It's an impossible mission, stop giving yourselves false hopes. A seaport cannot be sited on a river, neither would commercial/cargo ships (not boats) be able to sail or berth on the river; it's too shallow; too narrow and comes at an insane cost both financially and environmentally. Don't even think about dredging the Atlantic ocean into the river. I'll just stop there...

Perhaps very soon, the FG would have to dredge the Atlantic ocean up north so they can satisfy northerners as well, since everyone wants a seaport where there is no ocean. The feasible projects haven't been done, it's the extreme ones y'all wanna focus on. Odiegwu! 🤝🏽
its an up hill task trying to educate a flat head wink cheesy sometimes they just throw words around, which they themselves dont know the meaning....he seem not to undetstand that, there is a difference between a sea and a river, they just love to live in self delusion angry

People that are very ment. Throughout the 8 years of Buhari they called him all sort of names and even said he was cloned. They insulted the fulanis. Tinubu is there now and they are still repeating the same thing. They keep doing the same thing all over again and they are expecting change. Is that not madness?
they are wired to think one way....herd mentality. Nigerians are wiser now and wont fall for that emotional blackmail anymore grin

kuku say na Igbos de generate all revenue for Lagos.. nonsense chest beating where is the sea in South East to do seaport... Make una deceive inaself cos one political foreigner de yarn dust
dont mind that clown, always saying nonsense. Lagos has always been a thriving city even before nigeria ever can into existence...and it will forever remain so because of its strategic location.

The break down of how lagos generate their income have be publish herw severally, and the tax paid by those petty 2*2 shop owners is just a little fraction of what the state earn and most of it is collected by the local govt cheesy so i dont understand this noise about ibos being the major tax payer in lagos. Dangote refinary only will useless whatever it is they think they pay in ta not to talk of other multinatinals and also Pay e income tax...this clowns must joking grin

The issue here is disenfranchisement. It's not about you, your opinion doesn't matter. It's about the alienation that Igbo people feel in Nigeria, whether real or imagined. You solve that, by doing the things he talked about. Making everyone feel as though they are a part of the country.

The mere fact that his words agitate you, just gives more credence to them. You should be an advocate of such things as a "Nigerian".

Just like in the 90s, when Yoruba people felt alienated, what did everyone do? They came together and propped up Obasanjo, and Igbo people voted for him in mass. For the sake of making Yoruba feel like they were a part of the country.

Now it's time for reciprocation, and what do you do? You turn around and say, "it's imagined, go solve it yourself, we're not doing anything to you".
grin hahaha when its convinient for you dolt, you shift narratives...the case of obasanjo being rallied around for presidency is quite diffferent. The yorubas contested an election and won but was robbed of that mandate so its only fair for them to be pacified and quit with the lies u ibos have been spreading, ibos never voted abiola, he only won in anambra so stop with the lies. Now comapring that, as a factor of maginalisation is false

Your people suck at politices and to you dolt everything is by being aggressive and you try to bully other in voting your candidate in the last election grin that reallly back fired. After insulting everyone elses and you expect vote from them? Thats just being delutional. Work on yourself and change your arrogant and disrespectful attiude to others if you want things to change or else yall all with coninue to wail.

And finally ibo land is landlock with no access to sea, so i dont understand where all the demand for seaport is coming from. Onne port is functional . You dont have to be in lagos if thats your excuss but the problem of an ibo man is within, call your leaders to accountability and not just focus on the center.

In a sane country, efforts would be made to develop Calabar and Onne ports as Lagos Port, then watch how the migration reverses. People will always say Lagos port was developed by Lagos money, lol, well thats a story for another day. In a country of blind, a one eye man is the King. It is a no brainer why people are not pouring into Ondo, Ogun and Ekiti but choose the overcrowded Lagos.
enough with the excuses abeg, that why your state governor can throw crumbs at you, and you celebrate them. So people are not pouring into ogun and it made it the most industrialized state in the country? And not just ogun, even ibadan so stop saying nonsense. The truth is that, your governor are lazy and cant think outcof the box.

The truth is, lagos has the market and not just the port, onne port and other port are functional and you dont have to come to lagos if thats your reason. Lagos is a progressive state and Sw in general and thats why its still the most progress region in the country. Check most of the NBS stat of GDP and igr aleast you will find 3 Sw states doing well . Sit back home and call your state govt to account for what they do with your state money..lobatan

They won't understand, they will soon tag u IPOB or hater, truth is that Lagos holds enormous potential but a mediocre compared to similar metropolis in Africa. The blur and red lines is an excellent step, hopefully our leaders get it right
smiley we all can see where the hate is coming from, if you are really honest with your views, then we must give state govt some accolades. Regardless of wherever u come from, lagos is faced with the challenge of mass migration from all over the country.

I am an indigene of lagos, born and bred, and it was quite serene not up until the mid 19s when we started have mass influx of people even when the capital had already been moved to abuja. Lagos has been a place that has attracted so many people over the years and the Govt in their thinking, are upgrading our transport infrastures .

If state from wherever it is you came from where doing the same, will there be need for people move out of there place? Now compare the population of lagos to those countries you mentioned and mind you lagos is just a sub national, and you comparing it with countries or cities with lesser population? Make una dey try use una brain think sometimes angry

How about the Yoruba living in Kano., .kaduna, Rivers, Edo, Akwa Ibom.
The Yoruba have invested hugely in Edo state. Go and ask that ugly obaseki.
If you have been to Kaduna and kano you won't say this mumuric statement.
Why would a Yoruba man invest in an erosion infested and a potopoto region? When our region is full of huge potential and ability to attract investors. Apart from Lagos. Oyo and Ogun state alone is enough.
don’t mind those fools. I laugh anytime they make that statement, maybe they think we are fools. I have been to the SE before during my one year mandatory service, I can tell you for free, that Se is a hostile and unproductive place….they have the highest number of internal migration but you will hear them change narratives like” Ibos are explorers grin , they say that just to cover the inadequacies of their leaders in developing their cursed region and be chest beating about development other peoples land… I have never seen such level of stupidity. So I will leave a progressive environment to a retrogressive place cheesy? The trend of japa from east to west says it all grin

Those who don't travel think life starts and ends in Lagos.

Ironically, most of these people invaded Lagos from Ogun and Kwara. If you come to Lagos state and you'll notice that the most vocals are those ogun people who became Lagosian due to boundary adjustment and the invaders from Kwara, Ogun, and Oyo. You'll hardly see people from Ekiti and Ondo constituting nuisance in lagos.
grin flat head how is that your business? Is Lagos in Biafra land? Those state are in yoruba land so as Lagos…. We are one in Sw and we don’t practice your primitive Osu caste system grin
I as an aborigine of Lagos can go and claim ekiti because here artificial boundary don’t separate us so mind your business. I know you pained Lagos can never be in alaibo it belongs to Yoruba. Get that in your flat head😊
