Abro Atf is a transmission fluid code named Type A. This was the first transmission fluid for older generations of automatic transmissions till 1975. Any one using Abro ATF on their vehicle is taking a risk and in the end they will spend more money to rectify the damage caused by Abro. I think we should all sue the Consumer Protection Council for allowing these products into the market. We dont even have to talk about SON. Nothing changed in the new Range Rover Sport. All the options are the same with the 2011 model. It is only the extra seats at the rear that was added and the new cockpit. Which roads were you talking about? Range Rover Sport does not have good off road capabilities. As an automobile repair practitioner, I will suggest you dont go for brands, just lookout for the tyres suitable for Nigerian roads. For your Suv which brand and model is not stated, Buy any tyre with a V speed rating. Even Starfire, Innoson or Appollo, as long as they are V, then they are suitable for Nigeria. Michelin and Pirelli comes with all season tyres and reduced speed capability. The issue on burst tyres on our roads is mostly caused by fitting tyres that are not suitable for Nigerian roads. The Kogi State Governor's road accident was caused by a burst tyre and when a car gets to a certain speed and the tyre does not support that speed, it either melts or burst while on motion. Most Brands of Mercedes and BMW are fitted with Y, Z or ZR and you will find out that these tyres are not even sold here in Nigeria. My Jeep has W speed rating and they are tokunbo tyres and date of manufacture is 2011. I rather buy used tyres than buy new substandard tyres.

Toyota Camry 98 model uses Dexron 11, but I will advise you to buy Mobil ATF Dexron 11. That is the only Dexron 11 that is suitable for entry level electronically controlled transmissions in the country. Beware of all those supposed dex 111 in red cans. The owners do not even know what they are producing so they just put any specification that suits them.

Oando sells Dexron 11d but I can authoritatively declare that OANDO is launching Dexron 111 before the end of the month. The synthetic engine oil blend of Oando is going to take over the lubricant market in Nigeria. I advise motorists to be on the look out for OANDO lubricants. MRS sells Dexron 111 too. But Honda cars requires ATFZ1 and the equivalent is Dexron 6. Dexron 111 is recommended for temporary use only and when Honda owners use Dexron 111 temporary, it might take a year or more. So stick to the oil required for the Honda. ATFZ1 or Dexron 6.

Thanks everyone. For your Avalon, you cannot use Mobil ATF. That is Dexron 11e. You will need Toyota Typ T1v atf or the dexron 6 atf. Transmission fluid flush is supposed to be done at every 15000 miles or 12 months whichever comes first. Doing so will make your car transmission to last longer without hassles.
For the Honda Civic, you should be careful as some of the brand use CVT, same oil like Murano and some uses ATFZ1 or Dexron 111. On the dipstick, if there is no CVT written on it, then use Dexron 111. For the accord, If you cant get ATFZ1, use Dexron 6, which exceeds the specification of the ATFZ1. Mind you that from 2010 Models of Honda, they now use DW1. As for the engine oil, any of our local brands are ok as long as you maintain the quarterly service interval and that there is no sludge in the engine.
