All I got was admission letters from NAPTIN stating August 4th. As it stands, when are we reporting, 1st or 4th? |
Please what is the address of the IKEDC office where we are supposed to collect our offer letters? |
sholatech: Sure, personal income tax calculation is the same nationwideOk. Thanks. |
Hi, I want to know if employees in every state in Nigeria pay the same rate of income tax, and possibly, how is income tax now calculated following amendments in 2011? |
(For those coming from outside Lagos) Guys, let's share ideas on how to get around the whole accommodation thing... |

For the record, Mr. Yomi resent his e-mail from his ikedc.com account. |
THE MAIL: Dear XXXXXXXX Congratulation, you are successful in the recent interview process for the SAHARA POWER GRADUATE ENGINEERING PROGRAMME and have been selected for Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC). You are expected to undergo a twelve (12) months training programme that will commence on August 1st, 2014. During this period you are expected to be based in Lagos to attend the training programme in Surulere, Lagos Nigeria. Kindly reconfirm your mailing address, in the event your contact details may have changed from that indicated on the CV you submitted with your application. We will utilize this information to send a written offer letter to you with other additional information. Once again accept our congratulations. Yours sincerely, Yomi XXXXXXX |
Received an e-mail from the Yahoo.com account of that same Yomi guy who phoned me. It's all looking so unprofessional I don't know what to make of it. What do you think guys, is it a scam?? |
Has anyone received any phone calls? I just got a phone call from somebody explaining to me that I have been selected for IKEDC, and not the Egbin that I applied for.... Other info I got from the call: 1. Training commences 1st August in Surulere, Lagos. 2. They will not provide accommodation but will assist trainees in securing accommodation... |
@eManuel: It was quite a relaxed affair, though there were some tense portions right at the start when I was being queried about my CV but later on I found them a jovial lot (except the lady she was still busy perusing my CV.) I'm hopeful. It is well. |
Dr.eManuel:Hmmm 'esoteric.' Big word. Anyway, back to Sahara. People who have been interviewed are not talking much 'coz they know there isn't any real pattern to the interview. They just probe each person based on the areas in which they are unsure about him or her. |
As for the recharge card one I'm a huge culprit. But I tend to do it more confidently when I am buying large amounts for a data plan or when sending to my mom or girlfriend but when I am buying N200 for myself, omor when I pull up I am politeness personified. Tail between legs ish lol |
