He didn't write the constitution, the constitution gave such leverage to almost all government officials to have their cars changed almost every year. your president decided not to change the vehicle he inherited, let say Jonathan bought the car in 2014, the president decided to use it till 2019, now changed it, you're asking if it spoilt? what kinda question is that? Show me one country in the world that waits for their president's car to spoil first before they change it. SHOW ME ONE.

Wether he drives the car once in 200 years or not, the president is entitled to a change of car almost every year, he didn't change his for 5 years and you're here asking funny questions.

Look for something else to wail on and not on this. NO NIGERIAN PRESIDENT has done or managed presidential properties like Buhari in 20 years.

He should keep using a more than 6 years old presidential car? are you people serious for once? previous presidents changed vehicles almost every year. you just can't please those who are ready never to see anything good in what you do.

Even people that aren't president change their cars almost every year. Maybe you should also tell him not to change his clothes too.

however, when the leader keeps shouting on how prudent he is, how simple he is, how others are wasteful because they want good things & other issues that give the impression that he is a humble man, then such expenses can be called into question because it is at variance with the man's self stated ideals...


a bullet proof Peugeot or Innoson vehicle would have been a better choice for a man who continually preaches simplicity & using home grown/made resources...
