Yes the old naira notes don't remain a legal tender in Nigeria anymore but why is the new naira note which is now the legal tender in the country not in circulation?
I left Nigeria late January only to see booming stories on Naira scarcity.I can even see that some Nigerians are in support of this, claiming it would stop vote buying of a particular presidential candidate.Some Nigerians are suffering and happy because of the Naira scarcity.
Now what if that presidential candidate wins after the Naira scarcity issue.
The Nigerian government are playing games with the well being of over 200 million people and some people are happy about it?

The old naira notes would stay even after election.Emefiele is just using useless strategies to stop Tinubu from winning because of vote buying. If you check well,Peter Obi is in support of this,telling Nigerians to bare with the federal government.
Emefiele has now come out to say there are no papers to print the new notes knowing fully well that the strategy is not working in is favour gradually
