I will suggest you use Mobil ATF which is Dexron 11e or you can use our GARD dexron 111. Mobil is the only transmission fluid that is suitable for entry level dexron 11/111. All the others are not suitable for electronically controlled transmission. I will suggest Oando Engine oil for your car. The coolant in the market for toyota cars, reddish in colour with Toyota written boldly on the can. The brake oil, use Oando too or Total Dot 4. 16 inch tyres are ok if it came with the car. I know that the 16 inch is an aftermarket option but ensure that the tyres has temperature A written on them.But before changing the oil, check if there is sludge in your engine and flush it before putting new oil.

The PPMC and Standard Organisation of Nigeria has stated that Nigeria uses unleaded Regular Fuel and we dont have Premium fuel in the country. According to PPMC, any car that uses unleaded Regular is a Nigerian Spec. Remember when we used to buy fuel, you need a funnel to fill your tank. Now it is forgotten. Using regular unleaded on a car that requires Premium Unleaded is trouble. Porsche now boasts that their cars run on unleaded Regular better than the ones imported from the US which uses Premium fuel only. Read your manuals, if your cars require Premium, use Premium.
For your Mercedes, it uses Premium Fuel only or min.91. By now, you must have noticed that the drive is sluggish, you dont feel power when accelerating, your fuel economy is poor and there is carbon and sludge deposit building in your engine oil chamber and exhaust. You can use any of the lubricants in the market but I recommend TOTAL Q7000. There are different gear oils but use TOTAL EP 90 and you will get good results.

Our Dexron 111 is not sold in the open market. It is called GARD dexron 111/Mercon. It works on cars that requires Dexron 11,11e and 111 and Mercon. Ford uses Mercon, Nissan Quest also uses Mercon, there are many cars that uses mercon but also pay attention not to use Dexron iii on cars that requires Mercon V or LP. The fluid for that is Dexron vi and that is our multi purpose Pure Guard. I have gone round and have never seen Dexron 111D. Nigerians import anything to make profit. That is why Abro is being imported by Coscharis but they dont use it in their workshops. Many importers do not even know the type of ATF they import, they just bring it into the country. There is this issue that confounds me. Years ago, I went to Lanre Badmus and met their works director (Mr David)and asked him to tell us the type of transmission fluid they are selling as HOLTS. The man told me that I should consider it as Dexron 11. Currently, Holts has upgraded itself to Dexron 111 and it is sold for N540 per litre. TOTAL fluide 11D is dexron ii and not suitable for electronically controlled transmissions and a liter of that ATF is sold for N1160 and that ATF is packaged by LANRE BADMUS. I kept on asking myself, why should HOLTS Dexron 111 made and packaged by Lanre Badmus be cheaper that TOTAL fluide 11d packaged by the same Lanre Badmus? Before Texaco sold its business to MRS, their ATF was the best in the country, that is the only Dexron iii sold in the open market. A litre was sold for N2500. Now, the best ATF currently produced by our oil marketers is Mobil ATF. That is Dexron 11E, entry level for all electronically controlled transmission. I am sorry for the news. Your CRV uses Dexron 111 and any other oil will not work. All Nigerian oil marketers are producing ATF for the 90s and none is good for Honda. Your Mechanic gave you that advice based on the available fluids in the market. I suggest you stop driving the car in order not to destroy the fibers in the gear. Let an auto electrician service the electronics on top of the gearbox and we can get you the ATF Dexron 111, If properly flushed, you will use between 5 to 6 litres.

Honda Odyssey requires ATF Z1 or Dexron 111. But if you have been using other substandard fluids, I will advise that you use Dexron vi to rectify the error. Your Honda does not require premium unleaded fuel but if you have a car that uses premium, we advise that you use Octane Boosters. It works very well and makes the fuel burn evenly and all the carbon deposits and sludge will be reduced. We sell high quality Octane Boosters and Engine flush but the Octane Booster is not needed on your Honda.

Passat 2004, beautiful car but very selective on fuel and when used with regular unleaded, the first casualty is the gear box. The car works well with premium unleaded and it is not available in the country. We have the ATF for Passat and you can use any synthetic oil for the engine oil. Our Pure Guard is also synthetic transmission fluid that can protect your transmission for as long as you are using the car. All you need to do is to flush the fluid and put in fresh fluid. Check your engine oil chambers and see if you have sludge. If there is sludge, we can sell the engine flush to you and we will advise you accordingly on how to use it. For the C Class, you can use pure guard too and the fuel requirement is premium unleaded fuel only. But I dont know the model of your c class whether it is 202,203 or 204? If it is the 202 model, that is before 2000, you can use Dexron 111 but if it is 203 or 204, Dexron VI is recommended and that is the Pure Guard which is a multi vehicle ATF.

As for the Honda CRV, Dexron 3 will work fine but temporarily. For the Honda Accord, when was the last time you flushed the ATF? The ATF acts as a coolant to the transmission gear and if it cannot hold the temperature of the gear below 100 degrees, then it starts to slip. Change the transmission once it turns black or has a burnt smell.

yes, you have ruined the transmission. Get a new one and buy ATFZ1 fluid. That is what all Honda Cars uses until they changed it to DW 1. Dont ever give your car to a mechanic that does not have a scanner to read the fault codes in the car. And you are supposed to service the gear every year or 15000 miles whichever comes first

Corolla 2003 uses Typ Tiv only

TYPE TIV is the oil for Big daddy. One of the differences between a 2002 and 2004 Toyota Camry is the Transmission fluid. The older version uses Dexron 111 while the newer one uses Typ TIV which is available in the open market or at some specialised shops. After that year model, Toyota later introduced WS( World Standard) which is supposed to be a life time oil but impracticable in Nigeria. Rodeo uses Dexron 111.
