Please between university of Adelaide and Griffith, which is a better choice?
Personally, I'd choose Adelaide because it's in a regional area, which means you'll have a three-year post-study visa and they give preference to students who graduate from regional universities when it comes to sponsorship for permanent residence.

Good day all,
I am about applying to SCU in perth for masters for October intake,
I'm trying to see the end from the beginning and I need advice.
1. If I and family are granted together, can I go ahead of them?
2. If wiffy born in Nigeria after visa is granted, how will I add new baby to Visa?
3. Abeg, how much is daycare in Aussie, the prices online are confusing me.
4. Can my wife go to sch as a dependant?
5. Perth gives 3yrs post study visa as regional area right?
Thank you
1. Yes, you may enter ahead of them.
2. I'm not sure about this, but I would suggest you inform them now that your wife is pregnant so that when the time comes to add the kid to your application, you won't run into any issues.
3.over $100 per day
4.
5. Indeed. Cities and Major Regional Centres’ of Perth, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Canberra, Newcastle/Lake Macquarie, Wollongong/Illawarra, Geelong and Hobart have access to the following regional incentives:

Thank you for your input.

But if I prepare a very good application, will I still be refused?

Unlike Canada which has a low approval rate even if one ticks all the box, what is the approval rate for an Australian Study Visa?

Why did you choose Federation Uni?

Why are you willing to take such a significant risk with your money?

Why would you want to cause yourself unnecessary stress?

Good evening everyone. Good job you guys are doing.

I secured an admission to study MPH at the Federation University for July.

The issue is that their refund policy if one is refused a study visa states that FedUni only does partial refund!!!

That's scary.

NOTE: My sponsors are quite stable financially but I have a poor immigration history (Refused UK, Canada and US visas. Lol.)

Please help.

Apply to another Uni

Been following this thread for a while now, make i ask abeg, can a 33 years old married man who has OND in Accounting, apply to study in Australia . He has around 10m
Because of these factors, your odds of success are small. Your degree in accounting is not in high demand; in order to be considered, you must have more than 95 points. Additionally, your OND is equivalent to a cert4 or diploma level in this country, and the final consideration is your age.

Can I renew my passport while in Australia or should I do it in Nigeria before travelling. It expires few months before end of my course
Yes, you can renew your passport while you are here in Australia. You will make your payment on the Nigeria Immigration website, and then you will travel to the embassy in Canberra to complete the data collection process.

Hello gurus, I need some pieces of advice.

I paid my tuition via WU globlapay, WU confirmed receipt and equally statted that they've forwarded payment to school. Medibank (OSHC) sent a mail to inform me of my policy (I paid through school) but school is yet to issue CoE. Is this normal?

The policy certificate of my OSHC says it started on 21/01/2022 even when I've not applied for Visa? Does this mean the insurance is already active and rolling down?

I'm an ECU applicant. With the continued ban on WA borders, my agent asked that we proceed with Visa application, is this in my interest or are they rushing me to commit simply for their own gain?
Advise me please.
Please contact the school and enquire as to why your COE is not available yet.

Your OSHC commences on the day you arrived in Australia.

They're wanting their commission, but you should still apply for a visa now because it takes time to get approved.

Western Australia intends to open its borders once more than 80% of the population has had a booster shot grin grin

What is Enrolled Nursing? Can one without science background but with Msc in other discipline be admitted into it?
Enrolled Nursing is merely a diploma in nursing that is under AQF level 5, whereas Masters is under AQF level 9, which is the top level.

The Australian Department of Home Affairs has issued a warning to student visa holders who wish to change their primary subject of study. "If you change your main course of study to a lower Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level and do not apply for a new Student visa, you run the risk of having your visa cancelled," according to the Department.

It is necessary for the student to remain enrolled at the same or higher course level in order to avoid a violation of the 8202 condition of the visa. Course enrolment, level, progress, and attendance are all conditions that must be met by the student in order to fulfil the condition. The violation may result in the cancellation of the visa.

It is common for students to need a new student visa if they are switching from their primary course of study to a lower AQF level course or to a non-AQF course, even if they are staying with the same education provider.

When a student changes course from a Doctoral degree (AQF level 10) to a Masters degree (AQF level 9), however, a new visa does not need to be obtained.

I'll appreciate response to my inquiries....

I once had a rejection in 2018 in Australia due to shortage of funds in my sponsors account, I want to apply again this month, are my chances of securing admission/Visa high or low due to that reason.

Which one is best advice between PFL or BCIE to use as agent?

Please @solitin40
First and foremost, do you have sufficient evidence to present this time around?

If you want to go to university this time around, you'll need money, so as long as you can show documentation of financial support, you should be able to get in.

Please gurus in the house, is it possible for someone who is currently in Aussie and who has a degree unrelated to nursing to study masters in Nursing by doing something like a bridging course?

I had a discussion with someone and the person said its possible and that some persons take that route towards a PR.
I just want to confirm.

Responses needed urgently.

This journey to Australia is a three-step ponzi scheme/use and dump strategy, so bear with me as I explain. You, the agent in Nigeria, and the Australian government/university are all involved.

The agent is chasing your money, specifically the consultation charge (above #150000) and the commission they receive. They are not there to help you; they are marketers selling a product. However, you must be smart in order to use them effectively and don't forget to conduct your own research. Agents will not inform you of the best course or location, they will simply tell you the nice things you want to hear. They are waiting for you to pay the fees and the school deposit.

The UNI/government these people also want your money; they will almost certainly admit you to courses that will not allow you to get PR at the end of the day, but they will also admit you to courses that will provide you PR as long as you pay. Education is one of the country's main sources of cash, so use your head instead of allowing them to utilise you.

Now, imagine you've spent thousands of dollars studying a meaningless course like accounting in a high-demand location like Sydney, and your age isn't working in your favour. What's your reward if you don't get PR? The two merely played you and used you, but if you obtain the PR after three years, you three will both use and dump each other, so be prepared before coming here and be wise GOODLUCK

@Solitin40, @NB1912, @bligs and other senior colleagues here please what's the chances of visa approval for someone coming in with Hnd degree or 3rd class degree.
Will appreciate your suggestions.

Regards to finance:

1. How many month statement of account is needed?
2. The listed AL1 Universities does it mean when applying for visa Account statement are not added during the process since GTE from the university was passed?
Indeed, you have a chance. You can be offered a 'packaged programme,' which entails six months of pre-masters work
You require at least three months. Bank Account Statements

Nigeria is a high-risk country; therefore, your SOA should be prepared. Even if you sent the SOA with your visa application, there is a risk that they would require it again when they are near to reaching a decision.

Universities in New South Wales and Victoria should not be your top choice. Tasmania and South Australia, for example, give priority to their graduates.

Please are there chances of admission to any school in Australia for post graduate studies with IELTS score of 6.0 overall and 5.5 in reading, writing and listening, and 7.0 in speaking
Actually, it depends on the school and course you wish to attend, but I believe that a minimum of 5.5 should suffice.

Good evening house.
I am new here.
Please I need help I recently got an offer from University of Tasmania Australia and my uncle that based in US is the one to pay for all my study and living expenses in Australia, my question now is will they accept my maternal uncle as my sponsor we don't have the same surname? Second question apart from my uncle bank statements is there any documents that required from him as my sponsor
A letter explaining why he wishes to sponsor you, as well as how you intend to establish the relationship between you and your uncle. In plain terms, how can you demonstrate to the immigration officer that he is your uncle? Best of luck
