Unfortunately the people buying the pvc"s don't know that it will be of no use to them. INEC"s card readers are fitted with finger print scanners. Which means the finger print information stored in the card must match the finger print of the person presenting the card at the point of accreditation before voting.

All i can say is you are among the lucky ones. I wish you more strength and God''s grace.

I am in no way suggesting a separation but you really need sometime apart to heal and rediscover yourself.

What surprises me is why the military advertises any equipment procured in the fight against insurgency. I would think such actions are "on a need to know bases". By Doing so, they only provide the enemies with information and thus, prepare appropriate defence.

apolonius: You forgot the most important: they are determined not to see you become any form of success. They consider your coming on board a threat to their place and future there.

This is more true about us Africans than all your reasons.
God bless you. Especially if that "aunt or uncle" got in from a low cadre and grew through the ranks over the years. They feel threatened when you come along with your fancy degree at 20-something years knowing you are young with more potentials.

Anyway my advice to job seekers is to keep applying regardless of whether you know "Aunty Director, Uncle MD" or not! Some of us got employed that way simply on MERIT with no connections whatsoever.

Health › Re: My only sister's kidney failure has gone critical HELP!!! PLSSS by specialguest(f): 11:42pm On Jul 13, 2014
Op what state does your sister reside in? I can imagine what you and your family are passing through, its never easy taking care of a renal failure patient. Here"s a few advice
1. Some hospitals do dialysis for 15k per session i.e national hospital abuja.
2. I learnt some states have subsidised the cost for their indigenes to below 10k you can find out from your state"s general hospital.
3. In as much as some nairalanders may assist you I will suggest you present your appeal through other channels i.e berekete family n so on for a faster response.

Sports › Re: Luis Suarez Given Hero's Welcome In Uruguay (Pictures And Video) by specialguest(f): 8:03am On Jun 29, 2014
Biting another player during game play is a dire offence and should be punished accordingly. To me, the 4. Month ban on suarez is sufficient. How else can u put a stop to an unruly and dangerous behaviour if. Not thru punishment. I enjoy watching suarez and his wonderful goal scoring moves, but men biting another player is no excuse for frustration. Just watch after the ban suarez go behave. That's what punishment does. FIFA was on point. Suarez wasn't.
Romance › Re: Why Are Husbands Cranky When They Don't Get "Some"? by specialguest(f): 10:58pm On Jan 10, 2014
Ty Lannister: Madam, men and women are not the same. After facing the challenges of a day and pretty much fighting your way through everything, a good back rub or cuddling might restore you because you're a woman. A man needs good sex to regain himself. Whether he can tell you so or not, good sex is validation for him. It says that he's valuable to someone and there's a place where he doesn't have to fight. What cuddling, a massage or back rub are to you are what sex is to a man.
Nicely said.

Health › Re: Do We Have Renal Replacement Patients Here Or Are You Closely Related To One? by specialguest(f): 12:59pm On Jan 06, 2014
I have spent the last four years taking care of a renal failure patient and all I can say is that it is not easy. The cost of 3 dialysis sessions per week is enough to send an average Nigerian to early grave if you multiply that on a yearly basis sad. Not to mention the endless hours of waiting at the hospital for dialysis, regular doctor visits, frequent nausea and fatigue plus i am a career Lady who works full time so managing both has been hectic but I thank God.

what's your story Emzybrown?
