If I am Femi, I will put 10m in trust fund for the children and open a business for the widow + building one bungalow on a half plot of land for the woman.
That's all. (This isn't because he's guilty or must do it) but for prosperity sake. |

Wingnut007: I do the same thing too. It even gets better when Street View is available in the area.
There is a lot to consider. At times, when I am in the area, I go around asking one or two locals. When trying to find out what an area is like during rainy season or if it floods, ask Okada riders and Yellow Cab men around the area. True and the gutters too I also check the vegetation and their health to know if it gets enough water (flood) to nourish them. |

Yea, they consume money. Once you want to sell a land to me, I take the name of the area and go straight to google map to check images of the area before physical inspection. The land can be dry but what about the street or area as a whole? Wingnut007: Naaa...I won't. I'm staying away from such lands, especially the very swampy ones. |

diordaves: Are you looking to invest or you are looking for a forever home? In property business, this is called exit strategy. What is your exit strategy?
You shouldn't be at crossroads if you've got your exit strategy nailed.
If you are looking to build a forever home, any location including your village that meets the causal components of your life chances is game be it swamp or on top Aso rock.
If those pictures that are being posted up and down of the island meet my idea of a decent location/neighbourhood, I will buy in swamp or no swamp. But if I'm looking to invest, the whole calculus change kpatakpata.
I can't use 20 million Naira for ground preparatory works (foundation) only and end up sinking 70 million for a duplex and be collecting 2 million annually and think this is game when I can use 70 million to build a plaza of 50 stores in dry land and be collecting 3 million Naira a month in rent as a minimum. Both, looking for personal and commercial but the former comes first in my scale of preference. I like quiet environment and not the crowd type but access to the food and lifestyle market is a must. (closeness to the mainland or major market without having to pass through hell is paramount) I like the beach but can't stand flood hence my quest for dry land. I hope I have answered the questions you raised? |

If you are in diaspora and you want to buy land in Lagos, I am going to advise that you go to Ibeju/Lekki beach area. I will be posting some images soon to help people distinguish between swamp and dry land in the area |

Wingnut007: Kindly share your findings about the locations when you are done.
Went to inspect an estate at Bogije yesterday and attached are the pictures of my findings. That swamp is a cause of concern to me. Going to Ebute side of Ikorodu tomorrow to make some findings and also to inspect some plots. Wow. Looking similar to the property I checked at Mile 12/Agility side yesterday. Would you go for this because it is swampy. Could not step on the plot of land/swamp.

Big wahala for Putin .. he must have been wondering why he selected an Idiot like Trump , now Democrats aka world police are back
Ukraine would suddenly start carrying shoulders to a whole Russia again
NATO would start getting 100% funding to intimidate communist Europe and Asia countries
Climate change advocacy would start and green energy would start gaining traction and putting Crude oil producing countries in more gbese
World health organisation getting 100% funding for research while Russian vaccine remains unsold
When Righteousness89 was screaming like a sheep without a Shepard you think he doesn't know what would happen with Democrats taking over....
World Police are back,
Gen Abacha
Osama bin Laden,
Col Gadaffi
Saddam Hussein
. Are you done? I guess George Bush that started the bombings and killings is also a Democrat. |

Any further protest that won't involve passing it into law that all public service officials must not be seen abroad except for verified official errands including their wards should not hold. |
