable and working again
We have decided to feed the subsidy monster. And if we are not careful, we will end up being more and more like Venezuela
Wrong decision, but then again, hey, its' APC.... |
Politics › Re: FG Postpones Fuel Subsidy Removal Till Further Notice by Solababa91(m): 5:15pm On Jan 24, 2022 |
When they removed subsidy on Diesel we were told the price would be controlled by market forces. Ever since then the price keeps skyrocketing by the day, in fact the present price of Diesel is double it's price Jan last year, Kerosene is no longer for a common man, add petrol to it and make life more unbearable to a common man. The way Nigeria economy works defies a lot of economic principles, no thanks to economic saboteurs here and there. |

ThinkSmarter: Kumuyi is stylishly changing some of the archaic principles, so that his members won't wallow in self inflicted bondage when he is gone in the name of not living a worldly life. The same message he passed when he flew in a private jet and cruised in a luxurious car, couple of months ago. Guess what! Kumuyi have realised that some of the principles he propounded long time ago were awkward and can misguide many if not corrected before dies. The idea of will of God wife or husband have made some ladies to wait sotey their pubic hair turns white lol I agree with you in all but the "will of God" in marriage. The issue of marriage is a personal issue, ask the sister that has been waiting what kept her waiting, if she's waiting on God ideally, God would have revealed his plans for her. If she can't wait anymore then she can go get herself her husband anywhere. But to say people remain an absolute spinster or bachelor because of waiting on God's will is totally incorrect. Please get it "will of God" in marriage is not totally same as marrying in a Deeper Life Church. |

Yes she can. It's a matter of choice. If the intending couple want to be joined by Deeper Life then they must follow the marriage committee guidelines, if they don't, they could go marry elsewhere. |

Dear Prince Dele, expect more changes in the Church as it is a sign that the Holy Spirit (A Teacher, guide and instructor) is still present in the Church. If God who owns the church decide to make modification through his servant, who is Kumuyi not to obey (... for we ought to obey God rather than men). I want to also applaud Pstr Dr Kumuyi for not being rigid in things other than holiness. Lastly I want to believe his strict stand on some of the Church doctrines like in the area of marriage, dressing and lots is due to his background in The Scripture Union. All in all the Church have not derailed. |

seunmsg: Twitter will open an office in Nigeria and employ Nigerians. Twitter will pay taxes to the FG from income generated in Nigeria. Twitter will comply with Nigeria’s law as it relates to content that promotes national peace and unity only. Divisive contents the type of which led to the Endsars destruction will no longer be tolerated.
So, how’s this not a win for Nigeria? No Twitter info on CAC website, no physical office in Nigeria. Please you can do better than these, we are all Nigerians and we know the govt has an ulterior motive to unbanning twitterng. |

Big headed arteta in his short career, fighting all players
Saliba guendozi AmN Pepe, now Auba
Arteta out This is football (business) the days of rewarding loyalty without performance on the pitch just like Wengers' Arsenal is gone. The big boys all over Europe love to play the best legs. If Arsenal wants to return to the league of 'big boys' then the needful need to be done. Aubamenyang have single handedly won matches and trophies for Arsenal, if he's not doing that anylonger why retain him? |
