radautoworks:With the password and username stated there? I will do so |
Famzed:0805 400 0079 |
aieromon:Silverbird tv every Monday at 3pm |
radautoworks:No, but I have bought Dexron 6 from your outlet sometime ago and I have Glen phone number but I don’t know what else is being sold there. Maybe one day I will bring my TV crew Autoxpat to come and showcase your products on our Dstv platform STV |
radautoworks:For sellers to be competitive, they will have to sell the oils same price and add transportation. When I was selling Pureguard transmission fluid, I was sending to everyone in any city and they pay for the transportation. For the golf owner to ask for the right oils means that he is restricted in wherever he is to the quality of oils that is available in his location. It was the reason why I said you should let us know the oils you sell in your outlet and let me make reference to you any time there is a need for solution |
The Range Rover sport dashboard that is pictured here is a 2009 model and not 2013. Maybe it was upgraded to 2012. On thé driver door, you will be able to read the year of manufacture. The amber light on the dashboard is telling you that you have a problem with the air suspension hence it is permanently on and the likely fault is the air compressor . There are good power steering fluids in Benin and I will suggest that you go to Otopec at Airport Road and there is a man that sells good products there. Ask him for Johnsen power steering oil. Then I will send you a number in Benin who will help you put your car in order after your reply |
drmuchin:Nor vex. Look for the oil grade |

Madam, you have been speaking in tongues lately. Abi ink don finish for your phone? My generator oil that used to be 1k à litre is now 1700 for the API sd variant and it is hard to make up our mind to buy it talk less of buying oils above 25k. We are all involved in this matter and so let us know the oils in your shop so that we will know where to turn to for our oil needs. I am always wondering what is the difference between Mobil 1 0w40 USA and Egypt. I serviced a Mercedes yesterday and I had to use the USA variant of the mobil I which is totally different from the Egypt variant. Why are we still getting the Egypt version when we have stopped buying Mercedes from Europe? |
drmuchin:I have seen Helix engine oil on the Island especially at AP awolowo road Ikoyi. 0w30 is ideal for your golf. For the transmission fluid, Addinol, Liqui Molly is your best bet. I once bought transmission fluid from Trade fair for 7 speed Mercedes. I decided to scan the barcode and even though the can showed transmission fluid, the code showed that it was a brake fluid. The seller quickly told the bike man to bring it back and never brought another one. The reason why I am telling you this is to be wary of the VW gear oils being sold in Itire. You are on your own in that matter |
wizkidblogger:The federal government has no power to increase the price. It is a state matter. |
easysunny:I once tried it on a Rangerover and it dried up quickly to my annoyance. The 5w30 variant though. The local mobil 1 is not even for your car because they have 5w30 and 0w40. There is the Mobil I for Honda, Toyota and Nissan. Go for that.Give your car a treat and use the good oil for it and it will serve you well by reducing your fuel consumption and prolonging the life of your engine |
diportivo:Na American oils we dey talk about and you must speak English to sell the oils. |
dru23:Good movement with Penzoil. You are battling with too many competition in the mobil section and you are running into another section. Try Extreme synthetic blend and you will see the solution to Toyota problem. Extreme is made by Syngard whose technology is given to Valvoline and many others and until two years ago, was made available exclusively to my workshop till we finished it |
And mind you that the Range Rover Evoque stated that we must use 5w30 and recommended Castrol up to 2018 models and it is for an engine that the cost of replacement according to Coscharis billing, will buy 2 toks 2015 Corolla, is the uber Corolla 5w30 going to use the same oil because they are both 2.0 engines? Motul is sold in the USA, so also is Ravenol and I don’t know for Addinol but their 5w30 is GF 5 and energy conserving while the 5w20 is resource conserving. |
Dododawa01:Hmmm you are right but Toyota recommended 5w30 without stating synthetic, according to you and they went further to tell us that it must be gasoline engine, added the starburst sign with a clincher that it must be energy conserving. I don’t know if there’s any oil that fits that description that is not fully synthetic. As for Addinol and also for Ravenol, both German oils, they are touted to be one of the best oils in the world. Addinol is 3 years old in the country but those who bring in Ravenol says people don’t want to buy because it is very expensive. As for Toyota engines drying up the oils being used is a thing of concern and most gurus here will always say it’s an engine defect without offering any solution. Must every Toyota engine be ringed to eliminate this major problem or do we allow 20w50 engine oils to take care of the problem? The solution to the oil shortage or dryness is what we should all join hands to resolve. |
dru23:Is the bone biscuit bone or cow bone? I am not your competitor as I have never for once imported a litre of oil. When I talk about Addinol and other European brands, I am concerned about the Toyota. With all the hype of being reliable, why are the engines drying the oils? My first experience was when I used Oando 5w40 as it was then to service a 2008 Camry and it dried up after a month and the owner changed it to Mobil xhp and it was fine. Another time I used EP on a 2013 Camry and thank God that the owner was there when we bought the oil from Gazzzuz and it also dried up after 2 months. The man refused to bring that car to me anymore because I recommended the oil that dries to him. In my search for European oils, I studied and observed the sync with Toyota engines. It works for them and even though it does not have starburst or energy conserving, it is not drying up and therefore protecting the environment and our pockets. I was once sent a catalogue by Ravenol and that is one of the most expensive oils in the world and except for Bentley that uses 15 liters of oil, how long will it be sold out? Okay I will rephrase my English, it is not advisable to use EP for your Toyota. I was thinking in French when I wrote it. Those Jumia sellers can be mischievous sometimes but they sell higher than any other outlets Addinol oil is a German brand and I have met the Germans when they came to my office to talk about the market. They don’t see any competition in our local market. At my request, they now brought in 8 and 9 speed transmission fluids and it has done well for our repairs industry |

As you can see, these 3 engine oils quoted are European oils and the fourth oil is Favoil from the Uk which I have tested on both a Range Rover and a Toyota. On a Rangerover, It dried up after a month while on the Sienna, six months after , no shortage. The sienna is a 3.5 engine while the Rangerover is a 4.4 engine. I have used addinol for all brands and it’s still the same level. Liqui Molly is now SN plus but I am yet to access it properly |
weyreypey:That is why we should be very careful where we buy these oils. There are a lot of people that have no stake in the industry. All they do is to adulterate popular brands. Cepsa has lost the market share to Mobil because of the introduction of the Mobil Xhp API SN |
dru23:You want to sell your products by deceiving yourself. Mobil has not in their wildest dream has ever thought of recommending extended performance oils for Toyota. They created mobil 1 for Honda, Nissan and Toyota. Another oil is all season oil for Toyota. If a rangerover 4.4 v8 recommends Castrol edge 5w30 for up to 2009 models, is it the same oil that a 2007 Camry or your Kia Rio that’s recommended for it? If Range-rover recommended 5w20 for their 2010 V8, 5.0 engine, will you recommend the same oil for a 2.7 4 cylinder Toyota engine? A 2.0 engine of an Evoque up to 2018 still uses 5w30 oil, is the oil in the same category with a 2007 Corolla 2.0? There are people selling Mobil 1 for Toyota on jumia and they don’t come to Nairaland to market their products, they pay for advertising on jumia and they are taken very seriously on that platform. Deceiving people that they can use extended performance on their compact engines is like telling a Toyota Corolla owner that he needs premium fuel for his Toyota. |
weyreypey:Bros, I have never bought the oil but I recall seeing it in some big garages and they are always boasting that it came from Dubai until I showed them the place of manufacture and I believe that the adulterated gangs got the info at the same time and started doing their own version of the oil and the demand for the oil ebbed and Mobil came out with their XHP API SN which finally relegated the demand for Cepsa. Mobil XHP is now above 8k while Cepsa is sold less than that. |
DonnyE:+234 805 509 2014. Call them and they will give you better information |
chukel:What has changed in 2021? Are we now using Euro 5 or 6 petrol or Oando is now producing extended performance engine oil? The situation is still the same. The Range Rover pilled up in Coscharis workshop were also based on my toxicity. Come and fix one with your ideas and let us know how far. |
Conner44:Na so we see am o |
valarinz:I did not mention you and I don’t know why you are pained. All you are soliciting for is for him to come to your place. I am not a Volvo mechanic and if you know you are good, tell him and not take offense over the fact that there’s a guru out there that knows Volvos more than you do without coming online to solicit for clients. No body charges for scanning cars anymore. |
chronos00:You may be right but like he stated, he just bought the car and any car that uses our fuel for the first time has check engine light comes up especially if you are using a car that requires premium fuel. Buying a Volvo and go and stand in a noisy, dirty place because you have the parts there does not mean that there are experts there, the guy I recommended worked with Doyin motors and so will be in a better position to fix his car. |
Conner44:The only oil that we were misled to believe came from Dubai was Cepsa only to find out that it was made in Spain. I have not seen any other oil of repute from Dubai. But for Petrocam, I managed to glimpse the flag of France on the gallon but I may be mistaken. They are present in Kenya, Congo, Nigeria, SA which is the supplier. What is the common ground between the Nigerian auto industry and the African auto industry? First of all, Castrol sells engine oil for the South African market and produces another brand for the US market. Even the ones made in England for their market are not sold in the US. If you recall in the past that there was a 505 Peugeot made in the USA and the one made in France. The USA spec was higher in equipment than the French spec. Engine was taken from Volvo, Ac, leather seats were standard while the French spec was nothing to be compared to it. It is still the same scenario with the Engine oils |
barcaboi:Come to Airforce mechanic yard in ile zik, ikeja and you will meet the Volvo guy there. As for your reduced engine performance, the car is reacting to the unleaded regular fuel that you are using for a car that requires premium fuel only. |
Conner44:Waka pass. I once noted in a WhatsApp forum that any oil made in South Africa cannot be used on a US spec vehicle. If the oil is good for the US cars, it should be sold in the USA. Petrocam is supplied from SA but no details about where it is produced. Of all the African countries, Nigeria is still the only country that focuses on cars from the USA and since Oando, Total and AP are unable to satisfy the stringent requirements of the Manufacturers of cars for American market, why will we bother with an oil who sees our local oils as competitors and join them in destroying our cars? |
Conner44:For which vehicle? |
Every police officer is a debt collector. Kyari waa right in his first defense that Abbas told him that someone was threatening to kill his family and he should help him. That is the easiest lie that any complainant tells to the police and the CP will order the men to go and investigate and they get there, arrest the suspect and realize that it is a different story. The blame should be on the CP that approved the men to go and arrest the suspect without letting the complainant to understand that lying on oath is a serious offence. The new police act did not talk about it |
weyreypey:I believe that I should invite an official from mobil to come and talk about the oil destined for the Nigerian market and then we will take it from there |
iykecollins1:Tell me |
