He is similar to Sallah in that they both aren't good against bus parking teams, except that Sallah can shoot and curl the bal,but Mane covers that area, maybe Soares can be our LW like Mane.
Btw, I'm seeing lots of potential formation from fans forcing Auba and laca , should they play, it is either Auba stays as CF or RW and never that LW.

..... The plan obviously is to get two good starting wingers. We have gotten the harder of the two because a quality left footed winger is hard to find in the market. I am convinced Soares is on Arsenal's radar and we might probably get next summer if we quality for the champions League.

..... Pepe will most likely be a starter and that will leave the right wing locked down. Auba doesn't play well on the left because he isn't good at cutting like a true winger. It will depend on Emery's formation but if he wants to go 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, he will most likely go with Iwobi/Mkhi - Auba - Pepe. Laca might be on the bench or behind the striker. I don't see Emery starting Laca - Pepe - Auba on the pitch at the same time often next season as the main attack, it won't work well practically.

.... Between Season 4 and season 5, the actress who played Alice Morgan aged significantly. Damn! It hurt to see her that way. Anyway, I am still waiting for the movie release. Yet to finish the wire, but Luther was Eldris Alba's best performance to me.

I'm getting to like this guy (Pepe) the more I watch his highlights. The boy is fast and he can dribble with his speed, too.

..... Oh yes, he will be devastating on the counter, something we love doing under Emery but where Zaha edges him is dribbling in tight spaces and this will come handy against teams who sit back. Pepe isn't very good in that area, even Iwobi betters him in that part of the game. And also he will need to adjust to the premier League. We all saw how Torreira and Guendouzi faded in the second half of the season, especially the former who was rather a liability on the pitch.

.... Well, one thing he will have is that the pressure won't be too much on him since our firepower is above average even without him. Let's see what happens though. He is actually a fantastic winger regardless.

.... Honestly, if a right back comes in, I am struggling to see how AMN will see games. Guendouzi, Willock, Mkhi, Ceballos and Iwobi are currently ahead of him in the pecking order. The guy loses concentration too much and there is no guarantee he won't do such in midfield. It's really disheartening.

.... Tierney and Alves are needed by all means even if we might not get a centre back.

.... I don't like this 4-4-2, it doesn't allow us press well and it is giving space for Lyon to do damage. I understand Guendouzi has been away but bringing Eddie for him isn't really working at the moment. Another midfielder has to come in for an attacker.

..... Emery is a 4 -2 -3 - 1 man, and he is close to achieving this formation, just remains Tiernay since Pepe is nearly done.

.... Iwobi/ Nelson and Mkhi will fight for that left wing until we get a proper winger there next season, perhaps Soares?

....But both Nelson and Iwobi have big issues with their final ball and Mkhi is hot and cold. Hence, why we might continue to see Lacazette and Auba in the line up but preferably it should be one striker at a time.

The back 4 has looked really good with Sok and Chambers as CBs.

..... Chambers starting ahead of Mustafi says a lot about Mustafi. I will be very worried if Sokratis gets injured, we will be in a huge mess.

This is a big season for Guen in my opinion and he has looked sharp especially when you consider this is his first preseason game. I would love to see better discipline with his positioning and field awareness because he has the intensity, energy and skills.
As for shooting, even Nelson looks like he needs help with that aspect.

.... Yes!! I love the fact that he is building on his strengths; his vision and perfect weigh of his passes. Totally unreal watching us play like this and Ceballos isn't in yet

.... It's weird how the young players have problems shooting, every single one of them including Eddie. I don't like it.

.... Common Guendouzi, stop waiting for whistle. He has to stop that habit.

... Oh, yes. I think it's the instruction from Emery. Guendouzi likes sitting deep and spraying those forward passes which he has been doing very well in this match since he has been given time to do that but Willock is so direct and that drive of his, damn! He gets into space and he shoots, no thinking, doesn't contemplate, he shoots but not very well yet, lol. It's something that's wrong with the young lads from Iwobi to Guendouzi and now Willock. The coaching team should look into it. Otherwise, he is quite the talent.

..... Guendouzi and Willock are really flowing together, very impressed with both kids so far. Guendouzi looking like he was never away.

...... Willock is bossing that midfield, Mehn at this rate, AMN can remain a right back. This kid is it !!!!
