grin grin grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy

Good to know that I have fellow #COYG chanters here though.

My Brother, it's all just about Our love for Good football ooo and not otherwise or anything HBP related presumption ooo.

Our Love for the SE and other Nigerian Teams is born out of profound passion, unrelenting patriotism and unblemished burning desire for the Nigerian content promotion and consumption.

While Our steadfast love, dedicated commitment and overwhelming followership of ARSENAL irrespective of it predicament season in season out is because of the believe that winning trophies in a competitive round robin environment is only an icing on the cake.

For even the organizers of any such competitions and everyone else knows that there is only and always One winner all the time and this also applies to the Nigerian Teams alike.

Besides, Football is all about 3 perspective of a WIN, DRAW or a LOSS and that would never change forever and ever. So why would one kill him or herself having known this already?

Above all, Teams, whether club or National Teams usually have their off season and Era.

Imagine clubs like

Portsmouth
Swansea city
Blackburn Rovers
Nottingham forest
Fulham
Stoke city
Wigan Athletic
Charlton Athletic
Bolton Wanderers
Middles borough
Leeds United

etc To have gone on relegation without coming back to the EPL yet. Even with some of them enjoying champions league success in the past?

Does that mean they no longer have fan base? Of course not.

By the way, what club do you support?
Bendel insurance wey don disappear
Kano pillars
FC Barcelona
Liverpool
Roma
Bayern munchen
PSV
Lyon

These are My clubs

Why is it Okoye's inclusion that is disturbing you? Who says Abubakar will even have a career in the coming years? What has happened to his predecessors like Emmanuel Daniel, Akpan Udoh and Alampasu?

Okoye is there by virtue of being a Super Eagles player currently, while Abubakar is still in the U-23. He is senior in the team, and so, will be ahead in any pecking order being listed currently. Dem no dey count who dem never born, when dem dey plan family outing
You still didn't answer the question.

Question still begging.

Yes and that was why he had to recall him in the absence of UZOHO.

Else, He wouldn't have looked into his direction again for the 3rd time in a row after his poor AFCON display certainly
Akpeyi didn't have any poor AFCON display except the Mahrez freekick. This assertion is wrong.

From the 24 countries GK, he was one of the performing GKs and listed among first 5 top gks.

Just starting facts

He was actually called because he's the most qualified and inform.

Not like he called him without merit.

He does not trust both Ezenwa and Okoye because both haven't really performed and I keep wondering why Ezenwa is being called going to 4 years now.

Ezenwa has not played up to 30 first team football for almost 4 years. No merit whatsoever!

Probably Ezenwa.

Because He is aged already just like Daniel Akpeyi who is only coming back because of Francis Uzoho's injury and for putting up a superb display in South Africa in his last 3 matches.

So, The below is the order in a couple of years to come

UZOHO
OKOYE
ABUBAKAR
What makes Okoye better?

Performance or what yardstick did you use?

It might seem to be a blow to their future though but not necessarily True because Our physicality was the thing that overpowered them yesterday

While also noting that the Head-to-head stuff is always a difficult circumstance to overturn easily, hence their slump.

The penultimate statement above is why everyone is chorusing #EMERYOUT from my darling ARSENAL since he is finding it difficult to see off easily the EPL Teams his predecessor-ARSENE WENGER usually put away comfortably.

All in all, Those guys can still reshape the future of ZAMBIAN football perfectly.
Too many Arsenal fans on this thread . I now understand why you guys love the super eagles and the Nigerian teams.

LMC chairman Shehu Dikko speaks on
#NPFLNextTV : "We are here to explain the understanding we reached with Next Digital TV.
"We are here to guarantee the NPFL sustainability and ensure that football is played as professionally as possible while other developments and projects are delivered.
"The partnership is aimed to have investment into the production of NPFL Matches in both equipment and human resources to ensure the professional and efficient production of NPFL Matches for distribution to all interested networks and platforms domestically and internationally.
"The third pillar of the transaction is to ensure the marketing and sales of NPFL Matches produced across all platforms in the domestic and international markets, such as Pay TV, Free to Air, Mobile, OTT, Streaming, Highlights, Video on Demand etc.
"The first phase of distribution is to commence through OTT Platform in partnership with 9mobile.
"Commercialization of NPFL Rights to generate enough revenues into the system with NPFL earnings hugely optimized.
*Market and commercialize all available rights pertaining to the NPFL under several categories such as elite sponsors (Max of 8Nr based on industry category), associate sponsors (based on services and supply partnerships), advertising revenues from broadcast, in-stadia advertisement, gaming and data sales, among others, etc;
*Optimize and Collect all the revenues derivable from the project (both media and sponsorships) into one Pot for distribution among the parties as per the contract;
*The revenue forecast suggests that the NPFL will quadruple its revenues potentials and earnings through this project in addition."

In the discussion tweeted today there was a mention of production of content for Free-To-Air platforms.

They're kicking off with OTT first. I'm quite sceptical to its actual reception in Nigeria. I mean, burn data to see a NPFL match? Oh well.

One thing tho that could really sell in the short time is like a short program of goal highlights, bloopers during games, fan reactions etc At least I'd be happy to use my data to see that.

Hopefully with this deal the clubs do not sit on their thumbs like dunces.
Make stars out of your players. Hype & popularize them. People want to see stars. All these humility league we are playing here sef
I don't even mind up to date and consistent highlights that can be watched on youtube.

I wish I have the resources to employ at least 10 guys every match day to go to match venues just to record matches then I compile and share them on youtube.

There is money to be made just doing that on youtube alone not to talk of adverts and all that.

I wish I can!

They can't afford it ni
Supersport once quoted the tens of millions of naira in expenses it took to produce one/two game every match day. Our local stations can't cope. Its very disgraceful.

Even now sef, I don't think if things return to TV it'd be all 10 matches in a match day they'd be able to show.
Not even the glorified NTA claiming to be the biggest network station in Africa?

At least a game per week is not too much na.

AiT is all about noise
Channels prefer winning one yeye award yearly just by repeating news all day.

Its just weird

Should Nigeria not have a private network vying for stuffs like this across Africa?

Shehu Dikko and the CEO of Next TV spoke about the NPFL deal with Next TV. Next TV have a partner in Dubai and hope to eventually take our games to the Middle East, while the LMC is hoping to quadruple revenue. I think Next TV will take over broadcasting, advertising and the like...there’s also a deal with 9mobile but I’m not sure where they come in.
The interview is available on the LMC twitter handle.
Good, but are we sure they will also agree to allow at least one live game be shown on local station by including such condition in the contract?

Everyone must not sub with them to view our league on TV.

Supersports used to allow NTA show a game per week then.
