matrixme: Igbos keep misrepresenting us. When a foreign news outlet wants to report this now, they will say a Nigerian woman sold her grandchild for 65 dollars. Notwithstanding the fact that an hausa, Fulani, yoruba, tiv, birom, jukun or any of the other 200 plus tribes cannot think of this despicable evil irrespective of the level of poverty in the country. Shame!!!
How is this any different from a business transaction? A baby bought for a price, irrespective of the circumstances. Don't other tribes give birth out of wedlock too? Why don't they sell their own babies leave the idiot let him continue to justify crime to suit is narrative, na there way be that. The support all forms of crime in as much as it is been committed by one of them. |

Just be careful there because they still do cannibalism, especially in Imo and Abia you are right 💯% even when I was in the camp in Abia bende local govt, we heard that cannibalism is still practiced there, and I could remember most of the corper had to redeploy because of the rumours we were hearing then, so I am not surprised the still eat humans like the cannibalistic savages they are, that’s why it’s only ibos that lives in that Jungle! |

onumadu: This story get K-leg but let me try to guess what REALLY happened. A mother was deeply ashamed that her daughter gave birth at home (i.e out of wedlock) and was desperate to cover the shame. She finds a woman willing to adopt the baby, and the adopting woman gave her a token of 50k. This is what usually happens to churcheous families where women would rather kill their daughters than accept their out of wedlock babies. It is a foreign culture that took hold in Igboland. Before this foreign culture took hold, all babies (whether born in or out of wedlock ) were valued and appreciated in Igboland. The sooner Igbo people start going back to their original culture on these types of things, the better for them. Else these types of stories will even grow more horns and tails in the future. A word is enough .... see how you shamelessly justify crime just because it happened in Alaibo? Honestly an average ibo man lacks shame. So because the girl gave birth out of wedlock she has the right to sell the baby and you termed it adoption? Well I am not even surprised anymore because you pigs are not worthy of being called humans but pigs! Spit |

Nigerianfactor: This continuous disruption of certain markets should stop. Some have no choice than begin to read meanings to the closures; that it is politically motivated to punish those who didn't vote for them in the last election and to punish some non indigenes.
The Trade Fair that I know is one of the cleanest markets in Lagos State. If Alaba, Trade Fair and Aspamda are dirty, imagine the term you will use for Alayabiagba, Mushin, Jankara, Agege, Ile Epo, Oshodi, Odo-eran, Abbatoir and other perennially dirty markets. They will never close those ones. But then, APC government of Lagos have their eyes fixated on some markets for political and revenue purposes. Instead of closing entire markets, why not go after sanitation offenders. It makes no sense closing my street just because there are some sanitation offenders there. That is collective punishment. In which part of the civilized world do they do things this way? so the mile 12 market in Ketu is dominated by Ibos right? The market was just reopened some days ago but we didn’t hear noise, indeed you bunch are just some dirty pig, same people that are quick to call Lagos a over hyped slum, but tell them to leave our slum for us,No they rather die here and have there bodies buried back home because that’s what that God forsaken land is good for…Arindin |

yoruboid: Like there aren’t ports in Warri, Portharcourt and Calabar already
Igbos are responsible for less than 20% of imports
Apart from petroleum products, over 65% of imports end up between Lagos, Ogun and Oyo while 20% go to the north and even Niger republic
It was the same hallucinations they had when Enugu Airport was made international and they claimed Lagos Airport will lose traffic
Just leave… No one wants you don’t mind the chest beating idiot, we have told them several times that what they into is just a small fraction compared to import of raw materials for industries in our industrial clusters in Lagos, Ogun and oyo but this block heads lacks education and love to live in delusion, ask they to leave Lagos now and return back home so that Lagos can suffer like they wish, but they will rather die here than return back to alaibo alive…I have never seen a bunch of empty noise maker louder than the Nyamiris😂 |

Guyman01: Nigeria is now in a situation where under Buhari northerners controlled and ran down the economy, now Tinubu's supporters (not majority Yorubas) are doing the same, I don't know if this is what they meant by advising Igbos to build political bridges through embracing nepotism as long as your brother is in charge. Obasanjo, Yar'adua and Jonathan spread out their appointments with regards to economy and the results are there for all to see.
Obasanjo a Yoruba and Jonathan an Ijaw were even lampooned with accusations of Igbos dominating their economic management teams who successfully paid off ALL our foreign debts and left behind excess crude revenues account which was depleted by Buhari with his nepotic administrators after which he went on a borrowing spree to a point that 30% of next year's budget will be used to service part of our debts. Dollar is $1200 today hahaha see pain and lamentation, so when Jonathan was appointing Ibo right, left and centre that wasn’t nepotism? You dolt like to change narrative when it suits your evil agenda. The same economy that started nosediving under jona which the then finance minister gave several earning and nothing changed and we can feel the effect of that bad economy policy till today? I guess you think you are talking to toddlers, even if any group are complaining, you ibos have no moral right to do so, so far he has satisfied the constitutional requirement of give out ministerial positions to every region the rest are in his discretion to appoint people he can trust to do the job. If he fails then you can cry all you want….you can’t give hate and effect love in return, and that has been the obstacle working against your people who are a group of hate and bitter filled people😂 |
