Bros, this is not about where one comes from but about justice and fairness. I have stayed in PHC for 21 yrs and I know that elections never held there. PDP had always been writing results like in other SS states. Now that there was a credible opposition in APC, which could wrestle power from PDP, hence the level of violence and poll rapes in both rivers and Akwa ibom ibom. SS and SE should begin to be as democratic as north and SW where you could get results at each polling booths as counted before the electorates.

Nice analysis. I did a similar analysis for all zones. It is only in SS and SE zones that you record similar trend as rivers while north, Edo and south west follow Jason's All PDP supporters know the truth. But they are living in self denial.

PDP or anyone will call for cancellation in Lagos because election was held there free and fair. I witnessed the counting and declaration of results at two polling units in Lagos. No credible election took place in Rivers and Akwa Ibom

SS are not use to having election. They are only good at writing and declaring results. Is good they are exposing themselves now. Only Edo state had a fair result two weeks back. INEC accept results of Rivers,Akwa Ibom and Delta states because despite the fact that proper election did not hold there the results could not make any difference. You are spot on because I have stayed in Rivers state for 21 yrs and participated in all elections. They always recorded 99.9% turn out. The emergence of APC as credible opposition is what results in all these violent incidents as Wike, Akpabio and PDP wouldn't allow free and fair election

The reality is sinking in gradually as Inec will announce Mr. Chukwujimi Agbaje the winner of Lagoon state election when results from Ebonyi, Abia, Imo, Anambra and Enugu would have been released. To the Igbos in the house this is our turn to rule. To the Lagoon state we start relocating.

You have observed rightly. I am from Lagos but have state in PHC for 21yrs. Truly election hardly takes place in SS including Rivers that is why no results are released from any PUs. I posted result of PU 22 and 23 in Alimosho lga counted on presence on Nairaland yeyesterday. You can never witness that in Rivers state. The presence of APC as credible opposition in Rivers and Akwa ibom is what wants to force a semblance of election but PDP, Wike and Akpabio will have none of that.

You are very right. Traditionally in SS, Rivers stare, inclusive PDP has been used to writing election results without no true election taking place. Now that there is a vibrant opposition on ground in APC, both in Rivers and Akwa Ibom, that is why there are lots of violence because it wad not business as usual. APC may win in both states should PDP allow a free and fair election.
