Danhumprey: Nice article. I think you should use "Lady" preferably in place of "woman",as it make it more coherent. Thanks, I think you are right; I thought as much too. However, changing the word "woman" to "lady" kills the spirit of the article as well as alter it. Likewise, I seem to think using "lady" in place of "woman" amounts to tautology in correlation with the word "girl" which could create confusion; I think that's why the writer left it as such. |
ellarry: ladies feels there is much more grounds to cover and more places to explore where woman has seeen it allTrue talk! No. 12 |
Dyt: 11?That's cool. The dude simply assumes its Idayat, then watch out for xtaristics and signature of the new babe. If it matches with yours, he goes from "Red Alert" to "Yellow Alert" and "Green Alert" and vice-versa. "Idaya stop It jare!!!" Lolz |
Acidosis: Everyday article... Everyday break upI heard he has an "acid scar" on his face as well. ![]() |
xynerise: Na wa o. It has tay o. Happy New yearlolz, same to you |
Dyt: Every grown man knows this naWell said. Alas! Only a grown woman/lady would agree with the distinctions. |
Let's discuss. Depending on individual experiences, differences 1-10 remain moot. But sometimes going by number 11; I can't believe that I have been involved in games with girls in the past. Just too awful, when guys start playing games as well, they start calling them "Players" who cheat them at the slightest opportunity. What do you say? |
sonickay: 11 differences between dating a girl & a woman |
Ah, how awful. I hate it when a lady snores. It feels like the ground is about to open then |
Pakingzzz: [color=#990000]This airhog Rx was built to drive a micro motor that ran at 3.2v,and drew 1amps.I am very much interested in this part. I have been trying to build an amplifier circuit; to amplify volt and current from a minimum level to optimum/maximum level. I made some research but I couldn't find these ICs: MAX756 and MAX757 in the local market or online stores till now. Please fill me in on how you built your amplifier, it doesn't matter if your output is adjustable or fixed, I badly need some other way to amplify voltage and current. My mail is sonickaybid@yahoo.com I will mail you, its likely you won't see this. |
MMMua'zu:Hmmm, Jonathan the "Saint" letter writer, OBJ the "villain-cum-hero" Dear God, when will this end, "the flimsy facáde of your name..." In a country as Nigeria shrouded in so much mystery and secrecy. We need "City Hunters" who will set the law into motion legitimately and selflessly for veritas vos liberabit: John 8:32, "then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free". |

Nice topic Op. I have been looking for tips to maintain my white shirts as well. I thought I have been an "Apa" but it seems some other factors militates against whiteness. I expect rational and experienced replies on this thread, too bad of people. Abeg, if you have any good advise as a dry cleaner or have the experience of using white shirt optimally, send me a "Call Me Back " by clicking "Like" so I can call the thread back, your advice will be greatly valued. Thanks. |
What I can say Nigeria produces indigenously and uniquely according to international standard is Cement, oil production is nothing to write home about without good refineries. 36th to comment, dancing etighi...afam. Skelewu x9....who says 39 to comment is not superior than first to comment. Ask Gov. Akpabio, "16 is more superior to 19" and vice versa |
It doesn't really matter whether Obasanjo was a thief or a villain trying to make a hero; he has a right like every prisoner has to (criticise thiefs, hoodlums, assassins and bad elements not yet in prison) say the truth as he sees it and along the lines of public opinion. Its more hypocritical of the Presidency to call Obasanjo a hypocrite. |
slimstanakacns: Neva have i seen any known to me benefits from this scheme ,only hear say n in d newsSame with me. However, I was awestruck when I saw people along some areas in Ibadan donning Sure-P apparel directing traffic while our traffic wardens got relegated. I expect something better to come out os Sure-P not traffic controllers. |
DaLover: Lol..the number of daft people on this forum is amazing, with total sales of oil about $70b...then $50b is reported missing by Sahara reporters..Only a dumb person will believe Sahara reportersA copy of the entire letter will soon be uploaded by SaharaReporters, why don't you wait till then. We all know wat goes on in NNPC. Ů̶̲̥я̲ tag no says much about you, number 37 laptopdog team member. |
dridowu: Bala Mohammed Voice : they would have been sponspored by the opposition , the opposition does not want abuja to developAbi ooo, a wakeup call is always seen as a "PaidtoProtest" arrangement, d same way Gej and Mark said ASUU strike has been politically motivated. They shud just kill the opposition and make us hear word. |
They embarked on a hard job. I wish them success in it. Such scheme will take into consideration whole lots of yoruba encylopedia and history. Good luck, it will be nice to read Animal Farm and Oliver Twist in yoruba, igbo and hausa language. |
wesley80: Mennn, this is bad news o! Someone in GEJ's govt just made progress and APC's e-rats wont be liking it. How are some folks going to sleep this night considering how they hate this woman? I'm thinking a lot of folks will be gulping down sachets of valium5 just to get bye too bad when they wake up her face will be all over the dailies too, Oh dear!Oh good lord, Wesley Snipe-Anything again. How long will you continue these pre-programmed vituperations? I salute ů̶̲̥я̲ ingenuity Sir, Mandela referred to you as well, a hardworking and committed Nigerian who doesn't take any wipe at No 1 Nigerian as a joke. Good day, snipe them all before I come back. |
funky medina: I pray nigerians will keep aside sentiments and see that Madiba was very correct !The world will not respect Africa until Nigeria earns that respect. The black people of the world need Nigeria to be great as a source of pride and confidence. |
Why not? I have used a shoe "Mariobangi" before. It served me soo much like a slave, it was made in Aba, Nigeria. When I was at the shop where I bought the shoe, a sticker stuck inside said "Made In Nigeria". Wow, I felt so proud of the shoe, I picked it straight away and even showed friends. Nigeria has the potential to rival and reduce importation of shoes and clothes, albeit, in a favourable environment; its sad govt. clamps down and destroy this business ideas and imitations indiscriminately without creating and encouraging the counterfeiters to make their own genuine brands. |
Non-egoist |
The desire to have a DV Visa Lottery programme now is like checking the colour of poison. Taking steps in such direction is a death wish in its entirety. However, at the pace Nigeria is going, this policy could not be ruled out by the year 2090 for smaller nations in Africa to seek green pasture in Nigeria; that's a crude reality, our 50yrs of independence has been a sham! |
Just saw this on news.yahoo.com, ABC News is following the life update and having a coverage of his death. Africa will miss Mandela forever, few have his spirit of nationalism and patriotism, he evn forgave the whites and allow them to stay behind when they wanted to flee South Africa after aboishment of Apartheid without prosecuting or persecuting them. Adieu Sir! Source: http://news.yahoo.com/video/abc-news-plus-special-report-220000361.html |

olorunthobby: Eminado is simply yoruba statement emi ni ado meaning 'nah me go straf am'I was singing this chorus today and I didn't know when I blurted out Eminado which left people within my vicinity flabbergasted. It later occured to me that my intonation changed it to "Emi Ado" which means na me go put my 1 in her Zero0 in yoruba. I laffed sotey sotey Emin ado, emin adoo |
udopee: Why are worldly women so crazy about trousers or pants and men are not crazy about putting on skirt and blouselolz Nigeria and its interpretation of the scripture. All who supports ladies wearing modest and decent trousers are right and more enlightened. However, the essence of that verse is to prevent transgender and transsexual dressing. That is to prevent men from wearing things designated for women or to make them look like a woman to a man. Also, on the other hand it is to prevent women or ladies from wearing clothes designated only for men where waring them will be deceitful and present them as a man. A simple hypothesis of this verse during the medieval period is this: men and women wear garments and robes; men's robes are plain without adornments. On the other hand women's garments are stylish, colourful and more adorned. It was easier to differentiate based on adornments of garments then. So it creates confusion and deceit when a lady wear a man's robe and a man wears a lady's adorned garment. Such was the essence of the verse to stop the anomaly. In our modern times, a tomboy will never qualify for a guy to a reasonable man, she may have a guy's stature or looks, yet her clothing will give her away easily as a lady because she wasn't dressed in a guy's body hug or overall shirts or a trouser designed for men by Versace, D&G, Bosch et al. The designer factor says it all. Likewise it is prohibitive for a man to wear a ladies trouser, pants, shirts no matter what fundamental and exclusive right he has to wear trousers and the likes, wearing a designated wear for ladies vilates Deut, 22:5 no matter the levels of similarity and vice-versa. |
Otunbalarry: do u mean dis?abeg dnt tell me u are joking o,bkos dat meanx am packn my loadxpack load keh, resume keh, if I resume nah protest I go resume for school. Students won't take that bullshit; using propaganga and denied rumours to open our schools won't work. Issues ought to be resolved. |
"Danfo" rides can be very pleasant to long distance locations or journeys. However, the ride can be menacing if it is a short or not too long trip within a metropolis. Apart from the points raised by the Op, other points make "danfo" rides unpleasant for me. First, danfos have too much "multiple bus-stops", dey can pick up forty people and drop thirtu people within a short distance of three kilometers. This leads to loss of time as well as the incessant "I drop, you enter, you shift" palapala inconveniences. Secondly, danfo drivers are known and notorious for their reckless driving manners, no wonder it is widely said that psychology tests shud be conducted for the drivers. They drive like "experts", they can drive and undrive. I am always alarmed at the way they drive as well as the constant curse they receive from other road users. Lastly, I am a law student, I wear my usually regalia most times. Therefore I avoid danfos and take cabs or keke during those times. Anytime I take danfo and dressed as such, I end up with my clothes looking rumpled and brownish on getting to office. This makes me feel bad as if Its an abuse of the profession. You see, the fear of danfos is the beginning of wisdom. |
"Danfo" rides can be enjoyable at times on straight and long distance journeys with one, two or three bus-stops. However, some factors apart from the ones listed by the Op makes it more agonizing in short and long distances within the metropolis. First, "danfos" are found of "multiple bus-stops", they can carry people and drop them within 200meters. For a distance of 4kms/kilometers, they can stop 20 times. This "multiple bus-stops" make the ride more longer as well as the frequent "you drop, I enter, I shift for you" palapala. Secondly, "danfos" drivers are fond of and known for their notorious driving manners, I always stay alert anytime I am in a danfo and alarmed when danfo drivers are chastised by other drivers & road users. Lastly, I am a law student, I dress in white and black most times, I hate entering danfos when I am dressed as such, because by the time I alight from the bus I look like an agbero abusing the profession. My clothes do look rumpled and brownish. You see, the beginning of wisdom is the fear of "Danfos" to boarding cabs and keke napep. |
Sepp360: Few days back, i purposely asked my younger brother how often he washes his towel and the reply he threw back at me kept me wondering.I have been wondering as well; I gloat anytime I see brown or black spots on my towel after intense lather and scrubbing of the body.
