Anyway, circumcision is more of a religious/cultural thing and virtually every African parent does it for their male child. If he observes good personal hygiene, he has no problem. The major problem with uncircumcised phalluses is that dirt tends to accumulate over time under the foreskin if it is not cleaned properly and this could lead to infection.
As long as you're comfortable with it..no problem. And if he is willing to get circumcised because of you...lol, that's good.
But personally, I can't do 'it' with an uncircumcised male. No special reason attached. Not just comfortable with it.

An issue came up which I am very curious about. I met a guy whom I like but unfortunately he is not circumcised. He want to do it for me which is kinda of nice of him but I am surprised some parents don't circumcise their male children. He said his parent did not see it as a big deal so they left it.
I heard it is better to circumcise a male child because of some health benefits which I am not sure of. So can you guys tell me more. Plus will there be any side effects for an adult male circumcision. Thanks

How do you manage with a boss who is two faced? You are aware that they are stabbing you in the back but what can do you about it. In the case of my boss, she makes this silly jokes which are not funny but at times I force myself to laugh just to be on her good side. Do I have to continue this way or just keep a straight face whenever she makes her silly jokes.

Has anyone seen this TV show called EMPIRE?

Presently I am addicted to trail mix and pistachio. I have tried stopping it but I find myself eating it all the time. It is so annoying I tell myself I will not eat it again but I get this feeling like eat it eat it. I eat and get angry for eating.

Everyone made a valuable point. Personally I think the mum is to blame.To me I think she puts her frustration on her daughter. The way I see it, she expects a lot from her daughter but she does little to help. This is a woman who say she does think she has the head for books but you expect your daughter to read and know every assignment she brings home without trying to assist in anyway she can. It hurts me because this is a smart and brilliant girl who has a very low self esteem. Girls like this can be easily manipulated by men who will abuse them and they see it as a good thing. Is there a way I can make the mother see how she is degrading her child personality? Because there is no way I can help without the mother's input.

At any given opportunity, commend and praise her for what she is doing right. Even when she has made a mistake, gently and lovingly point this out and never compare her with her peers. Try to make her feel good about herself. Tell her regularly that she is pretty and smart.Some parent think that by condemning or criticizing a child frequently, they are motivated to do better. Well, for some children this may work but for many, it may break their spirit and make them feel inferior with the mindset that they can never match up with others.
And why do you think the mother is contributing to this?
This may not be the best way to go. It is not only about what she wears i.e cloth and shoes, self esteem comes from within. That is why some adult can only feel good with materials things. They keep buying shoes, bags, cars etc to feel good with themselves but inwardly they are empty.

The mum contributes to it by the way she refers to her especially when she does something bad. She reports her to anyone and everyone. She goes that is so and so kid, she is already knows how to cook. What can you do? When you tell the mum she is like she is encourage her.

It is possible if you work in different departments or branch office.

My friend's child has a low self esteem. She feels inferior when she is with other kids her own age. At first I thought maybe she was an introvert but I later realized it has more to do with a low self esteem. I think the mother maybe contributing to it but how does one help a child with low self esteem. What do you do that does not make her feel more inferior.

Shows the girl does not see you as the girl friend. She should make an effort to want to sit at the back, it is left to you to say yes or no.

It is not a travel arrangement. They were dating in the university and after graduation the lady study visa arrived they decided to get married before she came to do her masters. I understand where the lady is coming from. Coming to foreign country to study, you paid international fee which is really high, not to talk of the feeding and accommodation. After school, you cannot get a profitable job, employers telling you you need Canadian experience. You do menial job just to get your permanent resident and then to get a job seems difficult. Her husband without Canadian experience gets a job within 2 months of moving to Canada. I mean it hurts. Who knows the kind of debt she has to pay.
Oh well, I am happy for them both because they seem like a nice couple.

I know a lady whose husband was promoted as a project manager in an oil and gas company in Canada. The guy called us to come and celebrate with him because within two months of landing in Canada he got a job in the company that promoted him within 6 months of working with them. The wife on the other hand has been in Canada for 5 years. She initially came to study for her masters. When she finished her studies, she tried to get her permanent residency through Canadian Experience but she was told she did not have enough experience. She was advised to do menial jobs in order to get her papers, which she did. She got her papers through that avenue. She tried getting a job in her field but she has not gotten any yet only data entry or customer service jobs. She brought the husband to Canada and within 2 months of coming to Canada the guy got a job.
On the day of the celebration, she was complaining bitterly. She compared herself to her husband saying the guy does not even have masters. This surprised me. Can a wife be envious of her husband?
