I used to love him but not anymore. You know the saying, a thin line between love and hate.

This is a guy I dont love or even like anymore. I mean I used to love him but with the way things are right now and what he did to me I dont think I should be having feelings for him. That is what I cannot understand. I mean I rarely think of him but there are times these feelings just come up and I try my best to put it out of my mind but it comes stronger and stronger.

I need an input into this issue. At times I get this kinda of love feeling for my ex that is so strong and I am like praying against and telling myself it is over but the funny thing is that he calls during those period I get that feeling and he is always like he was just thinking about me and he decided to call. At times he does not call but the feeling there is so strong. This is not the first time this is happening and this is a guy I broke up with and we are over and done. We are friends and he calls once in a while. I want to know if this happens to other people and what it means.

Whao, I just find it funny that he leaves all these years and he finds his way back easily back to their lives. I mean where was he all these years when there was no food on the table, no money for the kids' schools. The mother had to take care of everything for her 6 kids. These hard ship forced the kids to look for jobs at an early age. The kids never saw or spoke to their dad. It was so bad that when the lady was going to meet his family for assistance, the guy told his family that he has disowned the wife and kids and that no family should assist them. And now he comes back saying it was the work of a strange woman.

Nigerian men never seize to amaze me. A man leaves his wife and kids for 12 years. He comes back to tell you it was the work a strange woman. That he did not know what he was doing. I support modern marriage because I live in a modern society. I live in society whereby I have to work 24/7 to be support my family. I appreciate the olden marriage and I incorporated it in my modern marriage. In those days, women were appreciated.  A man can afford his wife to be a stay home mum but now where is the money. The economy is going down. What we see on TV is part of the problem. Ladies like beyonce are crying out  independent ladies. Guys like 50 cents are crying out have a baby by me and be a millionaire or some rap artist see ladies as "bitches". I mean I listen to my dad music collections and I see the beautiful of love and marriage.
Every aspect of this modern life has changed people one way or another. The only way is to be modern but keep the olden marriage values.

I will always love and respect the African culture but I do not see a crime in a young adult working for her upkeep. Although I am against the situation whereby you go to a restaurant with your child and she ends up paying. That is so wrong.

Hello Nairalanders, I am very sure there are some of us who do not enjoy their jobs. What are the ways in which one can stick with a job one hates. I have different methods like looking forward to the next pay day but right now the pay is not encouraging anymore.
