We have made a little research on some useful quotes of Nairaland's founder so we deemed it necessary to share some of it with you. Happy reading and I hope you get a thing or two that can help you. Source: austinbridalshop..com Quote 1 I don't have first class -I don't have second class upper - I don't have second class lower - I don't have third class - I don't even have pass - I don't have a degree! But there is hope for me because I am willing to create my own job. Perhaps you all should try it? - Suen 2006 Check thread https://www.nairaland.com/14590/hope-lower-grades-nigeria?fbclid=IwAR2k80Cyw93U-inFDtoPqCM_eCmozjx4xv306CQMiKEmz_lFI5LLCgMQUQ4#410004 Quote 2 I am not interested with employment because I will always earn less than people who have the same amount of knowledge but have a degree. I am fiercely determined to be rich because this is about the only way I can prove my value. As long as you don't look down on me because I don't have a degree, we will be fine. On the other hand, if you are my competitor, I want you to under- rate me! Quote 3 A job is not a product you create. A job is a need. No one is responsible for creating needs, but thankfully, Human needs are unlimited. Hence, the potential for job creation is unlimited too, if not hindered artificially. - Suen 2010 Thread here Quote 4 If the best job you can get is a driving job, go for it. There is no value in sitting at home doing nothing. - Suen 2008 Quote 5 No amount of logical reasoning or common sense will convince a woman who doesn't want to be convinced. When you tell a woman "2 + 2 equals 4", she say "no, because 3 + 3 = 6", it simply means you are right! Feminists will not like this one. ![]() Quote 6 There is no easy business in this world. You need to look for a way to provide a service that is useful to people. Quote 7 There are lots of opportunities in Nigeria, but some people choose not to see them. Quote 8 No matter how intelligent you are, you can't make decisions based on what you don't know. Quote 9 The answer to your question depends on the details of the problem you're working on. ![]() Quote 10 You need to think of what you can do with the resources you currently have at your disposal. Nobody will give you a laptop (except as a free gift) because there's no guaranty that you can make anything useful with it. ![]() So which of the quotes do you love the most? To me quote 1 was so on point! Drop what you think below. Visit blog for more: austinbridalshop..com Also see https://www.nairaland.com/5187881/10-things-probably-didnt-know

There are tons of mysteries surrounding Nairaland's founder but we would be unraveling a couple of them here. 1. Nairaland's founder created nairaland at the ripe age of 23 way back in 2005. 2. He had 2 siblings with one in the computing sector and sister who is a medical practitioner. https://www.nairaland.com/8031/sibling-rivalry 3. He made a pledge to surpass his siblings in wealth in a sibling rivalry thread in 2006. Guess he achieved that now. 4. He dropped out from OAU - Obafemi Awolowo University for some reasons best known to him. What makes me think this guy is related to Bill Gates? 5. He is more of an entrepreneur than a programmer. That doesn't mean he can't code! I didn't say that pls. I meant he is more business/money oriented than just writing top notch programs for clients. 6. He is a capitalist. That means he believes in competition. 7. He had a G.p of 4.7 in the first semester before dropping out. Quite a brainy dude I must say. 8. He learnt BASIC programming language at the age of 9 and already messing around with 3d calculations with his laptop. 9. A lady killer. I mean ladies drool over his good looks just check out this thread and watch them ladies toasting and asking him out for relationships. https://www.nairaland.com/9449/official-think-crush-seun See, its good to be a nerd! 10. He is was born with a silver spoon. That explains why he could get a laptop, subscription, internet access and a host of other techy stuffs. Considering the cost of SIM cards (N24,000), old Motorola phones ( close to 27k then) not to say of a 213mb RAM laptop. Stay tuned https://austinbridalshop..com/2019/05/10-things-you-probably-didnt-know-of.html |
kaycexx:Quality content bro. |
1. Nairaland had a sister website The owner and founder of nairaland had 3 website he was managing at the young days of starting up the Nigerian forum. The name of Nairaland sister website is nairalist.com but it has long being closed down due to some undisclosed reasons and a price tag of $3k slammed on it. 2. Romance section a traffic spinner: It is no new gist that the romance section drives the most traffic in Nairaland. So sexual threads have reached a record 10k views in 1hr. Ironically the website started as forum where mobile network users meetup and interact about issues with their mobile network providers back in 2005. But the sexual topics which was thrown into the off topic section garnered more views and traffic than the main purpose threads. This caused a dynamic change in Nairaland as the founder being business oriented made a standalone section to house Romance threads. 3. Nairaland started as an SMF forum: Nairaland was previously built and managed with SMF meaning Simple Machines Forum www.simplemachines.org/ a Php driven Content management system used for building scalable website forums with high responsiveness on mobile phones. It was chosen due to its lightweight and small file size. But as traffic increased and people registering in their numbers, the whole site had to be redesigned with an easy to maintain language, in this case python. It is highly possible that a python framework was used in building a brand new Nairaland. 4. $200 bid for Nairaland Way back in 2005 at the early stages of growth of Nairaland, a user once offered to purchase Nairaland for a price of just $200 (N73,000). But the 'stubborn' administrator turned down the offer. Guess how much its worth now? Lesson learnt: Don't rush into selling your assets. 5. Took 8 years to get 1 million members: Nairaland is no doubt the largest forum in Africa having her first million members after 8 years on January 18th, 2013 at exactly 2:30am Nigerian time. Although this statistics might be distorted as more than 70% members have at least 2 different monikas due to bans from hyperactive mods. check this thread 6. 1.5k new members per day: Nairaland has an estimated new registrations of 1,500 members/day. That is 45,000/month, 225,000 in 5 months and 540,000 in a year. 7. 41 forum sections: Nairaland has a perceived total of 41 forum sections and 1 hidden section for Moderators ( Ina Caucus only ). We have also calculated an estimated 60 sub-sections. In total making it 100+1 forum sections in Nairaland, biggest in Africa for a reason. 8. 30 moderators: Nairaland has an estimated value of 30 moderators with 5% currently inactive. 1 Super Super moderator - Seun 2 Super moderators - Mynd44 and lalasticlala And the rest are normal moderators. 9. Nairaland was hacked! Yeah that's right. Some unknown circumstances managed to put Nairaland offline for 2 days straight on June 24th 2014. But some people placed the blame on the management as Nairaland was not using a Secured Socket Layer certificate, even the then CMS <SMF> which was powering Nairaland had some vulnerabilities and the website's database wasn't update frequently. This had the Admin roll back to a 5 months old Database which lead to loss of posts, threads, likes and monikas. 10. The first post on Nairaland was made on March 14th, 2005 by Admin and founder. Here So there you have it. How many of these did you know? https://austinbridalshop..com/2019/05/10-things-you-probably-didnt-know-about.html |
Nbote:Nice observation. I guess klopp is a master tactician. |
So how did Liverpool managed to keep the Magician at bay. Was it counterpressing, man marking, shadow marking or just out numbering? Your opinions please. |
missyb08:@embolden: Yeah my grandma is a Virgin too. Nonsense! Go tell that to the birds. |
missyb08:So what you Girls have being doing is right too, huh? Leading guys on just to milk his cash, making guys the HOD of Friendzone instead of telling them straight off the bat. So who got the most scores here, huh? Yeah i can bet you have being doing same to guys. |
I have always told my Gis in to chase the cheque, never chase the Bitch. They would come naturally if you got the Cheque. But No! They rather be training a girl while their Parents are training them in School. Trainee training trainee with the money from the Trainer. |
lalasticlala lalasticlala Your highness's presence is required here. Kindly move to Fp for further relationship-wise scrutiny and opinions on this matter. Signed Nairaland Menist Association ( NMA ) Courtesy: De-facto Financial secetary. |
missyb08:Because Ladies have being doing same to Guys since time imemorial but you Hypocrites will say nothing about it. But instead praise the lady for choosing to opt out of an incompatible relationship. Countless times Guys have being broken by these little weavon wearing Idols but nah! You all will turn blind. A guy trained a lady throughout school only to get dumped with the stupid excuse of ' He is not in my class anymore ' and you Ladies on here be siding the chick and justifying her actions. Now here is a Guy pulling one back for the Men and you all start screaming foul, Heartless! Nonsense! The guy have realised that the relationship won't work, so wants out! QED. We are allowed the exclusive right to either stay or move out of a relationship at our own convinient time. So whats the fuss? Now let's see how you like that! ![]() |
