Computers / Power Banks For Laptops by sonofthunder: 5:39am On Mar 28 |
Does anyone know about power Banks for Laptops or where I can buy one? I need this because power supply in my area of residence is very poor. If it's available I'll prefer the brand or product type but can also consider if they are assembled/constructed. Just something I can plug a 13amps plug into for my laptop and maybe mobile phone. |

Politics / Re: APC Kicks As Adeleke Unveils Panel To Probe Oyetola’s Contracts by sonofthunder: 1:54pm On Mar 22 |
Janegreg: Of course. It doesn't avail him. I keep telling people that you cannot trace the problem of Nigeria. My point is that Aregbesola borrowed money to look good, I equally praised him at first being ignorant of the consequences of his actions. Is it Oyetola that will tell Aregbe not to borrow? My fear is that by the four year mark, this man (MJ 😂) will turn out worse than the previous two leaders we are criticising. Anyone that's guilty should rot in jail including the person calling for probes. He's already playing the card of having the past administration as scapegoats instead of seeing what valuable achievement he could make. That shouldn't be his primary focus as the success from that requires minimal attention and has little to do to improve the life of the citizens. |

Politics / Re: APC Kicks As Adeleke Unveils Panel To Probe Oyetola’s Contracts by sonofthunder: 6:33am On Mar 22 |
Gadafii: You need to consider Oyetola's failure through the eyes of his predecessors excesses and unperceived failure. Oyetola tried to stop borrowing and clear the backlogs that was being owned hence why I find it difficult to criticise him. Aregbesola was trying to build an airport that I didn't know how the state or the airport itself was going to be self sustaining. Despite Aregbesola's successes, he still had several failed projects |

zealousayo: I haven't asked him to stop dancing. Let him work. Him dancing or not dancing is the same stupidity from almost all the governor's from 1999 till date. And yes he's going to two years and I meant to type over a year. Being a failed leader is a stupendous milestone to achieve. I want to read about governors that make substantial and sustainable improvements not dancing or building statue will citizens are dying from easily preventable ailments. The fact that you couldn't point to any reasonable achievement of his points to my fear that the man is currently failing and will most likely not Change the status quo. |
Politics / Re: APC Kicks As Adeleke Unveils Panel To Probe Oyetola’s Contracts by sonofthunder: 5:30am On Mar 22 |
Ofunaofu: This man has been governor over two years now and the only nationally recognized achievements are claiming glory for past projects, borehole and dancing. Nigeria would remain a comic book Modified: over a year not two years. |

twosquare: I'm not against you here. Just trying to get a clearer picture. Before when it rose drastically, it wasn't only because of demand, companies also accepted it for payments. Now I don't think more companies/organisations are thinking crypto payments. Still the same old especially for those with considerable amount of transactions that could cause changes in the market. Many of us don't have the discipline and we keep jumping in. I'm just anticipating future tears and a few more crypto millionaires. You seem quite versed in the world of crypto currencies and what give. 2 Likes 1 Share |

twosquare: Okay but then from your exposition, it seems that it's not a case of bitcoin gaining wider use for transactions but people buying to stock hence the rise will not be sustainable and may be intentionally influenced. This is my personal problem with crypto currencies as unless you have the right timing to buy and sell, ordinary masses who involve themselves will always get themselves burnt. 99% of people who own crypto in Nigeria don't use it to pay for anything. They only buy and sell it based on guesses and probability. |

GloriousGbola: The issue is not so much about when it was negotiated but how long after the negotiations were they paid? Why did they delay in moving to site after they received first payment? I know many smaller contractors that have been guilty of what they are trying to pull off. Some legitimate and others scavengers |
Politics / Re: Umahi Threatens To Revoke Benin-Sapele-Ologbo Road Contract Over Shoddy Job by sonofthunder: 11:08am On Mar 10 |
GloriousGbola: Is it Umahi that delayed their mobilisation to site? According to Umahi, they have been mobilised, the contractors apparently delayed and now want to renegotiate the entire contract including what they have already been paid for. Unless the payments came late, then they have no excuses |

Honeysweetest: Thanks ma'am...... Other experienced folks in the house should kindly share their take. Good day house, I recently joined the Express Entry pool and will like some advice/guidance to avoid errors and possibly increase my scores. My scores currently stand at 464points and I shouldn't be losing points via age for another 9/10 months. 1.) My appointment letter doesn't include job roles, just indicating that I have been appointed to a certain role. Should this be a concern? 2.) I currently entered the pool as sales Engineer for NOC 62100 – Technical sales specialists - wholesale trade. Does it qualify as a stem related NOC. I'm asking against stem draws. I believe I can also switch to 21301 – Mechanical engineers. Please advice. 3.) If I receive an invitation to apply, would I need to submit Job reference for all my listed employments/NOCs or just my primary NOC? I would like to know so I do not give myself unnecessary stress with documentation. 4.) Can POF funds be provided in multiple accounts? E.g naira and dollar or savings and mutual funds. 5.) Is there a link that indicates the NOCs considered for Stem draws? Kindly share please. 6.) I added 16months work experience from my father's company where I'm also listed as a shareholder 15% of total shares. Hope this isn't an issue. 7.) Kindly advise how I can improve my scores or be better qualified for PNPs. I have a sibling in Alberta but they've put their draws on hold and I'm yet to get good evidence that they previously selected Sales Engineer/Mechanical Engineers or any other NOCs I may qualify for in their provincial draws. I really anticipate your guidance guys. |
