Go to networks-> view all connection/network->Ryt clik your Starcoms icon -> properties-> at advanced tab-> windows firewall-> setings -> exceptions tab-> enable limewire, (IF THIS AINT THERE YET, GO TO ADD PROGRAM -> BROWSE C\: PROGRAM FILES\ to SEARCH4LIMEWIRE.EXE-> CLIK OK N CLOSE THE BOX. This adds limewire.exe to exceptions so conections from this is not barred.

Please let me know if this doesnt work. Cos it mins ull have to add gnutella explicitly. gnutella is the technology, limeuses to conect to other networks. Also u can download the help manual from the limewire site.

I had the same issue last yr its a worm called Rontok, Brontok , To be sure, go to open a terminal and try to run a program or comand. If at this point ur system hangs or restarts or evn shutsdpwn bt itself then u have a visitor from worm land.

Nature: duplicates folders on ur hard disk, and makes them executables, among other tins. The worm attacks ur Win32files and folders. This are system folders, and this implies it has developd to its advanced stage.

Avast! was the anti virus i used to rid myself of the mess of this uncelebrateble Alien! Node32 is also gud. As at March or so, it was number 1 after wich was Avast ,

However, if ur system has bin eaten up so bad, u myt follow any of the advice given by the house. U can also reinstall the operatin sys - if XP - choosing the " Kip existin files" option as u proceed.

Im also a newbie, thoh not new to the basics of prgmin, but i wan2 start java, but i nid help from folks. I have a lil chalenge - how do i pik the users input from application window, without initializin the variable.

The idea is to determine if a figure entered is even or odd, not using an applet. A user is suposed to simply enter the figure and then the result should be "ODD numer" or "EVEN number" depending on wot number is enterd.
