Not interested in beating about the bush. when you show me a country where the president only changes car when the current one spoils, all other stuffs you're talking about are irrelevant. If not changing president car for 5 years is not a new development different from what we have known for 20 years, then i can't help you think further. Have a nice day. lexy2014: Except d meaning of emotional and sentimental has changed, I clearly don't no what u are referring.
Yea I asked u "is d car spoilt?" Is d question 2 big 4u to answer? D questions I asked u are valid& d answers will obviously puncture whatever argument (that is if u have any) u may want to bring forth.
U say u want 2 indulge me yet u are asking me "what type of question is that"? From ur post above, what have u indulged?
How has buhari managed presidential properties better than his predecessors? Facts pls.
Can u pls quote d portion of d constitution that u say gives govt officials d liberty to change cars every year? That will b most helpful.
Pls here are my questions. This time, pls "indulge me": |

lexy2014: D question I asked u is simple; is d car spoilt? Yes or no? If d car isn't spoilt, what is wrong in using it? How many places does d president drive to in a day? People that change their cars every year, where do they drive to everyday with their cars? How many kilometers has d presidents car done to warrant changing? If u have to justify buharis actions by d mistakes of past presidents, then u clearly saying he isnt better than them.
Pls answer d few questions I asked You're asking a lot of emotional and sentimental questions that i shouldn't even bother answering but let me indulge you. He didn't write the constitution, the constitution gave such leverage to almost all government officials to have their cars changed almost every year. your president decided not to change the vehicle he inherited, let say Jonathan bought the car in 2014, the president decided to use it till 2019, now changed it, you're asking if it spoilt? what kinda question is that? Show me one country in the world that waits for their president's car to spoil first before they change it. SHOW ME ONE. Wether he drives the car once in 200 years or not, the president is entitled to a change of car almost every year, he didn't change his for 5 years and you're here asking funny questions. Look for something else to wail on and not on this. NO NIGERIAN PRESIDENT has done or managed presidential properties like Buhari in 20 years. |
Politics › Re: Buhari's New Inauguration Car Worth N280m Not N61m - Dailynigerian Says by somehow: 9:26am On May 30, 2019 |
He should keep using a more than 6 years old presidential car? are you people serious for once? previous presidents changed vehicles almost every year. you just can't please those who are ready never to see anything good in what you do. Even people that aren't president change their cars almost every year. Maybe you should also tell him not to change his clothes too. lexy2014: Is d old one spoilt? |

I hope you know this is the first time the president is buying a new car as the president? been using the old ones for 4 years now. ivandragon: a leader is often judged on his ability to walk his talk...
it is not out of place for the president to use a vehicle worth N280m or higher... he is the president & fact remains that Nigeria is quite unsafe...
however, when the leader keeps shouting on how prudent he is, how simple he is, how others are wasteful because they want good things & other issues that give the impression that he is a humble man, then such expenses can be called into question because it is at variance with the man's self stated ideals...
a bullet proof Peugeot or Innoson vehicle would have been a better choice for a man who continually preaches simplicity & using home grown/made resources... |
