You are just talking shit, because you are afraid of Islam.

Face them and attack them with everything you used to attack Christianity.

Turn your eyes and start converting Muslims to your atheism, so that you can feel safe.

Leave us out of it, after all, Christianity is not a political/Islamic resistant movement, after all you people say we are weak, so we have no value to your anti Islamic campaign.
Someone with a myopic mentality like you shouldn't be on this thread and even quoting me.

Nigeria as a country needs to remain secular and liberal and many Nigerian citizens share this same opinion like myself.

If you think otherwise, craw back into your shit hole and dont bother responding here.

Christianity is not failing, it is you people who are destroying your own selves more and more exactly as Christianity forewarned and is always warning.

But as usual with all God's things, only a few will listen.

And secondly, you were never a Christian, you were just a church goer.
Religiously-brainwashed fellows like you will never see things objectively but will rather attack the messenger than use your brain to see facts.

Most of you practicing this Abrahamic Religions are deluded especially Christians.

I sighted examples of the areas Christianity as a group is supposed to be checkmating islam, your brainwashed brain think i am attacking Christianity.

U assumed the christian faith is failing... i only let u know faith remains the same...only humans fail which was inevitable as the world becomes more flesh-driven..
This aint an assumption. Maybe you need to go back and read and this time more carefully. Take note of the examples of instances as well.

A country like Nigeria with a large Christian and Non-Muslims followers shouldn't be dominated by islam the way we are currently seeing it.
Islam doesn't respect secularism which Nigeria needs to survive.

Too Dangerous to correct??
Many are called ..few are chosen...there is a reason that scripture exist.....there is nothing to correct ...he who has hear let him hear, repent, and walk in obidience to christ..
Yes many Christians who believe this text you quoted are no more because they refuse to take action while the opportunity was still there.

You think your God will come down from heaven and play physical politics on your behalf?

You think your God will save you when laws are made that will stop you from practicing your religion are made by people of other faiths?

This is 21st century delusion
Christianity EtcWhy Is Christianity Failing Nigeria? by sotall(op): 3:57pm On Mar 31, 2023
Just as the title says, i am obliged to ask this question.

Though i was born into a Christian home and all members of my family and extended families are Christians. But i have ceased being a Christian for some time now and haven't attended any church in years.

This is because i have decided after careful and time-taken investigation of religion that it is a tool invented to manipulate man and keep him from using his brain. The stories in the bible that fails every form of integrity test as well as the many actions of bible characters that clearly shows immorality, unrighteousness as well as falsehood which was not reprimanded by the bible God put paid to my leaving Christianity and by extension any form of religion that has the Adam and Eve creation bruhaha.

Away from this, why did i say Christianity is failing Nigeria?
Aside from the spiritual aspects of Christianity which many adherents claim to be benefitting from, the religion is very important as a group to help balance the secularism of Nigeria.
In this area, Christianity has been failing woefully over the years.

The other major religion in Nigeria aside Christianity is islam. Over the years , islam has been expanding and crossing the boundary of secularism in Nigeria because Christians have become docile and politically asleep.

Majority of Nigerian Christians practice the i dont care attitude or say they are liberal Christians who wouldn't force their religion on you. But what about islam? Non-Muslims especially Christians in the North have become endangered species. Whole Christians community have been wiped out and replaced with muslim leaders and traditional rulers.
Sharia courts have been operating in Northern states in a supposed secular Nigeria.

One fact about islam is that, whenever its adherents are minority in a place, they are cool-headed, obey secular laws and are liberal.
But when a place is dominated by islam, it is hell on earth for the minority that are not Muslims. They are either forced to convert or are killed.

Now we are seeing a dangerous trend in Nigeria where only muslims are fit to occupy top political positions. Christians and Non-Muslims are being relegated from leadership positions.

This is where Christianity is failing. With the numbers of Christians in Nigeria, it should be able to checkmate this islamazation that is gradually eroding Nigeria's secularism.

I pray it doesn't take too long for Christians to realize this.It may be too dangerous to correct.

PoliticsRe: The Tribal Slur Between Igbos And Yoruba,as A Northerner This What I Have To Say by sotall(m): 2:50pm On Mar 31, 2023
Legitisreal:
I am from Edo, but the problem with you people is deceit and hypocrisy.

In one breath you say point which Igbo man started no man land talk in another breath you say it's actually no man's land since everyone resource was into it before

This is the idea behind the igbos believe that Lagos is no man land people have been saying it, it's not about pointing who started it when you all hold the believe.

My question is why the obsession with Lagos, like why this stupid competition?

Can't you people just swallow it that the state belongs in SW and it's a Yoruba land, would you die if you agree to it

Who cares what Nigeria pumped into it as former FCT, it's their luck, different tribes are building houses in Abuja today but the day north rises and drives everyone to it's region, we already know nobody would say pemp there.

The political reality in Lagos says the land is yorubas is that not why igbos can't get speaker let alone deputy gov in Lagos.

Don't forget those voting apc in Lagos are 90+ yorubas, the votes PDP or LP would get is more or less opposition by igbos who feel politician from this party would serve their interest than Yoruba

Yet you still have 50% of yorubas in these party to tell you yorubas have majority in their land

The day igbos stop the attitude of trying to ursurp the political Yoruba politics in Lagos it's the day things would normalize

Yorubas allow you do business and acquire property but their own problem is you want to meddle in their local politics which is yorubaoid.

You don't find igbos having problems like this in any other state from north to SS, and SW simply because they stay out of the host local politics

You not staying out by opposing their Dynamics is already a way of saying it's no man land and you too can have a say in their political configuration
While you tried to make some sense in your statement, you completely messed everything up when you wrote "igbos trying to usurp the political yoruba politics in lagos" and " meddle in their local politics which is Yorubaoid".

When it comes to politics whether in Lagos, Abuja or anywhere else, there is nothing like Yoruba, igbo or Hause.

Local politics is about the well-being of the majority of residents in a state.
Any politician who cannot manage the cultural diversity of a state doesn't deserve to be governor. The Nigerian constitution doesn't say you must vote for the candidate that appeals to your host. It says you can vote for your choice.

When it comes to politics, every state in Nigeria is a no man's land. If the number of non-indigenes resident in a state are more than the indigenes and they decide to vote for a candidate that doesn't appeal to the host, then so be it. Thats the beauty of democracy, its all about numbers and not tribe.

The kind of tribal politics dominating Nigeria is seriously appalling.

If residents of a state cannot vote for candidates of their choice without being labeled as usurpers, then Nigeria shouldn't exist in the first place.

This country is seriously a costly mistake that shouldn't have been made.

As an Edo man, i weep for my tribe everytime i think about Nigeria's politics.

Can an Edo man become Nigeria's president? It is nearly very impossible with the kind of tribal politics Nigeria is playing today.

Goodluck Jonathan becoming president was a very big coincidence. Nobody from the south south can ever be that lucky again. And if you observe clearly his last term in office, the owners of Nigeria were already very mad at him and were ready to burn the country down if he won the 2015 elections.

Going forward, tribes in the south south and middle belt need to push more for a restructuring of the country in order to benefit from politics.

Yes...just like it is Haram to sell alcohol in muslims dominanted Northern states but it is not haram to collect VAT from the proceeds of alcohol transactions from Southern states.

Also it is good to implement sharia law in the North while advocating for secularism in the south.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Drug Case On Peter Obi Petition by sotall(m): 6:54pm On Mar 21, 2023
akingangan:
Tinubu is such a genius.
He could have given countless responses when the hateful campaign of Peter Obi kept using the drug case to campaign and discredit Tinubu.
He literally gave them the silent treatment such as is advised when a court case is going on to avoid self-implicating.

Defense
1. He was not convicted
2. He was not found to deal drugs, he was an accountant that was likely paid with drug money from a client
3. You cannot stand trial for the same offense in two courts in different countries.
4. Out of Jurisdiction - If a crime was committed it was not in Nigeria and no court had prosecuted him for that in Nigeria

Now
Tinubu himself said he was a security doorman in Chicago while he was a student at Chicago State University.
It is very likely that he had acquaintances that would have used his service. This was Chicago in the 70s and 80s!

Redemption
After that, he worked as Accountant at Deloitte the number one accounting firm in the world,
He has been a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,
He has been Governor of Lagos state
He has been Freedom Fighter who fought the military to bring democracy to Nigeria

Tinubu's house was blown up by the military and that is the reason he does not have old pictures.
He was penniless at some point and granted asylum to the UK with a Visa on a piece of paper(Not a Passport)

For Peter Obi to have added the drug case to the presidential petition is just spiteful.

Peter Obi has cases to answer about
1. The people that were killed in his state whose bodies were dumped in Ezu River while he was governor which led to Endsars (Ironically Endsars supporters were brainwashed to become his supporter as obidient movement)

2. The money he took from Anambra and invested in his private business making beer
3. The Pandora paper which shows his tax evasion as a sitting governor hiding money in Panama
Keep beating around the bush.

You are not aware that anyone indicted for a crime cannot be president of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Tinubu is a criminal and cannot be president.
