Romance / Re: The Lie Behind "Men Do Not Like Women Who Use (too Much) Make Up". by SonOfUbunja: 1:56pm On Oct 20, 2019
I don't really know If there's a thing like "high maintenance", but if I am not spending my money on her then someone else is doing so, and "he who pays the piper dictates the tune" for this reason, I urge my girlfriend to be comfortable spending my money without feeling like she's high maintenance.

Why do single men pray for a chaste virgin when they are not virgins themselves?

What is this fascination with having a woman 'no man has touched,' but you have touched many yourself?
same reason women pray for rich men when they are not rich themselves

Did you read where I said, he should learn a skill/trade and make use of the money for such afterwards? I bet, you didn't. Even if it's selling of data as someone suggested, he must learn the ropes. It's not proper and advisable to delve into biz you have no idea about.

This doesn't change the fact that you didn't offer him any advice on what business to start; hence, failing to answer the real question. You basically just gave academic advice as a professor in the university will.

on the contrary to some comments here this is one of the best business advice I have seen online.

First, what is your passion?
[s]
Second, develop your passion

Third, create a biz out of your passion

Fifth, if you can't develop your passion to create a biz, go an learn a skill you like.

Lastly, safe the money till you are done with the skill/trade. Don't, I repeat, don't lend anyone, else, OYO[/s]

This is just academics. No practical advise given

It does causes arousal and intimacy issues. You'll wish you went bald instead.
Romance / Re: Ladies, What Is The Most Annoying Question A Guy Has Ever Asked You? by SonOfUbunja: 8:38pm On Sep 08, 2019
XhosaNostra:
Lol, I have this thing...I'm not sure what to call it (an aura perhaps?) that makes people do & say weird things.
I cannot speak of social media experiences because I'm not big on that. However, I could write a book on the craziest things I've seen & heard in my waking life.

One time I was having a random conversation with a tattoo artist in my area. Out of the blue, he asked if I wanted to see his penìs tattoo & before I could grasp out a response, Jack was already out of the pulpit. It was just bizarre. I didn't find that particular incident annoying though. What I find annoying is the fact that people seem to feel (free?) enough around me to say & do inappropriate things. I'm not talking only about people I'm acquainted with (like the tattoo guy), but also random strangers I don't know from Adam. I've seem more penìses than a whòrehouse wench. Strangely enough, this didn't start now. We moved from my early childhood home because my father beat up a neighbour for exposing himself to me. I believe I was 8 or 9 at the time. It has happened so often that now I almost expect it & that's the annoying part of it.

Hahahhahahaha.... This really cracked me up.
So you're a magnet for penìs situations. That's a whole new level of strange.

Family / Re: I'm Worried About My Son's Behaviour. Is He Normal? by SonOfUbunja: 8:16am On Aug 21, 2019
jess2019:
My son will be 9 in October but his behaviour bothers me so much. He acts like a day dreamer. He has turned me into a shouting and miserable mum as I had to beat him after I've exhausted other punishment options. To make this short, I'm going to summarise his behaviour.

He still cannot get himself ready for school in the morning. Either he doesnt cream his body or forgets to comb his hair or doesnt brush his teeth. He forgets to brush his teeth almost everyday. This made me to make a list of step by step sticker. I sticked this on their bathroom mirror and on his bedroom wall. Yet I have to keep reminding him everyday. For example, last week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday he forgot to brush his teeth and hair. I have to constantly be reminding him every morning. He is the only one that brushes teeth after getting ready. I trained them to brush teeth first before shower but he keeps forgetting.

I have to remind him to do his homework, and put it back in his school bag to return to school on Mondays. The book will still not make it to the school even after constant reminder. We've lost countless of lunch bags. One ended up on school roof. If you give him any form to submit back to his teacher. He will forget in his bag so I now give it to his sister to give to his teacher.

He removes his clothes, shoes, pants, belts etc and leave them on the floor, I bought two laundry baskets for him. One in his room, another in their bathroom, yet all his belongings end up on the floor that you can hardly find a space to put a foot. I dont expect him to be perfect but atleast to try so that his 70% clothes make it to the basket or shoes to their racks. He also has a book shelf and desk yet they also end up on the floor.

He plays so much that sometimes he leaves shops with items in his hands. So I have to always watch out for him. Living in a western country where black boys are stereotyped I fear for him. He can stare at the ceiling for hrs when getting ready for school or spend long time in the shower yet not using soap on his body. This usually makes us late unless I step in to help or keep shouting.

If you ask him to do any house chores, he will not do it instead waiting for us to forget so he can get away with it. When grounded not to watch TV, he will still do it once he knows am inside my room or busy with a baby.

Yesterday we revised all his lesson assignments (5 work books). I specifically asked him to put them in his lesson bag. I pointed at the bag. Now I drop him at the lesson only for him to say oh I think I came with old lesson books. I dont know how he ended up with old books in his bag. It could be he planned it as a way to avoid the lesson. If not I wonder how he will remember it himself as soon as I drop him and his sister as this is unlike him.

I've taken him to a doctor incase there is any diagnosis so I can give him all the help he needs but they said it's just his behaviour because according to the doctor he is smart academically. He is 18months ahead of his year level. So they ruled ADHD out.

Lol. This is exactly how I was when I was a kid. Your boy's personality maybe campaigner, read on Google how to raise a campaigner kid.
Romance / Re: Why Is Mama Ndidi (selling Plantain) Still Holding Her Marriage Of 20 Yrs by SonOfUbunja: 2:24pm On Aug 20, 2019
Pascopele:
Why is Mama Ndidi (selling Plantain) still holding her Marriage of 20 yrs, but Joy (Bank Manager) is divorced after 4 yrs?
Discuss
Joy is married to her bank job. At the end of the day, she's fagged out from dealing with annoying customers, corporate targets and possibly an annoying boss.
Joy leaves home 6am to get to the office before 7.30am(if she's in Lagos) but doesn't get back home till 9pm. Her body is weak from the stress so sex and intimacy for her has become "an obligation to her husband" so it's basically boring. Mama Ndidi is always ready to roll and available.
Joy spends her best hours in the bank and gives the left over to her family, Mama Ndidi does the opposite.

Joy will not want to "accommodate" flaws in her husband because when women have money they start to feel they don't need men. This is so because most women chose their spouse based on money, prospect or security and not necessarily love. So when you can give yourself the one thing you marry another for the marriage starts to become tiring.

Joy's husband could be a lieing, cheating unfaithful mofo (Joy could have seen this if she wasn't looking at how much more he has or will have), while mama Ndidi got a great man with not so much money.

Joy's husband could be a boring woman beater with no vision than to have his wife take care of him, Mama Ndidi might have gotten a man that's hardworking and committed to her but short of opportunities.

Joy's village people could be alive and active.
