The moment you start to pretend your opinion should be law for others, you cross over from being a partner to being a power hungry egomaniac. It is that simple! undecided

2. Additionally, feeling you need to clean up after other adults is a sign of deep emotional trauma on your part. I suggest you look into that. undecided
Exactly. The opinion of the bride was to showcase a lack of piety and inability to embrace others.

The groom was so evidently not emotionally damaged hence the decision to end the marriage.

The lady seemed only interested in the wedding ceremony and the guy seemed more interested in what adds value and meaningfulness.

He cancelled the marriage because he could not get his own sister into the woman's bridal train? 😏

Anyways, red flag na red flag! They both dodged a bullet there and should count themselves lucky. grin

Women, please stop marrying controlling men. Your worth to these types of men comes down to whether they can control you or not. And the end is never good as your beings are reduced to near nothing by all of that control. Go ask your mothers and grandmothers for details on that. sad
Yes. Never marry a woman that cannot be persuaded, especially by you as the husband.

She'll never listen to your opinion and will always run off to do whatever pleases her and you'll always clean after her mess.

RKTexpert:
A few months ago, I applied for a training program funded by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE). The program is the Rural Employment Promotion (REP) initiative, under the Fish Production and Feed Formulation Training Scheme (FPFFTS) with a focus on Fish Production, specifically in the Abuja chapter.

Today, I received an email confirming that I have been shortlisted. I’m curious to see how it goes, as my main interest is the potential access to loan credits that could help grow my investments. The certification, of course, will also look impressive on the wall of my agro office.

Right now, I’m harnessing every resource I can from; personal savings, trainings, business name registration and with agribusiness feasibility plan to shape my agro start-up into a strong and stable venture with a focus on both crop and livestock production.

There will be another round of training by NDE, should you are interested I will let y'all know when the time comes
How can someone apply for this? Is the ongoing, periodic, or one off?
TravelRe: Passport Of Corruption: How ₦100k Became ₦150k In Nigeria’s Immigration Offi!!!! by sonofthunder: 11:40am On Sep 06, 2025
africaBlogworld:
Passport Fee: ₦100k Law, ₦150k Demand

The Federal Government of Nigeria recently announced that the new cost of an international passport would be ₦100,000.
Yet, when ordinary Nigerians approach the immigration service, they are told to bring ₦150,000 or risk endless delays. This is not just a case of inefficiency, it is daylight extortion.

Why should Nigerians pay more than the official fee? Why is there always an extra “hidden cost” in our institutions?

The sad truth is that this quiet robbery has become normal. No one is talking, no one is protesting, and those meant to serve the people are the very ones exploiting them.

This is more than about passports, it is a reflection of the moral decline in our public service. When corruption is legalized at the desk, what hope is left for the ordinary citizen?
The people who pay for these extra amounts that are unlawful often even brag on hie they paid extra and got what they wanted quickly (Express).

They'll shame you for following due process.

This makes these immigration agents to feel like they are doing the right thing. They are often surprised (and also angry) when they discover you did you application DIY.

It’s obvious you can’t read and understand. So, what nonsense point are you trying to make? Can’t you read and understand?
So is there plans for any levies/tax on fuel?

How much is it?

When does it take effect ?

Between the federal and the subnational governments who is closer to the people? Major projects my the subnationals will have more direct impact. They are getting the money but they are not spending it rightly and every attention is on FGN.
Of course I agree with that and the question covers all.

I think we give zero attention to LG performance.

The state government are the biggest culprits. They simply pay salaries and do mostly bogus projects then they seat on the LGs. The FG is culpable but other layers of government are probably worse than them.

AgricultureRe: Buzz Into Beekeeping: A Sweet Venture For Profit And Passion In Nigeria. by sonofthunder: 10:42am On Aug 29, 2025
Sidof1212:
The Sweet Rewards and Challenges of Beekeeping: Why You Should Start Today?

Ready to tap into a buzzing world of opportunity? Beekeeping isn’t just about honey it’s a rewarding, eco-friendly, and profitable venture perfect for Nigerians looking to blend passion with a steady income.
Let’s explore the advantages and disadvantages of beekeeping and why it’s a golden opportunity for you to start right now.

Advantages of Beekeeping

Multiple Income Streams: Beekeeping is a hive of possibilities! Sell honey, beeswax, pollen, propolis, or even royal jelly. You can also offer pollination services to local farmers or sell starter bee colonies.
With Nigeria’s growing demand for natural, locally sourced bee products, your market is ripe!

Low Startup Costs: You don’t need millions to start. A few hives, basic equipment, and a small plot of land or even a backyard can get you buzzing. Compared to other businesses, beekeeping is affordable with high returns.

Environmental Impact: Bees are nature’s heroes, pollinating crops like okra, watermelon, and cocoa that drive Nigeria’s agriculture. As a beekeeper, you’re not just earning you’re boosting food security and saving the planet.

Flexible and Scalable: Whether you’re a student, farmer, or an entrepreneur, beekeeping fits your schedule. Start small with one hive or scale up for bigger profits, it’s your choice!

Health Benefits: Honey and bee products are packed with health-boosting properties, perfect for Nigeria’s wellness conscious consumers. Plus, beekeeping gets you outdoors, connecting with nature, which is great for your mind and body.

Community and Learning: Join Nigeria’s vibrant beekeeping community, from local associations to online groups, where you’ll share tips and grow your skills. You’ll never stop learning about these amazing creatures!

Disadvantages of Beekeeping:
Beekeeping requires knowledge of bee behavior, hive management, and pest control. But with training from experts, you’ll master it in no time!

Initial Time Investment: Setting up hives and monitoring them takes effort, especially in the first year. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s as easy as harvesting pure honey!

Risk of Stings: Yes, bees sting, but with protective gear and proper techniques, it’s no big deal. Think of it as a small price for sweet rewards!

Weather and Pest Challenges: Nigeria’s rainy season or pests like varroa mites and wax moths can affect hives.

Competition: The honey market is growing, but standing out is easy with unique branding, like packaging pure, organic honey from your region or creating beeswax soaps and candles.

Why Beekeeping is a Consistent Income Source in Nigeria Beekeeping is a sweet deal for Nigerians!
The demand for honey and bee products is booming, with Nigeria importing tons of honey annually. A single healthy hive can produce 20–45 kg of honey yearly, selling for ₦10,000–₦18,000 per kg organic Honey. Add beeswax candles, pollination services for farms, or even beekeeping workshops, and you’ve got a business that keeps paying. Bees are low-maintenance workers they do the heavy lifting! With Nigeria’s rich biodiversity and year-round flowering plants, your hives can thrive, delivering consistent cash flow as a side hustle or full-time venture.

Ready to Start Your Beekeeping Journey in Nigeria? Beekeeping is more than a business it’s a lifestyle that blends profit, purpose, and passion. You are getting it wrong. A citizen should not be saving towards an international passport. You save towards, a car, land, home ownership.

Things like passport and other documentation like birth certificate, your license etc should be thoughtless decisions that you don't save towards.

That's just the truth.

There was a thread yesterday that compared the minimum wages of different countries to their passport fee, of all the countries I went through, the percentage was less than 20% of minimum wage but Nigeria was over 140% of the the minimum wage.

Anybody earning 100k or less cannot own a passport unless someone assists them or they have little to no financial obligations in terms of rent, feeding and transportation to work.

If you want to make sales on kdp, think like the readers.

The readers are mostly from US, Europe, UK, Asia, etc, so ask yourself what topic readers from these aforementioned countries would love to read about?

It must be something relevant and unique to those audience, if not you will struggle to make a sale.

Also blogging will help you if you start blogging about your topics and adding links of your kdp books in your blog posts to refer people back to your books. It worked for me back then.

There are many other methods to increase your sales

Then meet an expert/consultant to guide you on how to set up instead of acting like you don't know why you bought them.

1 unit Ricoh MP C4503 printer
2 units Sharp MX-6240N DI printers
1 unit Sharp MX-8090N DI printer

Quintessence44:
I've been inside metro trains all over the world.

But Lagos city metro trains are a different class.

Extremely clean inside.

Back when they were still building this project, many predicted that the whole thing would be ruined by dirty Lagosians packing their market wares and all this funny stuff into the train.

Some said people would even carry their goats and hens that they're selling into the trains etc.

But the network has been up for some years now, and expanding with new lines, yet, with no sign of such deterioration.

In fact the opposite is the case.

In cleanliness, Lagos trains and train stations surpass what you'll see in London, New York and all these places.

I think we underestimate ourselves too much in this country.
