laraode:So long as the required fund is in the account, yes a printed statement is enough evidence. No need including a letter, the card detail is all that is needed. |
justicia:You can read up for more here https://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines/1 and complement that with reading up here www.cic.gc.ca |
laraode:That proof is your onus,I'm afraid. The idea with pension contribution fund being used as proof of settlement fund is to present it at the initial stage of application submission. This scales through without problem at the central intake office. Sometimes (as it's been proven by a thread member),the immigration office responsible for the finalization of your visa application will not require further proof that this fund is readily available and accessible and at other times, they may require a statement of BANK account showing this fund is available for your use and it is unencumbered in any way. You should make effort to open communication with your PFA to transfer this fund to your account at your request should you meet the requirements to do so or provide an alternative to the pension fund in the event that the immigration office is not convinced of the availability of this fund. |
conyema12:The requirement is to send in a copy of your certificate with your school forwarding your transcripts. Some of those institutions(assessing bodies) will find it appalling that a school will not have your Msc certificate ready {but unfortunately, that is what it is with the Nigerian Educational Institutions}. Your only alternative is to send in a mail stating the fact that your certificate is not ready and details of your academic records can be confirmed with your school, hoping that you will scale the hurdle with this. However, this will be hinged on your school's willingness to confirm same with CES. |
Monika01:Unfortunately,you do not qualify for the FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM. You must have a minimum of 1 year work experience before you send in an application. Work experience does not necessarily have to relate to your qualification with a few exceptions in some eligible occupations. |
Zeleez:That is dependent on a number of factors, the most important of which is the number of applications received prior to and along with yours. On the average,it will take close to 60 days before your receipt confirmation/deduction from your debit/credit card. |
laraode:Yes,pension fund contribution statement can be used so long you can show the fund is readily accessible. You can use your relative's credit card details as long as you have the authorization to do so. |
Monika01:What is your work experience like? |
UPDATE!!! Total received toward the overall cap: 9,939 of 25,000 http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp |
omonade11:You can go ahead and pay but be sure to get a confirmation that your email was received by WES. |
omonade11:send a mail to contactca@wes.org if you can't edit on your application portals. |
Sevenody:Once he decides to stay back after the issuance of PR visa,at the expiration of that single entry visa he will not have the chance to claim permanent resident of Canada. You might have to sponsor him if you so wish at a later date but it will be a herculean task as you'd have a lot to prove as to the reason behind the inability to "land" at the time when a PR visa was issued. |
Sevenody:As @Zeelo2014 has mentioned, officially as stated in the MI12 the current FSWP is ending April 31st,2014 except there's another MI{Ministerial Instruction}. You can choose to present your spouse as non-accompanying,in which case application fee {of CAD#550} will not be paid but you must: Present Proof of settlement fund showing your ability to maintain your family {your non-accompanying spouse inclusive}. You can not include the language ability test score of your non-accompanying spouse to claim additional points {If this is what you mean by "....it will help in adaptability score"}.Although, adaptability point is for applicants with relatives resident in Canada. |
ken1982:Chances depend on a number of factors centered around the immigration policy of the Federal government of Canada as well as the provincial policy on immigration at the time. Most graduates have different routes with which they can obtain permanent residence (PR) particularly through Canadian Experience Class. You can read up for more here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp Your chances of visiting her is equally dependent on a number of factors all centered around your ability to fulfill the visa conditions as stipulated by CIC. Do you have the financial wherewithal to travel to Canada? Do you have enough incentives to return back to your country of residence? Are you economically and socially established to embark on the journey to Canada and return to your country of residence? Those and many others are some of the questions the Visa Officer will want to be convinced about before issuing you a travel document to visit your spouse. |
kelvinetemah123:If you respond to the agent, your money is as good as forgotten!Kiss that money bye bye... Have you had any work experience in the last 10 years? Do you have any technical apprenticeship in the last 10 years? What is the purpose of your wanting to relocate to Canada? Let's take it from the above and then we can see the feasibility of your dream of relocation to Canada coming to fruition. |
zaliya:Except you want to include it as part of your credentials for the sake of "inclusion",it is not mandatory to include NYSC discharge certificate in FSWP application. |
bo2014:It depends on the medium of communication by your school with third parties regarding authentication/educational credentials verification. |
zaliya:No extra score for accompanying spouse's ECA result..You can only gain extra score with spouse language ability test. |
zaliya:You don't need to notarize any document except your documents are in other language other than English. In that case, you'd notarize the translated copies and include as part of the documents to be forwarded to the CIO. You can check up the exchange rate on www.oanda.com. Please make allowance for exchange fluctuation/ or you can call your local bank for the exchange rate. There's no penalty for having money in excess of the required fund,in fact it is it your advantage. So present the fund the way it is. |

justwise:I understand why some of the posts have to be deleted. I am sold out to ensuring things are done rightly,it doesn't make me and others saints but help as guiding principle. Thank you @Justwise. |
seunlovesa:Nobody can say for sure until we hear news of people whose applications were returned on the basis of the cap being reached, until then we have to remain positive. |
okejji:Except you mean to use other subtle words, those words are worse! There's nothing baseless and senseless in people being upright...Nobody is arguing here, the message is crystal clear. On this forum,do not preach circumventing processes.Simple.. |
subsidy12:He's not criticizing but encouraging people to circumvent laid down procedures. You can decide to cut corners if you want but to come on a public forum and encourage others to go the same lane is not only misleading but morally wrong. If the procedure says do not BORROW, don't come on here and tell people to borrow. Why? The Canadian visa office is just a search engine away from nairaland. They will tighten the nose around Nigerians and make if difficult for people with genuine intent to travel because everybody will be seen as the same. They'd have a justifiable ground to doubt the genuine intention of applicants. Have you ever asked yourself why it is easier for a Polish applicant to get a visa to Canada than it is for a Nigerian? It is because processes are strictly adhered to in Poland (even though there is pervasive poverty in Poland). It is not poverty that makes people circumvent processes, it is simply discipline....The reason for which Nigeria is where it is today. If you ask people to circumvent laid down procedures, what moral justification do you have to blame/castigate Nigerian leaders who steal our resources to stupor? How do we make the country better if laid down procedures are not adhered to? Sometimes (if not all the time) we must stand for what is right and true, not because it will make us appears controversial and unpopular but because it will help drive our country forward no matter how little it appears. Everybody in Nigeria (and Nigerians in diaspora) can't be thieves, most people are successful professionals. We must preach this ALWAYS and not do anything otherwise to make it look like if you don't steal or circumvent processes, you can never be successful. |
zaliya:Yes,if he's already in the UK.. |
