Please any advice for me?

Please i need advice from you guys. Please i want to apply for austraila college, TAFE, and currently i am 24 yrs old. Currently living in ukraine i dont live in nigeria.
With my age is it adviceble to apply for TAFE colleges? Note i dont have any bsc degree before, i only have waec with my first year university transcript. Because i am currently studying here, i am in my second year, But i want to move to australia and study by feburary 2022.

1) with my age will i find it difficult to get visa with TAFE COE?

2) secondly, i want to act as a self sponsor, if i present my own bank statement with funds of AUD30,000 will it be enough?

The course i am planning for is 2 yrs in automative mechanic, and the tuition fee for the two yrs combine is AUD26,000.

Please guys i need your advice.
Your age should not be an issue if you can demonstrate what you've been doing since graduating from high school and why you're interested in the TAFE programme.

30000 AUD is a paltry sum for self-support; how are you going to cover airline tickets, accomodation, and other expenses?

Please house,my sister has a degree (2.2) in human physiology way back in 2012..2.61 cgpa, could you advice what is the best university she can apply to study for her masters in physiotherapy in Australia, she wants a university that will give her full scholarship and where she will work while studying..she Intends to start applications now and in 2022..thanks
Sorry to disappoint you, haha. Australia does not provide scholarships for Bsc or Msc degrees; instead, it offers discounts on school fees.

Good day everyone. Been a silent reader, congratulations to all whose visa has been granted.

I have a friend who currently applied to one of the AL1 Uni for a master in Australia. Her husband is her sponsor and his funds are majorly in crypto ( he’s a crypto investor and that’s what he does full time) According to her, her husband has enough to see her through school but he doesn’t keep money in bank. I advised they could liquidate and credit his Naira account then explain in their LOE the reason for lump sum deposit.

Thins is in regards to the statement of account required by school. I don’t know if I’m right, thought I should hear from the gurus so I don’t give a wrong advice.
You are good to go if you can show proof of the lump sum deposit.

Please i have a few questions to ask.

How much does tuition fees cost for Masters student in a public school?

Also, i learnt their weather is as hot as Nigeria's own. Is that true?

Lastly, what is life after school like? Are there jobs for people who want to stay back and work?
Over 11million Naira per year or Over A$30000 per year

Hot during Summer and cold during winter it’s 7 degrees right now

The first course is Tourism, Environmental and Cultural Heritage. I actually planned changing to Social Work from this if I eventually travel with this cos I was initially scared of applying for visa with my Social Work offer that came with a bridging course.

My school told me that I must be on campus for Social Work as it's not offered online and that's good for me cos I really don't want to do online study.

Since things are pointing to next year, I'll just wait and stick to my Social Work.
I was informed that the bridging course won't affect my chances as I was earlier worried/scared, so I'll just respect myself and endure with beliefs that it's for the best...
Don’t waste your time and money Go for social work

Is it possible to do Masters in Nursing without doing BSN? She did Microbiology.
Yes in some Universities but not every Uni will accept MSc straight

She should try Masters in Nursing (coursework not research)
Nursing course is expensive so expect to pay a minimum of $10k per semester (I don't know if it has increased)
Check for schools online, their tuition fee is normally displayed on the website.
* At least A$15000 per semester

Okay...

Are you saying that I cannot change to Social Work in UTAS when I arrive?

I'll get my drivers license, I'm on the process already.

Thanks a lot...
It is preferable you read the UTAS course change strategy/policy

In my university, you can only change after completing one semester, and changing/transferring to another university/course is not easy; you must meet certain requirements.

Any hope with the border status?
I'm lost on what next to do. I've accepted my offer at UTAS and deferred to July but I'm still waiting for the confirmation.
Is it advisable to pay for fees when I get the confirmation and proceed with visa application with the way things are at the moment?

Thanks Fam...
Yes go ahead accept the offer and apply for your visa

Damn!

IELTS is not compulsory for a study visa application and also important to note, it's not also compulsory for Pr visa application and assessment, in as much as the applicant for the Pr visa/assessment studied for at least 2yrs and graduated from an Australian uni.

IELTS is only needed to boost Pr score for onshore applicants.

So please don't raise people stress level up base on no or expired IELTS for their study visa application!

Personally, I'll advise anyone that is yet to apply for admission to channel their strength towards other countries cause had it been I know, I used the bulk of my time and resources on Australia study visa to the USA study visa by reading and writing TOEFL, Sats and GRE, things would have turned out well(full/partial scholarship) and I won't have to spend my money on Australia tution fees but I applied to Australia because of the straightforward path way to earn my Pr and become a citizen.

Now, all offshore Intl students are stocked in a loop due to the uncertainties and indecisiveness of the OZ government.

The painful part is the Time value of money, my money Is stocked and I am becoming poorer cause I would have earn at least 80% interest/profit/dividends of that money last year with the explosive growth of btc and some other stocks.

Presently, what's more painful is, I can't take calculated risk with my money that's not with Australia sch because no one knows how soon the boarder will be open.

Mehn, the situation is messed up! After requesting for deferment, my annoying school sent me a new offer letter with lncrement in my full tution fee without consideration of the time value of my money.

As in how will an entity or sch hold my money for more than 6 months without yielding any form of interest/equity/profit/dividends and only for them to come up with tuition fee increment with a flimsy reason backing up that increment.

Omo, the frustration is real but, All is well!! and I wish I read Law cause I would have served that uni and Australia government a subpoena and we meet in court.
Hahahah where did you get all these informations from ? Anyway I wish you all the best

At first I wanted to back up my points but after you said “study at least 2yrs and graduated from an Australian uni” I see no point agreeing with you

Yes your agent is right

However, a set of changes and initiatives are being considered by the Department to support international students in and outside Australia.

Today, 20th July 2020 acting Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs Alan Tudge and the Minister for Education, Hon Dan Thean, have released a media statement which includes five key student visa changes to support international students who may have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

These changes include:

Restart granting student visas in all locations lodged outside Australia: This means that once the Australian borders re-open, international students who have been granted student visas offshore will be ready to make arrangements to travel to Australia
Free of charge student visa applications: International students who are unable to complete their studies within their original visa validity due to COVID-19 will be able to lodge a further student visa application free of charge.
Online Study and Post-study work visas: Current offshore student visa holders studying online due to COVID-19 will be able to use that online study to count towards the Australian study requirement for a post-study work visa.
Post-study work visa offshore applications: Graduates who held a student visa will be eligible to apply for a post-study work visa offshore if they are unable to return to Australia due to COVID-19.
English language requirement: Additional time will be given for candidates to provide English language results where COVID-19 has disrupted access to these services.
The above initiatives will require changes in current legislation which have not yet been released.

These changes aim to support international students and the Australian education sector in this unprecedented time. Today’s announcement by the Government is also a recognition of the contribution and importance of international students to Australia’s economy.
