It seems ACN has become too complacent. They prolly think they have lagos locked down. I see PDP giving them a rude awakening in 2015. |
CFCfan: After some self abnegation and immolation, I have come to the conclusion that Senator Oluremi Tinubu is the best person to occupy the Lagos state Governor's seat, come May 29, 2015.how do you know she has the political skill when she rarely contributes to arguements/discussions at the senate. What is her political antecedents? What does she have to sell to the electorate? Is she not one of those politicians riding on the backs of god-fathers? What has she done to deserve the governorship position.? So much for 'progressives'. |
enyice: i was told lagos is the smallest state in terms of landmass.don't let ACN propagandists hear you. |
Atleast we are withnessing a cleansing by this present govt. There is no iota of fear,or favour for party faithfuls. FRESH AIR!!! |
earthgreeners: Housefly, the thread is about LASG constructing Federal roads and the FG's refusal to pay up money spent on these road after it has been certified ok by the FG engineers....was there anytime the FG said they won't pay? |
geeez: [b]And the same FG couldn't guarantee LASG's $600m (N60bn) World Bank loan which the LASG never even defaulted in its obligations in the first tranche?whatever the SW bar lagos (which is Nigeria's economic capital)contributes to the centre is almost insignificant when compared to the SS and even the SE. If anyone needs Autonomy to move forward, then it should be the SS/SE. |
earthgreeners: The above post got me laughing..Is that the best you can do? ACN goon. |
Yomieluv: The impact of Lagos state on development would have been felt more,if FG contributed its quota to the development. Even at that,Lagos state remains the pride of Africa.FG does not contribute its quota, yet it has; 1)Upgraded the ports in lagos, while abandoning ports in other parts of the country. 2)Ensured that lagos have the second highest federal allocation in the country. 3)it has consistently paid lagos its allocation without fail(at least under GEJ) 4)It has always favoured the movement of foreign investments to lagos,at the detriments of other states. 5)it has ensured that the bulk of Nigeria's power is available to lagos to aid industries and companies. 6)it has signed various MOUs with lagos state govt to ensure smooth interplay between both parties and to aid trade and investments. 7)The FG is about to start oil-drilling in lagos next year, which would massively increase lagos revenues. Infact, the FG(under GEJ) has favoured lagos state at the detriment of other viable states. |
PortHarcourtBoy: Una say na "Mathematics" thread meanwhile all of una dey speak "English"we dey here o. But it looks like this thread is for pure mathematians and statisticians. |
olasesi: Naaaaaa. 6.2 was approximated to 6...,...well,that is the beauty of mathematics. You try and find a way to suit the equation. 6~=6.2. Besides, even if 6.2 is used the difference in the answer gotten is negligible. |
Ehinafe: Richiez:dynamic and programming mathematical algorithm are for those studying mathematics as a course on it own. Though,it's very intriguing, and looks superior to the logarithmic method. |
olasesi: It is very essential to understand the meaning of "=" (equal to" ) in mathematics......yes you are correct. My bad. I tried solving it by loging the x and y individually, and it was wrong. Log(x+y)=correct. |
olasesi: Naaaaa its.the samethe answer obeyed the equation. X+y=5 2+3=5. X^x+y^y=31 2^2+3^3=31 (equation proved) |
paranorman: Real gurus here... Wonder where dem statisticians at? I wanna get practical.I dread statistics. That is one area of mathematics,i have not mastered. As far as am concerned, statisticians are the real mathematicians. |
olasesi: It is very essential to understand the meaning of "=" (equal to" ) in mathematics......That only applies when (x+y) is acting as a single variable, hence the bracket. In the question,x and y are different variables. |
x^x^x=log3 x^y^y=log8. Find x and y. |
olasesi: .........hmmmmmmmm.........To solve the above problem, you have to apply the laws of logarithm, since it involves exponential values. If logarithm is applied in the first equation, then it would also be applied in the second equation to create uniformity. X+Y=5,becomes logx+logy=5. x^x+y^y=31,becomes xlogx+ylogy=log31. |
1stknight: Bro pls I don 't understand how you got the fifth equation.The fifth equation follows the principle/laws of logarithm. E.g 1)logx +logy =logxy 2)alogx +blogy=ablogxy. 3)logx-logy=logx/logy |
@koruji guy,go and sit down. Instead of answering the question, you are shifting the goal post. What has fashola done with the funds? |
Omen100: The gospel truth is that, we southerners are not truthful to ourselves, we always blame the north for our own failures, even when the north have nothing to do with our present day misdeeds. We should hold our leaders accountable for all their actions, imagine a total of $100b has being paid between the last 12years to the niger-delta states & there is nothing to show for it, its only God that will punish any of us southerners that will point accusing fingers up north.you are a northerner, liar. @OP They have good roads and nothing else. No traffic,no industries, rampant curfews. Why won't the roads be good when it's not being used.? |
maclatunji: You are the uneducated one. Yes you are literate, but your education is not very high, this doesn't mean you didn't go to school- it could just be that you failed/refused to learn.I just don't know where to start in adressing your post? So you mean GEJ must know about every poster/bill-board in abuja? Are you being rational or unnecessarily biased. |
HNosegbe: Whether or not he is responsible for the posters, two things are clear:what part of his 'body language' suggests he will run again? Why give a dog a bad name to hang it? Besides,he is constitutionally empowered to run again,if he wants. |
Why are people here illiterates? The presidency just said it was not responsible for the posters. People are just looking for avenues to bash the president. |
CFCfan: Exactly. The FG and states should dedicate at least 55% of their budgets to the construction/maintenance of infrastructure, which would further open up more communities/cities to economic activity.True! They should also remember the military. Nigeria's economy is growing but the military is still deficient in modern hardwares. I don't see why the FG can't use 'just' $2bn from our foreign reserves to buy modern hardwares for the military, given the various security challenges in our country. They are only looking to embezzle. Smh. |
This governor makes uduaghan look like mitt-romney. That is how apalling T.ORJI is. |
CFCfan: Tinubu's influence in the ACN is still strong, especially in Lagos. The calculation is that in 2015, Fashola would either run for Senate or will be on a Presidential ticket. How long will we continue in the politics of god-fatherism? This is one of the things we accuse pdp of. For Nigeria to move forward,god-fatherism must go. People should win elections based on their antecedents and not because he/she is married or close to a god-fellow. |
CFCfan: Nigeria's GDP as at 2011 was $415bn, South Africa's own was $554bn also in the same year.Na wa o. The gap is huge. Well at 2012,the gap should not be more than $80bn-$100. Anything other than that is a failure on Nigeria's part. |
CFCfan: @solomon111 and shymexx: The Lagos and Nigeria GDP was rebased in September. According to Businessday, Lagos's GDP increased to over $55bn; while that of Johannesburg remained at $51bn.Really? That's impressive. Do you know the current overall Gdp of Nigeria,as compared to SA. |
CFCfan: I read somewhere that Lagos's current GDP is around $50bn.lagos is $40billion,jourhanesburg is $51 billion. Though i would like lagos to surpass them,at least to shut those arrogant south-africans up. |
OYINBOGOJU: Where are the Fashola haters....?stop speaking like a fool. 80,000 barells of oil compared to 150,000-200,000 barells in most niger-delta states is significant but nothing special. Maybe this would even free up the niger-delta,and reduce the rate of pollution and environmental degredation there. The FG should focus on new oil states, and allow the Niger-delta to fallow for the next 15 years. |
Actually OP, You made some minor mistakes in your write-up. 2013 is a year of hissing and shame for sinners. Olukoya never mentioned the devil there. |
