..... It's inevitable, one of those useless strikers must and will go this summer. We need funds badly because even if we manage to sell ten players, getting 50m for them will be a miracle. Arsenal is filled with useless and worthless players from defense to midfield. Those strikers are our only assets and we must sell to compete for top four next season. ...Ozil is done. The day I see him in the first team again at Arsenal that's if he doesn't get dumped out of the club this summer will be the day I will stop watching Arsenal. I will simply move to another club. I can't stand that man anymore. Thank God, people are finally seeing the fraud that he is. Dude will play nonsense and then send Jerseys to kids in Africa to cover the fact that he is now a leach feeding Arsenal dry. Send him to the reserves should he refuse to leave, perhaps destroying what's left of his dignity will set his head straight. ....The other day, Anthony on Brilla said that Niles is not a player that should even be on the bench for Arsenal and I argued with him but yesterday he showed his true quality. I am ashamed of this team because even if most of the players are championship qualities, can't they fight? Why can't the captain walk up to Niles after his first mistake leading to goal and speak some encouraging words to him? The guy will just be looking like a dunch instead of encouraging the team. ..... Emery is right; we need fighters and everything must be done to get him players that will die on the pitch for the jersey. for the badge. for the fans, and not some sissies who were dominated by Christensen of all people. I see big changes coming and since Emery is on his second and last contract, he will be desperate. Heads will roll and egos will be crushed. No manager can survive with a team without a midfield or defense. No single ball recycler in midfield and not one winger who can take people on. Zaha or Ziyech should be top priority for us this summer. I don't want any Alexis Maurice here, we need proven players. .... I still can't believe I left Liverpool all those years ago to come support a club filled with sissies but no wahala, e go better. Fhalifa was right, Tottenham are a better run club than us presently. They would have done much better than we did yesterday. |
Airz:.... replied. |
Fkhalifa:... Honestly, it's too much especially Arsenal fans. Imagine some fans already saying Emery should be sacked. Players come and go, it's the club that stays. I just tire for some of us here. Some fans were threatening Xhaka's family after the Rennes game, Mustafi was abused because of his religion and Iwobi and Niles too because of their race. It's so unlike us before but things are changing. It's so bad especially on Twitter. |
Fkhalifa:....Bro, some outrageous things I read on here just stuns me. How could anyone hate Sanchez? He was our everything. He gave his best years at Arsenal and when he wanted to leave, it became a Battle. Let me go...No.. .... Sanchez was the best player we have had since Henry and someone wants to discredit him because of what, sentiments? The fact that he wants to move now even with a pay cut says a lot about him. I hope he finds form again where he goes. If we manage to get another scary winger like him again with the strikers in our possession, teams will really fear us. ...The funny thing is that some of these fans will defend a now useless Ozil with everything they have and insist he will come good when no one wants him but will mock Sanchez. Seriously, we have a very funny fanbase. |
Spy360:....RVP literally played for one season and then left after Wenger stuck by him with all his injuries. He scored goals alright but won nothing with us that season only to win the league with a rival team and his ridiculous celebration when he scored against us was plain disgusting. It's why Arsenal fans hate him because he left when we needed him the Most. I am very sure if he had stayed, he would have retired with us or taken a role like Mertesacker did but that won't happen now. .... Sanchez is a direct player and has never shown to work well with tiki taka, Wenger knew this, so him losing possession was going to a normal part of his game. Sanchez brought us back to life, we were winning trophies and if we had a better striker, we would have won the league with him. I don't hate him and I never will. Players are humans and when they see something isn't going for them, they want to leave. It's normal, dude was hungry for something bigger. Let him go but no Wenger was trying to force him to stay. It doesn't work that way. Money wasn't his initial motivation to leave, he wanted a bigger challenge but he wasn't allowed to leave. That was where the problem started. ...Call him a mercenary or anything, but Sanchez brought this fear factor in our team. He gave us his best and I will always remember him for that and his wonderful volley against Aston Villa at the F.A cup final. |
kokaneprodigy:.....Bench Warner just dey sweet you. Dude had a few injuries at Barca in his first season and struggled in his second. He broke out in his third season there, scoring 19 goals in la liga and 21 in all competitions. That was his best tally yet, ridiculous if he did that being a bench warmer. ....Wenger had nothing to do with Sanchez output at Arsenal. Sanchez was a very direct player, quite different from how Wenger team plays with tiki taka nonsense. Sanchez was a star abeg and still is else big teams like Juve won't be calling for him. Man United was the only anomaly. You don't like him, fine, but don't you say Wenger made him who he is, that's bullshittt. ... Honestly, some of the fans here sef ![]() |
kokaneprodigy:.....Peak Sanchez would have walked into any team in the premier league top four before his decline. Arsenal got him at the right time....E.O.D..... The man carried Arsenal on his back and delivered us countless times. His trouble in his last season and the next one were the seasons we missed out of UCL under Wenger. He was our Talisman until Auba came in. I hate seeing this post about him that Arsenal helped him nonsense blah blah. Honestly, it annoys me. ....For Ramsey and RVP, fine..... Arsenal did a lot for them and stuck with them but not Sanchez. Arsenal got him for a good price because he just didn't suit the way Barca Played and he gave us his all far, far above the price he was bought. He did more for Arsenal than the other way round and he would have gone for double the price he was bought if this club knew how to sell. It's annoying hearing this trend that Arsenal did this and that for a player. Others maybe but not Peak Sanchez. |
sod09:.... I don't think Madrid will pay for Auba after getting Jovic and Hazard, it won't happen. Only threat here is PSG and Tuchel. Meanwhile, Athletico going for Lacazette is very solid though and if any of our strikers will get sold, it's likely Laca. Let see how much our club value our top assets. .... Sanchez did very well for us and I will never hold it against him for leaving the way he did. He was a beast here and will be remembered for a long time. For willing to leave a team that didn't work for him is a very good attitude. He has my respect for that unlike someone in our club. |
.....Did I just see Llorente for Auba and whatever money It seems some of us don't know that we bought Auba because we weren't scoring enough goals after getting Lacazette. Sell Auba and we are back to square 1. Seriously, Llorente? Our club that is nothing to write home about without the strikers. It is well sha.... Meanwhile, Sanchez wants to move and two clubs are already interested. He is even looking to take a pay cut apparently but our own top Mercenary has decided against going under the guise that he loves the club. If Man United who are mega rich but very willing to get Sanchez out, then Arsenal must get Ozil out at all cost. If he refuses to leave, freeze his ass out like what is being done to Bale. If he has any dignity left, he will leave after that. |
ChristoBam:..... Please bro, tell me it's not true.....Kai, why did I ever start to watch this series sef That one no be ending....I don't even know what to call it. People are already signing petition for them to remake season 8, probably due to this nonsense ending. This is just awful, very uncharacteristic of HBO to end their series like this. .... This is just another Dexter signing out in the worst possible way. For my Aegon sake, I refuse to believe this. |
..... I just read the leaks for the final episode and my best reaction was to laugh. I don't want to believe it but the guy's leaks have been bloody accurate. I know this season has been "senseless" but D& won't stoop so low. The producers bragged that no one knows the ending of the series, not even the artistes themselves. I just want to believe that this leak is one of the many endings that was acted. Else, I will personally swear for D& for what they did to Aegon and Danny, and myself for buying into the hype. |
Dreamswayne:.... I never said that I don't like him, just that they are strange names, that's all. But then, what do I know? The coach knows what he wants. He already said that we need stronger and athletic players. Perhaps, Nkunku ticks those points. |
Dreamswayne:.....I still dont know what Wenger saw in Xhaka....a man known for getting technical players in midfield, even his dm had such attributes except Coquelin. Xhaka's signing is one of those mysteries in Wenger's reign that can't be explained. We go just manage am like that until we are ready to sell. Good thing he is on a long term contract now. |
Dreamswayne:.....Very true bro but Niles na time bomb for now... that guy losses the ball too much and sometimes have brain farts. You don't want a player like that in midfield against teams that will put us to the sword if that happens. Liverpool game at Anfield comes to mind where Torreira was pressured and couldn't handle it. I am sure he will be eased in that's if Emery wants him in midfield at all. His lackadaisical attitude when with the ball looks sexy sometimes but mostly it is very costly. Niles still has a lot to learn playing in midfield. |
sod09:..... , Bro, it's not only you jare. Emery has been all over this Nkunku guy since January.... I am sure he sees something we cannot see in him and the guy is a utility player too, can play several positions on the pitch. It's pretty useful when you have a limited transfer budget. Right now, we have to be smart with our buys...Known names like Xhaka and Mustafi have shown us pepper.... let's see how it turns. |
....... The 40m is the least and more will be added from UCL money and player sales and outgoing wages. Most of the revenues we make go into paying serious wages on useless players. We are on a self - sustained model and just like Liverpool, their transfer budget is more or less the same as yours but they know how to sell players for huge bucks which adds significantly to their transfer money. ... Barca too are on same model but they get bigger revenues from Commercials, sponsorships and all. We are not mates in that regard. So, let's see what happens this summer concerning player sales and most importantly, the final next week. That will go a long way to convince KSE to invest. Right now, there is little difference between this season and the last save for the final. We lost 70m or so and we will keep losing more until we return to the UCl, so any significant investment will come after that. ....Both PSG and Real Madrid want Auba who has improved significantly towards the end of the season. Also, should Athletico sell Grizzmann, they might make a serious bid for Lacazette again. This is becoming a nightmare. We must make UCL else it will become increasingly difficult to keep both strikers. Good strikers are difficult to find now in the market. Increasing their wages is a good start but we must get rid of Ozil, both strikers won't be Happy receiving 250k while another player who had only 2 assists all season gets about a hundred more than them. It's important for dressing room harmony. ....Emery is seriously looking at one black defender from Getafe who is under 6ft and Nkunku for our b2b. I don't know enough to condemn these two but it's most likely because of our budget that we are looking at them but then Emery himself has been to Getafe games a few times this season to check out this player. I am not excited about both players but there is little we can do. |
Magnifico2000:....Bro, calling him Jon Snow reminds me of how his character has been decimated by the writers. Aegon reminds me of what he truly is. But yeah, I get what you mean. |
oyetpel:.... Alright, I get you now bro. |
oyetpel:..... Jesus! Some people can argue. Oga, in that moment, Aegon's men didn't obey their commander. He was saying stop but they just kept passing him. That's the point here.... |
oyetpel:....Of course, when the deed was done and whole place was about to collapse...sure... but did they when he initially told them to? That's the issue here not after. |
richie10k:....Lol, I found it funny when Tyrion was like, , Call off your men when the bell rings. ....I was like --- what men? Aegon doesn't command the army of Dany, Jorah did and he is gone. Which was why no one listened to him when he was screaming stop, stop. Dude looked so lost and shocked at the savagery of humans. |
......Tyrion Lannister, perhaps the last one standing of them all. Quite strange. ...So Jamie just used Brienne and went to die in the arms of his own sister .....Kai, the guy no try oh.... Just saw the preview of the final episode. Where did those many soldiers come from ![]() .... I wonder if Aegon will have the guts to kill Arya after she likely kills Dany. Perhaps, he will do it himself or through dragon fire. ...Will Drogon allow Aegon mount him after the likely death of his mother? .... What about the drama that will ensue following Varys letters? ... Will the Dothraki and Unsullied follow the next ruler (likely Aegon) after the likely death of their queen or will they rebel? .... Dany still holds the cards here.... let's see though. ...Tiny, tiny things some of us here look at for since the season hasn't been on par with the rest. I hope the Aegon I know finally returns next episode. I want my Aegon back. |
DP84:....I don't remember quoting you. The person who mentioned me posted that the ratings were lies and I gave him proof. He also posted about people's expectations not going the way they wanted, hence the low ratings and fans whining which was why I replied that he doesn't know more than the people who down voted the episode. ....I lifted contents and I acknowledged the source. So? ....My main aim was to tell him about the truth of the ratings which he called lies. You already acknowledged that the ratings are quite low. E.O.D .....the epistle wasn't necessary. ....I am not glued or whatever you call it. I only watch the show because of Aegon, nothing else. When the guy called people whining fans, you didn't see that, yet you called me out for what's not even an insult. Baba, make I no vex for you oh. ![]() |
Gmajor:According to review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, 'The Bells' is the lowest-rated episode in the show's history to date, with a 50% score at time of writing. The site's own summary of the critics' consensus states that "too much plot in too little time muddles the story and may leave some viewers – and maybe Cersei – feeling its conclusions are a little unearned". ....Twitter is currently more ablaze than King's Landing, with many people also claiming that the showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss have 'ruined' the characters of Daenerys Targaryen and Jaime Lannister with last night's plot developments. The final season has been a hugely divisive one so far, with people criticising the writing and plot now that it has moved away from George RR Martin's books, and the rushed pacing. The jury's still out on how this one's going to end – and end it will in just a few days' time... https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a27450770/game-of-thrones-season-8-episode-5-reviews-worst-show-history/ ..... Baba if you don't know something, you find out. ... Seriously?? This is beyond expectations yada yada, it's just that common sense isn't even in the works anymore especially this season. I don't think you know more than the people who thumbed down the episode. |
..... Game of thrones season 8 episode 5 -- the bells is currently the worst rated episode ever in the series's history. 52% and counting.....WTF..... People dey para sha..... ..... Season 8 has been a huge let down and now there's little chance people will even bother to rewatch the series. Most folks lost interest after the death of the night king. I think the show should have been sold to Netflix for rewatch and all that. Seriously, 52%....Kai... ![]() |
Endy10:.....And how is that my concern? I have repeatedly posted here that if you don't like my posts or they don't go well with you. Kindly ignore and move on. Last time I will ever quote you and do stop doing likewise. Thanks. |
Luckygurl:.....Oh, he definitely will count this massacre as something he could have gotten right. I am sure he saw how foolish he was when he tried calling his men off but no one listened. If there is something you can prevent at its early stage, do it and forgot about principle. He tried to redeem himself later but it was too late; everything isn't black and white especially with humans and he learned it the hard way in that moment of chaos. .... Her quest to do what was right and perhaps write the wrongs of her father but that went to the dogs because of those useless writers. The only logical person we can blame now is Aegon, hence my anger towards him. ....At bolded; heard it's true and from Dany's body language, she wanted it but Aegon no gree. Perhaps the saying is true then ![]() |
Luckygurl:....The Honourable thing cost thousands of innocent lives. It's not as if Aegon hasn't broken honour before, he broke his promise to her after he told Sansa about his parentage. Sansa also broke her promise. So to hell with honour. People do what they think or feel is right. ...... I am sure Aegon saw that honour doesn't count with the way his men were killing men who had laid down their weapons and he could do nothing to stop them. A leader must improvise and sometimes do something out of principle. If that should involve sleeping with his aunt, he should have done it. That's what makes a great leader. ... Anyway, his eyes are now opened and he now knows that humans whether North or South are savages (in the show at least) and it requires a strong and firm leader to handle them, not some honourable, confused man. |
......I wish Sir Jorah was still alive, he would have done what Aegon failed to do... ...RIP Sir Jorah, you were the better man. |
ChristoBam:....Ogbeni, a man has to improvise, that's what makes a man. He already slept with his aunt already, so forget the incest talk. That one no hold water ....Aegon holds the history of the Targaryens...we all witnessed how he rushed into battle in past seasons all because he wanted to save his brother. Now, imagine that motive multiplied by 20 due to Dany's losses. How do you think she was going to respond? ....She knows quite well people don't really love her but something held her -- the love she thought Aegon had for her but alas, it was a lie. He didn't love her, just wanted to use her and that's when she snapped. Women are emotional creatures and will ditch logic to support whatever they feel is right. .... Every sensible man knows this except my once beloved Aegon. Any half-smart manin that situation will do all he can to calm Dany. Profess whatever, Sleep with her, something to stop her from breaking as she was clearly on the brink but no, Aegon justified the mumu tag that goes with him anywhere. There is time for everything. If fvcking honour will save countless lives, a reasonable man will do it. A leader certainly would. ...I love Aegon, he is the only reason I still spare time to download the series but the writers have ruined his character completely. He is not the man he once was. How can you let a powerful woman know that you used her when lives are still at stake? Seriously, who does that? We always know the outcome of that. |
...... I don't know if I should hate or like this episode. Great cinematography no doubt, far better than the last horrible battle where I couldn't see a thing, at least I enjoyed the destruction of Drogon. That Dragon na confirm beast.....Who says Dany isn't smart - she used gliding and free fall to completely destroy those ships.... quite ridiculous but great steering from Dany. ..... Quite a few loopholes but then, the episode was already getting thumbed down to hell even before release. It seems people already expect another master class disaster from D & D and they were not wrong. ....Varys died too late and the idiot has already put in play things to ruin Dany's claim to the throne, not that she did herself any good in this episode. ....I think Arya's role is becoming far too fake and should have died in this episode is in my opinion. ....I am not going to put curses on the writers of the show anymore because they already have a fair load of them this season, so I will just ignore the madness that was done to Dany's character. ...The writers want to put the blame on Aegon for Dany's madness, which I don't like but I have to say it now that Aegon is the dumbest character in the series. A woman who was clearly depressed and was clearly on the brink, instead of soothing her and giving her one better mind-blowing sex (not a fan of fornicaton though) to assure her or whatever. You did the opposite and confirmed to the woman that you never really loved her but used her for your gain. What an Oloriburuku!! Dumb, stupid man. Christ! He truly knows nothing. If he steps on that throne, he will be easily manipulated especially because of that silly honour he holds there. ....Kings landing destruction and the death of Innocents rests squarely on Aegon's head. He caused their death. He has failed to be a man. Kai, I dey vex right now. ..... Jamie and Euron ending up together, seriously?.... ..... After the golden company has been hyped, one dragon was all it took to bring down a whole city. They truly scammed Cercei. .... The battle was one dragon versus many and it prevailed. Honestly, the night king battle had me more hyped than this. ....One more episode and I will gladly dumb the series without a second look. |

I don't know when kokane turned to this, dude was my G those days, I rated him highly because he was among the very few who agreed with me Giroud isn't Arsenal material.
