ceaser:I hail thee. You quite grounded on this. Well I have already put all you said into consideration. I have learned so much in practice. 9 months counting and its working perfectly for me. I am looking to increasing my battery capacity and solar panels. DC wiring has made live wonderful for me. I just wasn't ready to spend so much on inverter, battery etal. The DC journey has been rewarding so far. |
Donsco:The truth is that the solar concept is still new. Most installers are poo. The solar technology is an ungoing one. You need to constantly update your knowledge and have a thorough fundamental of physics. |
I would like to propose an optimized use for solar installations especially for personal home use. This idea is not entirely new, and most solar packages offer these solutions in some ways. Its all about going the DC way. That's the same reason mtn solar gives 2 DC light, Azuri gives about 4 plus a dc tv. Using dc appliances improves solar power efficiency incredibly. Hence there is no need for lots of power adapters we all have around the house as these adapters greatly decrease the battery and inverter efficiencies. Hence to get optimum use of battery life, my advice is to run purely on DC gadgets as they are becoming quite popular in the market currently. Your bulbs, security lights, TV, fan, even refrigerator can run all on DC. I am currently off-grid and run all my lights, fan,tv, phone charging on DC. |
@eleojo23, reading from page 1? Well I'll see about that. Never knew this thread existed. Well kudos to you all. |
eleojo23:thanks,let me do the needful and check |
So far, the basic truth that stands out is that many nigerians need power but want to get it as cheap as possible. That's not an easy task either. For over Eight months now, I have have lived absolutely on DC lightening 24Hrs, can effectively charge my phones 24Hrs, 12hrs usage of a dc fan and run other moderately powered appliances for 3-4Hrs a day and the system still works. All for not more than 100k. To achieve this, just think more on DC power usage and high power management especially if you are off-grid like me. Those around you would never understand how come but its simple science. |
This is one of the longest thread I have seen on nairaland with regards to Solar Energy. People, think deep and out of the box too. For me, the OP tried with his so called "investigation". But leaves some question unanswered. It might be too early to draw a conclusion. 1). Why would a supermarket/mall write a notice with ink and paper. 2) Who did they report to about the incident? 3) Do they have video footage of the said robbery? 4) Ask the locals if really they don't sell to Nigerians. The above questions should help reach a logical conclusion. Its a two way thing. But really, if they really dont sell to Nigerians, there is no big deal, its private property. I rest my case. |
OK. I will get in touch soon |
rearone1:Oau celebrating cultist? you must be joking. total abhorrence. |
greatest ife. most likely option is that they stole. its still better than aluu 4. happens all the time. |
Petfreak:I agree with you. Bobbysaxy has clearly stated he will not show the documents until after negociation and payment. obviously there is something fishy. |
whao. am beginning to get all this. Guys, read in between the lines. Bobbysaxy is more like a marketer, I don't see him being passionate about breeding. he seems to scout for breeds and likely resell. his pictures are usually photoshoped to make them look alluring. As per st Bernard or no st Bernard. he likely just used the picture as a symbol of what he has. So pls move on and forget this happened. Save urself the stress. |
Its just too bad. Nigerian youths are digging their own graves themselves. There is nothing better than being honest and a man of integrity. Imagine, I wanted to buy 2 pups(male and female).I almost got them from the same breed but the seller(Bountydog) adviced me not to do so. Of course I forgot. thats what am talking about. |
see people. dont ever comment on issues without thinking or based on mere sentiments. Only a fool will do that. |
SEE COMMENTS, IT SHOWS HOW MORALLY BANKRUPT MOST OF OUR YOUTHS ARE. VIRGINITY, WHETHER BEING A MALE OR A FEMALE IS A TREASURE. THOSE WHO LOST THEIRS BEFORE MARRIAGE USUALLY WISH THE NEVER DID. THEY REGRET IT DEEP DOWN INSIDE. THATS ONE OF THE REASON FOR MANY FAILED MARRIAGES. |
what can i say than lip sealed. Hmmmmm!!!! |
hmm. na wao. frontpage things asap.habds crossed. |
i am neutral when it comes to politics. but if this is true. ah!!!!!!!!!!.!!!!!!! Chaos is gradually building up. front page o. lets dispell the rumors o. |
haaaa most likely a scam. maybe u got an sms alert. and u think there was actually a deposit. na lie. as long as you have not withdrawn the money. they should effect the change asap. they want to maga u. how can first bank want to deposit into union bank or so. pure fraud. no money was deposited to ur acct. |
100Cents:dont politicize issues. ABIA, A PDP STATE IS WORSE THAN LAGOS. I SAW HELL DRIVING A BUS THERE. A VERY LAWLESS STATE. YOU JUST DONT DRIVE A BUS AS A PRIVATE CAR. OR CARRY GOODS IN YOUR CAR. AGBERO FULL THERE. TICKETS EVERY WHERE, DIFFERENT TICKETS FOR THE STATE AND THE CAPITAL. I LIVED IN UMUAHIA FOR YEARS AND FREQUENT ABIA WELLA. |
Baba is very correct |
