obailala: The original post of this thread which came up this morning did not give any single detail of what transpired (you can go back and read it). So all I said was that without further details, we cant make any conclusions, simple.
The link you posted above is from a different thread where more details were provided.
This story in this thread has enough information to show it was not a killing done in self defence and therefore unjustifiable... that's the point. The only killing that can be justified under the law is one done in self defence and there must be a real threat to the life of the one who kills from the one who is killed...
obailala: The story did not give a single detail of what transpired. So without further info, we cannot say what the real story is, period! People should learn to stop making assumptions and drawing conclusions based on their made up assumptions.
The 2 sentence story by the OP does not tell us anything about whether it was self defense or not.
You don't know the meaning of self defence... or you are accusing the op of embellishing the facts because it was not stated that the lady tried to kill him which led to him fighting back to save his life.. you are the one assuming the unsuggested and unstated. The killer went with a knife to the victim's house for crying out loud!
Check the eye witness account given by victim's mother below
obailala: The point I made is that neither you nor I know the real story. So there's no point making assumptions and then arriving at conclusions based on a single scanty story.
..but then again, just to respond to what you just said. YES, I will resort to self help if the situation and my life depends on it.
So is this particular case one of self defence? Did you read the story at all ? Was his life in danger at that material time ? Answer is no.. it was not a necessary act to preserve his life.. he could've gone to the police to report any crime (if any) by the deceased against him... no justification..
obailala: What the person you quoted said is very valid. No one here knows the real story, and until then, the ehoke report means nothing.
...and yes, murder can sometimes be justified.
So we should all resort to self help Would you be alive if your "motion" were to be "adopted" What of the possibility of revengers acting under a wrong impression Yours is a recipe for anarchy and complete breakdown of law and order
cherishmichael: One side story, this can not just be the whole story, though he is wrong, but when something happens like this we should learn to know and relate from both sides. At the end , the diseased might be wrong and even be the cause.
And that justifies murder Your post really sucks !!!
thou there are drug for it, but the major cause of hormonal imbalance is stress - mostly relationship and financial stress.

Hormonal imbalance triggered by sex right? She's never experienced delayed menstruation remember? She should both pray hard (maybe beyond physical) and still see a doctor
smile11s: Billionaire Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos had slammed a Nigerian college professor Uju Anya who tweeted that she hoped Queen Elizabeth II's 'pain be excruciating' hours before she died aged 96.
Uju Anya is a 'anti racist' teacher and associate professor at the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - and sparked outrage after her vicious tweet about the ailing monarch, calling her the head of a 'thieving, raping, genocidal empire.'
She probably is emotionally scarred due to the biafra war and blames Britain for the human tragedy on the biafra side due to Britain's support for Nigeria. Might've lost dear ones then. She needs emotional healing and also needs to "forgive"
Wait oo, abi na my eye?? One of them shared same name with Emilokan's running mate....high-ranking Boko Haram commanders, including Abou Hauwa, (Munzir) Amir Shettima, Akura Buri (Nakif), Abou Zainab, Abou Idris and their foot soldiers
I think "shettima" is the name of a town or village in borno... I stand to be corrected
Driving is necessitated by the police force not being adequately equipped.
The aim is the same and the differences in our economies MUST NOT make us lawless.
You miss the point. Most unprofessional and risky to tell a suspect to drive to the police station... who has the wheels? Who determines the destination?
Okay.. Ask a professional journalist for an expert opinion then.. since you think I'm wrong. Or just keep writing headlines like that. Whatever works for you. God bless
paragon40: May the old gods and the new gods be with you.
Firstly the old gods being "old" are now outdated and irrelevant Secondly the new gods by virtue of the precedent of the old gods are also fast approaching"retirement" The only relevant God is the One who is the same yesterday today and forever... Of whom it is written "You changeth not"... And "from everlasting to everlasting Thou art God" Yahweh the Almighty... Father of all spirits... The Creator-God, El Olam (Everlasting God)... Father of Jesus Christ the Heir of creation... Even Britain jettisoned the old and new gods (actually demons is a better description)
In expounding this book’s seventh chapter, Cyprian F. Edward-Ekpo touched on the pragmatic sense of Atiku’s Five-Point Agenda is examined – on how he hopes to achieve same, and what methodology for the achievement. The Agenda has stated its commitment to achievement through:
- Restoration of Nigeria’s unity through equity, social justice as well as co-operation and consensus amongst heterogeneous people. - Establishment of a strong and effective democratic government that guarantees the safety and security of life and property. - Building of a strong, resilient and prosperous economy that creates jobsand wealth and lift the poor out of poverty. - Improvement and strengthening of the education system to equip its recipients with the education and skills required to be competitive in the new global order which is driven by innovation, science and technology and to lead healthy, productive, and meaningful lives.
5 point agenda but only 4 points are stated in this story
Demon spirit overwhelmed his will and told him to do it.. I'm sure he'll say he heard a voice that commanded him to use her head for pepper soup.. so many people are hearing and obeying demon voices yet functioning well in society. Several deliverance cases untreated
