Even the BOT chairman and SE governors chairman have endorsed and congratulated Elumelu so which PDP are you talking about?
Lol.

He has been suspended. The BOT should bring him back nah. After 1 month, outright expulsion and he should decamp to APC

Yorubas dont care about your sentiments in religion. Do you forget a Yorubaman brought christianity to your land? So how are you going to dictate religious creeds to those that civilized you with the Bible?
grin
This one is drunk with cow pee. Bloody revisionists.

Yorubas Christians don't care so much about religion but not their moslem brothers. A yoruba moslem is more loyal to islam than to his yoruba heritage.

Some Yoruba moslems don't rent apartment to their Christian brothers. Yoruba moslem families don't give out their daughter to a christian man like their Christians give out their daughters.

Last year, premium times carried how yoruba moslems were killing their christian brothers, raping their women and burning churches in Ilorin during Cross Over service

That's the problem that PDP has. Did you see the plenary yesterday? cheesy

Majority of PDP members are with Elumelu. Even the PDP governors and BOT are with Elumelu. Chinda and Wike have lost this one
If Gbaja refuses to respect himself, PDP would set him up for failure. He should learn from Lawan who understood how difficult it is to run a divided house. He learnt well from Saraki.

Oga it's called house caucus leaders for a reason.... The party do not impose its only d members that choose their leaders, that's the house rule, party chairmen writing letters to the speakers or senate presidents is just semantics and its totally wrong and alien to parliamentary systems all over the world its an abnormally, although in most cases members toes party lines to elect their leaders, if the majority members of a party should chose a particular leader..the party leadership should respect it and honor it.
I don't have your time.

Every majority or minority leader is the party leader in that house of parliament. Go and study UK party politics.

In the US, they are known as the party leaders in the Congress not house caucus leader. They are even more active than the Speaker. They drive their party's legislative agenda.

In Nigeria, each region elects caucus leaders. Abaribe was SE Senate Caucus leader.

You are disillusioned.
Every society has a diversity, whether in religion, in culture, in community, in ideology and so on. Ibo is an exception.
You are not tolerant of other religious practices, you are not tolerant of your own people with roots in other states, you are discriminatory to your women and girls, your viewpoints are locked in, narrow and deviant from mainstream. Yet you deceive yourself that you are a strong link in South. You can deceive your attached SS...SW is too sophisticated to fit in your narrow definition of strength.

Bloody Onitsha bridge head tout. grin grin
Your rant doesn't hide the fact that yoruba moslems are the weak links in the south.

Just gather 100 southerners including your christian brothers and ask them that question.

APC wanted Lawan in 2015 as leader after he lost to Saraki but Saraki appointed Ndume instead. It's only when he fell out with Ndume that he now appointed Lawan.

Dogara refused to appoint Gbaja as leader for days until the APC reps made the house ungorvernable for him did he succumb.

This time around, majority of the house PDP want nothing to do with Wike's boy and Umahi has shown that the governors too are not with Wike's boy
We will still make the house ungovernable for Gbaja.

Buhari does not have dangerous idea. You have not studied Buhari well to understand who he is. You are responding from a position of cognitive bias.

Buhari is a conservatist. Every nation prays to have someone like Buhari in leadership. I sincerely wish we have a Buhari in Yorubaland.

Buhari's problem is he is daring. Thats his only issue. His daring moves elevates risks and encroaches on other people margin of comfort. But he also knows to back off when people bark back at him.

We will need to continue to bark at him and keep him behind lines every time he crosses it. Thats how to dialogue with Buhari and keep the balance.

Please write this down so you can reference in future.

In fact I wish there are three Buharis in Yorubaland.

Study your leaders and know them thoroughly so you can speak objectively in public about them.
You are a Yoruba moslem, I would have been surprised if you had supported my views.

You guys are the weak link in the South and the reason Buhari is embolden every day.

Abide by party supremacy or decamp to APC or we expel you ourselves.

Speaker and Deputy Speaker are elected by members of the House among themselves according to the constitution while Majority and Minority Leaders are appointed by party leadership.

We will never compromise internal indiscipline which APC condoled during the 8th Assembly and it cost them the election if not for rigging.

Subject yourself to party supremacy or we expel ourself.

I don’t care if you vote for Hitler or Atiku, what I’m envisaging was that you guys are all over the place in 2015 shouting Yorubas betrayed the south for voting a Fulani man. What changed suddenly that made you guys wanna vote the same Fulani Muslim ??

What I’m pointing out is your double mouthed and hypocritical lifestyle.
Stop being an idiot. Nobody is against you voting for a fulani, we were only cautioning you guys against voting buhari.

We have no problem with Buhari's ethnicity but his dangerous agenda.

Someone that placed the Executive President on house arrest and jailed his VP.

Someone that truncated our democracy and abused powers as head of state.

Someone that northernized the country, bombed Adamawa aerially because of cows, bombed Ikorodu armed robbers aerially, bombed Calabar, massacred peaceful protesters in SE, Zaria and Abuja yet failed to lift a finger against a group that has massacred and caused more bloodshed than BH since since 2015 is the person we cautioned you people against.

A healthy Buhari ran with Igbo blood against a sick Yar'Adua that ran with Ijaw blood, Atiku ran with Igbo blood against Jonathan that ran with Fulani blood and on those occassions, we rejected an Igbo ticket for a fulani-Ijaw ticket and Ijaw-fulani ticket.

I will only vote for a man that will protect my business interest, we don't vote to grab power even if it means burning down the country.

There were two Fulani running for President, they both own cows. Buhari own 150 cows, Atiku own over 1000 cows. They are both MACBAN Grand Patrons. Both have their herd of cows grazed by ak47 and machette wielding fulani herder.

Tell me how you would have voted a non-fiulani in last election. Im waiting.... grin
Yar'adua was a fulani and he owed cows but was never a terrorist or ethnic champion like Buhari.

Every northern household owes at least one cow and they graze them.

Always use your head. It not about Buhari being a fulani. It is about him having dangerous agenda.

Is this not the reason why the government introduced NLTP/RUGA.

RUGA/NLTP = Controlled, centralized, monitored and organized animal husbandry business for interested livestock farmers and investors, not just headers.

It means no more herdsmen running around the country, no more destroying farms and no more clashes with farmers.

We slaughter and consume tens of thousands of cattle per day, that's billions per day that the headers and owners are not sharing with the rest of Nigeria especially where they graze, but NLTP/RUGA means they have to share in form of taxes and be regulated.

This program is more than the ill-informed and paranoid noise people are passing around on the internet, it's turning to graze into a regulated livestock business as they have in other countries, we are talking about full-scale grazing to abattoir services, meat and meat product processing, packaging, tannery and so on.

Apart from we have the usual shortsighted, paranoid and tribalistic mentality portion of Nigeria that rejects credible ideas and programs, a large segment of the Nigerian population are ignorant and instead of seeking knowledge to learn and educate themselves about issues, they consume rumors and fake trash other people pass around on the internet or beer parlor.

In the SW alone, they consume almost 20,000 cattle per day, but is the state getting a cut of the daily multi billion naira cattle trade? I don't think so.

It's either they set up their own ranch as a business and for food security measure or offer land and let other entities invest and manage the ranches.

According to your 20,000 cows per consumption in the SW, it means SW beef industry alone is an over 1 trillion industry (over 1.2 trillion)

Now how many herders are in Nigeria? Now distribute 1.2 trillion per household and then tell me if that amount you guys throw around carelessly justifies current realities.

Anyway, give your lands and enjoy the trillion. We don't need it in the SE.
Politics / Re: Ruga will bring job to Nigeria. by SouthEastFacts: 9:55am On Jul 05, 2019
budaatum:

They do not currently graze for free. I am from the Orolu Kingdom of Ifon Osun where cattle herding is huge business so the chiefs collect money from the herders who must behave or we the people will revolt! When you complain to the chief that Fulani cattle ate your crops, the chief will only give you a part of the compensation he gets on your behalf. Even the cattle the fulani herdsman is herding belongs to the chief, in most instances. They are not forcing any religion on anyone nor are they kidnapping anyone. If they do, we will adopt a new Oro Cattle Eating Festival!

Ranching will force herdsmen to stop moving cattle around spreading diseases and eating up poor farmer crops. It will make them taxable because we would know where their assets are and it would revolutionise the cattle business and wrest it from backward Fulani herdsmen who lack modern cattle rearing knowledge. We will also be able to monitor the quality of the meat we eat.

Meat production is way too large an industry to neglect as we currently do considering the benefits, only some of which are laid out in the op. The entire industry needs to be revolutionised.
In summary, yoruba moslems support RUGA?

We have no problem with fulani moslems. We voted for Yar'adua, Shagari.

Buhari ran with Igbos twice but lost our vote, Atiku ran with Igbo in 2007 but also lost our votes.

We vote for competence and Igbo National Interest. Yorubas voted for buhari to grab power either through death or after the end of his tenure.

This is an extract of the report

In a statement on its website, the FCO said “terrorists” are likely going to carry out attacks in the listed states.

Only Abia is on the list because of a recent threat to attack Abia by herdsmen.

Security-wise, Abia has the lowest crime rate in Nigeria.
