Dtruthspeaker:Someone with a myopic mentality like you shouldn't be on this thread and even quoting me. Nigeria as a country needs to remain secular and liberal and many Nigerian citizens share this same opinion like myself. If you think otherwise, craw back into your shit hole and dont bother responding here. |
Dtruthspeaker:Religiously-brainwashed fellows like you will never see things objectively but will rather attack the messenger than use your brain to see facts. Most of you practicing this Abrahamic Religions are deluded especially Christians. I sighted examples of the areas Christianity as a group is supposed to be checkmating islam, your brainwashed brain think i am attacking Christianity. |
Jerryhare:Kiss the truth |
![]() This Nini better be wise and leave this boy alone. Her children will be tagged omo ale and can never become governor in their father's state of origin in future.... Nini be wise and back off. |
advanceDNA:This aint an assumption. Maybe you need to go back and read and this time more carefully. Take note of the examples of instances as well. A country like Nigeria with a large Christian and Non-Muslims followers shouldn't be dominated by islam the way we are currently seeing it. Islam doesn't respect secularism which Nigeria needs to survive. |
advanceDNA:Yes many Christians who believe this text you quoted are no more because they refuse to take action while the opportunity was still there. You think your God will come down from heaven and play physical politics on your behalf? You think your God will save you when laws are made that will stop you from practicing your religion are made by people of other faiths? This is 21st century delusion |
Just as the title says, i am obliged to ask this question. Though i was born into a Christian home and all members of my family and extended families are Christians. But i have ceased being a Christian for some time now and haven't attended any church in years. This is because i have decided after careful and time-taken investigation of religion that it is a tool invented to manipulate man and keep him from using his brain. The stories in the bible that fails every form of integrity test as well as the many actions of bible characters that clearly shows immorality, unrighteousness as well as falsehood which was not reprimanded by the bible God put paid to my leaving Christianity and by extension any form of religion that has the Adam and Eve creation bruhaha. Away from this, why did i say Christianity is failing Nigeria? Aside from the spiritual aspects of Christianity which many adherents claim to be benefitting from, the religion is very important as a group to help balance the secularism of Nigeria. In this area, Christianity has been failing woefully over the years. The other major religion in Nigeria aside Christianity is islam. Over the years , islam has been expanding and crossing the boundary of secularism in Nigeria because Christians have become docile and politically asleep. Majority of Nigerian Christians practice the i dont care attitude or say they are liberal Christians who wouldn't force their religion on you. But what about islam? Non-Muslims especially Christians in the North have become endangered species. Whole Christians community have been wiped out and replaced with muslim leaders and traditional rulers. Sharia courts have been operating in Northern states in a supposed secular Nigeria. One fact about islam is that, whenever its adherents are minority in a place, they are cool-headed, obey secular laws and are liberal. But when a place is dominated by islam, it is hell on earth for the minority that are not Muslims. They are either forced to convert or are killed. Now we are seeing a dangerous trend in Nigeria where only muslims are fit to occupy top political positions. Christians and Non-Muslims are being relegated from leadership positions. This is where Christianity is failing. With the numbers of Christians in Nigeria, it should be able to checkmate this islamazation that is gradually eroding Nigeria's secularism. I pray it doesn't take too long for Christians to realize this.It may be too dangerous to correct. |
olatade:And you will still queue to buy fuel like someone from southeast does. Nepa still interrupts your electricity without informing you just like in igbo land. You probably have used your naira to buy cash(naira) within the last 2 months or someone in your family did. But yet you are hallucinating about igbos. |
Legitisreal:While you tried to make some sense in your statement, you completely messed everything up when you wrote "igbos trying to usurp the political yoruba politics in lagos" and " meddle in their local politics which is Yorubaoid". When it comes to politics whether in Lagos, Abuja or anywhere else, there is nothing like Yoruba, igbo or Hause. Local politics is about the well-being of the majority of residents in a state. Any politician who cannot manage the cultural diversity of a state doesn't deserve to be governor. The Nigerian constitution doesn't say you must vote for the candidate that appeals to your host. It says you can vote for your choice. When it comes to politics, every state in Nigeria is a no man's land. If the number of non-indigenes resident in a state are more than the indigenes and they decide to vote for a candidate that doesn't appeal to the host, then so be it. Thats the beauty of democracy, its all about numbers and not tribe. The kind of tribal politics dominating Nigeria is seriously appalling. If residents of a state cannot vote for candidates of their choice without being labeled as usurpers, then Nigeria shouldn't exist in the first place. This country is seriously a costly mistake that shouldn't have been made. As an Edo man, i weep for my tribe everytime i think about Nigeria's politics. Can an Edo man become Nigeria's president? It is nearly very impossible with the kind of tribal politics Nigeria is playing today. Goodluck Jonathan becoming president was a very big coincidence. Nobody from the south south can ever be that lucky again. And if you observe clearly his last term in office, the owners of Nigeria were already very mad at him and were ready to burn the country down if he won the 2015 elections. Going forward, tribes in the south south and middle belt need to push more for a restructuring of the country in order to benefit from politics. |
Encyclopedia1:Yes...just like it is Haram to sell alcohol in muslims dominanted Northern states but it is not haram to collect VAT from the proceeds of alcohol transactions from Southern states. Also it is good to implement sharia law in the North while advocating for secularism in the south. Let me ask...who needs to think straight? |

Messi not coming back is good for Messi and also good for Barcelona. He has done his bit for Barcelona...let him move forward |
As unpopular as this opinion is, it is the only way for Nigeria to exist peacefully and progress in unity. It doesn't matter if many of you dont agree, very soon you will have no choice than to agree. Only the political elites, their families, those working for them and those taking crumbs from them currently benefits from this dysfunctional Nigeria. The majority of Nigeria are helpless and hopeless about Nigeria |

![]() This same Nigeria that is existing by force? ![]() Nigeria politicians are bunch of deluded fellows |
Expell all the christians in APC and make it official that it is an islamic jihadist party. Amaechi realized this after 8 years and is currently in confusion about what lies ahead of his dead political career. Other christians in the party will learn this later. |
idealogical:He had two options...go to court and clear his name and own the money or forfeit the money... He chose to forfeit the money because he knew it was drug money. |
Parachoko:The money he forfeited nko? You seem to be dodging that part. How can you forfeit money for not doing wrong? |
Skyview01:Exactly...only criminals and morally-corrupt individuals become Nigeria president |
Ofcourse Tinubu is a criminal and in a country where the judiciary is not for the highest bidder, he wouldn't even win a councilorship position how much more presidency. |
akingangan:Keep beating around the bush. You are not aware that anyone indicted for a crime cannot be president of the federal republic of Nigeria. Tinubu is a criminal and cannot be president. |
shegra58:Ode! You are the daft urchin that voted Tinubu the drug baron. And you will still go to the bus stop to do thuggery after election |
![]() This sick idiot with dementia thinks all will be well with the fraudulent charade they called election. You cant build peace on a foundation of injustice, inequality, unfairness, nepotism and bigotry. Tinubu the drug lord has sowed the wind, he is going to reap the whirlwind. |

Nobody is interested in anything about this prisonyard called Nigeria... A country existing on nepotism, inequality, injustice, bigotry, and forced coexistence. |
