LOBOFC: Hello people,
I just applied under EE. My score was 432. However, my status is blank. it is saying i need to register under the job bank which i have done but can't seem to link the two together.
I have registered under the job bank but CIC profile is still showing not yet register.
Please i need answers to the following...
1. Is my 432 score ok? Do i stand any chance? 2. How do I link the job account i created to my CIC application? 3. What do I do next after this?
Thank you for your assistance.
Regards, Not a bad score by the standard of applicants without job offer/provincial nomination. You will do well if you secure a provincial nomination. It is difficult securing an ITA without a provincial nomination/job offer which will give you an additional 600 points judging by the first draw. However, you should intensify effort to secure provincial nomination where and when you can. You can also include your spouse ECA and language ability to increase your chance. |

henroh: Good Morning Guys...please i need your urgent assistance. I applied for the FSW scheme and have gotten to the medicals stage...which i have also completed and sent and required. This was done in November 2014. I have been waiting for the mail to send my passport to Accra but to no avail. The last information i got was that the VISA issuing office is yet to resume for the year. Does anyone have such experience or have any piece of information that could help. I learnt it shouldn't take this long after medicals.
Regards Which visa office is yours? |

I applied initially but I was told I'm ineligible. My English test result is ok but I indicated that I don't have ECA, I guess that must be the reason why I was adjudged ineligible. I'm kinda thinking on doing the ECA cuz SINP says that we should have EE number and job seeker validation code. I have the first but not the second. Can anyone tell me how I can reapply? You need the ECA result to reapply. Have you registered on www.jobbank.gc.ca ? |

yeyeobab: Oga Solomonwis, Thanks so much for the update. What is the probability of the fact that next draws will include applicants without provincial nominations/ job offer? Is there any issue or problem with applying for provincial nomination when one is already in the pool? I asked this question earlier, but I did not get any response. Please can one apply for NSPNP while in the pool? I have been accepted into the pool with a score of 365, but I am trying to see if I can apply for the NSPNP as well. Your response to this will be valued and appreciated. Apologies for the omission. You can apply for provincial nomination before and after you are in the pool. You will have to weigh your chances regarding the province with respect to the requirements for nomination. It is getting more competitive now so you have to do all you can to surpass the province requirement for enhanced nomination. |

EXPRESS ENTRY UPDATE!!!The first draw has just taken place and against prediction, the required score point under CRS is 886! A total of 779 applicants have been sent ITA. The import of this is, applicants without Enhanced nomination (Provincial Nomination) and Job offers are not part of the first draw. It is getting tighter with immigration in Canada but more nomination is expected in another 2 to 3 weeks, hoping that this will include applicants without provincial nomination and/or Job offer. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/index.aspIt's not over until it's over! |

guy1234: Thanks to @solomonwis and @technolee What if I have included her as non-accompanying, with probable cause, and I can also prove the genuinety of the relationship.
When we are ready to be in Canada together, what do we need to do?
Do we have to tow the same path as if for a new family class application, or has the fsw application containing her as non-accompanying covered her?? Yes,this will be a new application under family class. As at January ,it takes an average of 16 months to process this class from when the application is received by the visa office. This is aside the average waiting period of 85 days for which the sponsor will be assessed. Your FSW will not come into the picture here as the application will be treated on its merit. As a matter of fact the FCU (Family Class Unit) will treat the application unlike the ECU (Economic Class Unit) that treats application under FSW Class. |

gentleiphy: Thanks my oga Solomonwise for this piece..one doesn't know until he ask...at least i have gained somethings from what you said...as per the other issue about Toronto(no relative) and Saskatoon(relative is there)...what do you advise i do.Thanks Cities such as Toronto,Vancouver, etc are not the best for people who are new PR except you have a family there, you have a job waiting for you,you already have a property there or you have large sum of money you don't intend to invest. Apart from the weather which is friendly, the beautiful scenery and the much touted "Jobs for professionals" (a popular fallacy) being in abundance, you will end up spending a lot on accommodation and upkeep! So if you're new in the country, living in the big cities might not be the best. It doesn't mean people who decide to live in these places don't succeed but it takes a great deal of effort and zeal. Saskatoon and Regina (both in Saskatchewan) are very attractive cities with loads of job opportunities, yes loads of them. Weather is not too unfriendly like what you have in "Winnterpeg" (Winnipeg actually). |

gentleiphy: Hi Everyone, As the process of this immigration thing progresses,i need to reconfirm from forumites here...i originally intended to settle in Toronto due to jobs availability more than in other provinces,i don't have any relatives in Toronto but i have a relative in Saskatoon who is willing to accommodate my family and i for 3 months by which we would have settled down and understand Canada before thinking of moving to either Toronto or Calgary(He owns his own house anyway).I understand too that jobs are not as plenty in Saskatoon like in Toronto,My question is..is it possible after settling in Saskatoon, getting the PR card,SIN,Health covers and get survival job to get Canadian work experience and then later move to my desired city.what happens with health covers when i move to another province. As a FSW Class PR,you are not restricted on where to settle. Health Cover differs from province to province. Some provinces such as Saskatchewan will grant you your health card and access to health facilities immediately you land but most provinces will require you to wait for a minimum period of 3 months before you can be granted access to health facilities in the province. Please note also that moving from one province to another comes with its challenges. You will not be automatically granted access to health facilities in your new province if you decide to move to anther province (and this applies to Saskatchewan too!) You will have a waiting period of a minimum 3 months before you can gain access to health facilities. |

technolee: Thanks for this piece Solomon. But what if guy1234 informs AVO of marriage but filled that the wife as a dependant won't be accompanying him to Canada. Will it be easy for the wife to join him after 2yrs? It is not just going to be on the basis of believing, you have to prove beyond doubt that your prior "information" is not an avenue for a marriage of convenience. You also have to state the reason(s) for non-accompanying spouse not accompanying the PA to Canada. If you'd then need to sponsor such spouse in the future, the reason(s) will be examined and documentary evidence provided. Altogether,it is not difficult when you have documentary evidence that the marriage is not that of convenience and that both parties still communicate as husband and wife even when they live in different countries. The onus therefore is on the parties involved to provide evidence proving the marriage is not fake. |

HELP HELP HELPP !!!!!!!
Hello guys.
Am a fswp 2014 applicant. Already received PER . I am considering marrying my fiancée, but she would be a non-accompanying spouse. I want to get settled first before I bring her in.
What are the processes of bringing a formerly non-accompanying spouse in under a fsw application ?
Do I have to go through a fresh family class application? You will have to go through the route called {Family} Sponsorship. Please ensure you keep documentary evidence of your relationship (Photo, email exchange, funds transfer, certificates, etc) as you'd be asked for all these documents and many more to prove the authenticity your relationship. Family sponsorship is usually a tasking route to take especially in this part of the world where we rarely keep documentary evidence of event. Remember,it all depends on when you intend getting married to your spouse. If you get married to her prior to the finalization of the FSW application process and you fail to bring this to the attention of your visa office, you will be automatically disqualified. If you get married after the finalization of your application, you will have a lot to prove to show yours is not a marriage of convenience (and a lot goes into this). If you can now,get married and include your spouse (when you eventually get married before the finalization of your FSW application). Both of you can land or one of you can land and then return back to the country as you have an average of between 10 to 6 months between the issuance of your PR visa and the expiration of the visa (period before you must land). You need to weigh the pros and the cons. On a personal note, why don't you want to get married now and include your spouse in your application? - Canadian girls are beautiful ooo, they can make you forget "home",the same goes for Canadian men .Including her is not the same as landing with her. The principal applicant can land first while the accompanying spouse can land later before the expiration date on the PR visa. |

Please kindly let me know the provinces that still havr their Express Emtry Nominee Programmes still open as I couldnt get a reliable site that treats that.
Someone said that Saskatchewan INP is still running but I read somewhere here that its filled up since January 1?
Thank you
My ogas Solomonwis/ Damkollins First, what is your overall Score on EE? The way the additional 600 points from provincial nomination work is,some provinces will select applicants directly from the pool and request the selected applicants to send in application by way of acceptance of the selection to the province. Some other provinces will request that applicants apply directly to them before they can be selected and a condition precedent to this is for such applicants to have an offer of employment from the province. As it is now,it appears what is clear (for now) is that applicants who choose a particular province will be selected from the pool if and when they meet certain criteria (on the basis of age, language ability, length of foreign/Canadian work experience, overall score on EE,etc)to be established by the province of choice. It has been hinted that the first few draws will not take cognizance of the additional 600 points. Hence, you need not worry much about the 600 additional points at this stage - Between January 2015 and half way through to February 2015. If however you are looking beyond the first few draws you have to present your EOI on EE as attractive as possible and another key is to select "All Provinces and Territories" when you are looking at improving your chance of being selected by ALL the provinces and territories as your details will be made available to all the PT (Provinces and Territories) for possibility of selection for additional 600 points. For a fact, before the PT decide to select you from the pool for the award of an additional 600 points, they would want a commitment from you that you will not "abscond" from the PT when you eventually secure a Permanent Residence in Canada. From the foregoing,it is apparent that : 1. You have to be convinced of your province of destination. 2. You are morally obliged to reside in the PT after selection and eventual issuance of PR. 3. The first few draws will not take cognizance of the additional 600 points. 4. You can make your profile on EE available to ALL PT for possibility of selection and possibility of securing an additional 600 points. 5. You can make your profile available to few PT (by selecting your desired province on EE). The existing provincial nominee program (PNP) for applicants without (and with) jobs in Canada ( which is called base nominations) is different from the PNP for Express Entry purpose (referred to as enhanced nominations). What appears to be on-going now for most provinces and territories (PT) is the base nomination, with some provinces such as Saskatchewan reaching the quota for "Without Job offer" are of the base nomination for the year 2015. |

Meritl: Thanks a lot Solo. I've visited the link provided, and in filling, it says that the space for UCI is optional. Is it that the optional relates to those who haven't received a PER, hence no UCI? (Between, I'm reasoning that they'll surely need my UCI in order to know the specific applicant).
I also saw that there's a provision to upload documents. So I ask; is uploading just my new employment letter OK? I thought of adding my payslip but the only payslip I have is that for my first two months combined, which will not reflect my true monthly salary and wages. My payslip for January is going to be out around sometime in next week. So I'm guessing I've got to wait.
Please what do you mean by saying" You don't have to provide too much details about NOC" ? ( is it that I do not need to explain details of this my new job's NOC at all? When telling them the Job title, do I need to categorize it into an NOC code?)
Thanks for my plenty trouble. CHEERS 1.If you have a UCI number and a file number include them in the CSE. They make matching your update to your case file easy and fast. 2.
