Good day guys. Please, I'll like to know if it's possible to get an Australian student visa if someone whom you are not related to is willing to cater your tuition and living expense, but not willing to transfer the funds to your parents' account. What are the chances?
What’s the relationship between you and the sponsor?

Will a sponsor SOA of 50kAUD be enough as proof of funds? The only prove of relationship am able to get is a notarize affidavit of support and a picture of him attending an educational event of mine to shows his support. Am I good to go please? What will you advice? I beckon on anyone who could help with their wealth of experience.

@ Joan : Please i got some one advising me on another fora , that studying MSC. Finance would not help my quest for PR.

Could you she more light pls..

There is still demand from the Australian Immigration 2020 program for Chartered Financial and Management Accountants.

It’s not an easy process and the Accountant Occupation Code has been repeatedly flagged for removal from the Skilled Occupations List.

The Accounting Immigration 2020 codes are red flagged for removal due to myriad contributing factors:

Competition is high for Accountants moving to Australia under any of the Permanent Residency Immigration Visas.

Combine this with a recent strong accounting immigration program over the past few years, as well as a slight drop in domestic demand and the reasons for the Accountant 2020 Red Flag become evident.

It is difficult to state with any degree of certainty how long the Accountant Code will remain on the Skilled Occupations List

1. I know is not that cheap but schools varies we have expensive and less expensives ones ( I don't mind recommending less expensive
Ones)
2. Planning to study masters in business administration or human resources
3. That is where the confusion is.......... I don't know if any of the universities can accept HND for masters direct or I need to top up my HND cert to qualify for masters like PGD or so
4. Can you play explain more on that sir
Waiting for response
Thank you sir and God bless
1. I don’t know any less expensive Uni in Australia

2. Have you checked if these courses will lead to PR after completion?

3. Contact all these Universities representatives the so called agents here and ask them they should have the best answer for you

4. If you study in regional area you get 3 years post study visa, 5 points more to the 65 required check google for the new metro and regional area list

Most locations of Australia outside major cities (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane) are classed as designated regional areas for migration purposes.

Softkey:
Garri, yam flour, grounded dried pepper, grounded crayfish, grounded melon, dried fish, maggi, dried locust beans.
I think those are the basic things, every other things can be bought here easily. The listed foods can also be bought here but might be a bit expensive for new comers.
Note: Avoid grains and liquids (it would be seized).
Buy Maggi! Maggi!! Maggi!!! If possible a box

It’s so expensive here 1 sachet is from $15 -20

I have been given admission already for masters program by the university, paid part of the tution fee and currently processing VISA.
I was just asking because of a post advising people to do english test to avoid spending upto 4,000 AUD on test over there.
Write the exam now 6.5 overall shouldn’t be hard to get so far you understand English and you can read and write it

Rent in regional areas are very cheap compared to the city.
Someone I know pays $70 per week as rent in Newcastle, while I pay higher in Burwood.

Jobs:
I can't say for certain if non-regional areas have more jobs than regional areas. Although Population can be a discerning factor.

Cost of Living.
Know your stomach, budget your feeding in a month and try to cut down on unnecessary expenses. Bring lots of food from Naija so that you won't spend on feeding for more than 6 months.
Don't get addicted to brioche loaf like me cry
$70 in Newcastle embarassed

I think the offer should take care of my upkeep.
