Hello everyone!
Which bank would you suggest i use in applying for Form A currently? Kindly help a brother.
Thank you

Avoid Gtbank at all cost, I am stuck with them for over 5 weeks now. For your peace of mind you can try UBA

The best place to start is by doing online research. You mentioned that no one here seems interested in the school but that shouldn't deter you since they offer the specific course you are interested in. Else, you can check other schools to see if they offer the course and then proceed to apply.

With regards to POF, it's calculated by summing the following
1. Tuition Balance (Assuming you've paid a deposit via Form A or any other means)
2. Living allowance for the main applicant + dependents
The POF is calculated as thus - May 01-May 28. You can print your bank statement on May 29th (the UKVI uses the Oanda exchange rate but it's advisable to have excess sum in your account in case of exchange rate fluctuations)

If you can afford it, It's better to travel with your family, especially with the changing government policies, all we know is in the now and it's best to seize every opportunity.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your pursuit of a greener pasture.

Thank you for your detailed response, so am I to print the account statement for just 28-31 days or they require a statement showing longer duration.

Hello house, I need some clarifications please to enable us make a decision.
1. How affordable is living in Reading for a student with young dependents? I am considering University of Reading because they offer the specific course I want but I haven’t seen anyone going there.

2. From experience would it be advisable I apply with my family, or Is it better I apply first and my family later.

3. The 28 day money thing, is really confusing me. If for instance I deposit money on the 1st of may, when am I to submit my application?

Anyone with experience in the house please your input is needed. Thank you

Please how long did your Msc take to finish?
The program took me 2 years because I did it at my pace.
Someone here says he completed his own within a year which I think it's possible.

Goodmorning House, please would I need to evaluate both my bachelor's degree and Masters degree with WES for the EE? Or only the Masters can suffice?

2. Please does anyone know if an MSc from NOUN is recognized by the ECA?
Thank you in anticipation of your response.

Update to my Enquiry for those who graduated from NOUN.
WES evaluated my MSc as a Canadian equivalent of a Masters degree and I have received the soft copy.
And I did not need to physically visit NOUN to request for transcript nor did I pay anyone to facilitate. Every thing was done online.
Transcript was sent exactly 9 days after I paid online without any external intervention.

Yes you did. Thank you very much. One more thing please, what did you put for the recipient email address? And how long did it take to complete the whole process for yours?

Recipient email is not a compulsory field so I left it blank, as for how long it took me if you mean to open a WES account and complete the application then I'd say max an hour.
Regards

Hi Special guest,

Thanks for your response. It did help, I've made all the necessary payment on Remita, but I'm stuck at the part of the application where it's asking for office of recipient, address, institution's email address, and transcript label.
I've attached a screenshot of the page.

HI,
The destination address is WES, I copied the postal code etc from the International Transcript Request form, it's printed there.
As for the 'label' to be included I used my WES ref number.
Then upload remita payment receipt to the remita column which has a red asterisk and ignore bank teller which is not a compulsory field.
Hope I have answered your questions

Hello, I recently applied for transcript from NOUN though its post graduate but I'd share the process I went through with you.
On WES website I downloaded the international transcript request, filled it on my system, logged unto NOUN website, followed the instructions on the page for request for transcript which includes paying application fee on remita.
Click on start application on NOUN website, fill in your details, matric number year of graduation etc. Then snap a copy of your certificate, the remita receipt and the filled intl transcript request form which contains your WES ref number. Attached all in the appropriate place holders, upload them and submit your application.
An acknowledgment mail was sent to my email with my details.
They also provided a phone number and calling times.
I found the whole process easy and straight forward.

Question to the elders of this thread please, how does one join the telegram group? I am yet to find the link in previous pages I checked.

Highest degree is okay

There’s a tool on WES platform you can use to check your degree equivalency, maybe try that

This really helped, thank you so much.

@ OP there is no rule that states one must register in his state of origin. What the law says is that you either register in your place of residence or your place of work. Either way you have to pick a polling unit you can access easily on elections day. As you know vehicular movement is restricted during elections . I doubt an INEC staff will actually give you that wrong information but to address it contact the Inec citizens contact centre on 09050858629, 08180958715.

Family / Re: How Often Should A Wife Call Her Mother? by specialguest(f): 12:49pm On Sep 25, 2017
The duration of an hour - two is not the issue here I guess, the concern is the timing right? Maybe you can get your wife to call her mum before you get back from work so they discuss and conclude and she can be 'available' for you when you need her.
I used to talk with my mum a lot too after I got married so I guess it's common especially among 1st daughters and their momma. Now that mine is late na me and my mother in law o, once I am back from work, we will talk sotey one person's battery will run flat.
Take heart ehn!

Hahaha the magician part got me laughing really hard. I wonder where our mothers learnt those eyeing skills from.
My mum used to have those set of looks too that would pierce right through your heart and you find yourself wondering if the ground should just open and swallow you up. (God bless her Soul)
I have tried it several times with my two year old daughter when she is being naughty, instead of fear ehn, the thing is doing the opposite because she would look at me and start laughing or other times imitate what I am doing. Not like I wear any serious make up though lolz.
Op thankx for making me remember those good old days.

Goodevening, my 307 makes a squeaking noise at startup and stops around 3 mins after driving. It's a low pitch noise that comes from under the hood around the passenger side. please can someone recommend a good peugoet mechanic in Abuja. Thank you

Update:
I didn't get a response after my post so I tracked Ikenna and retrieved his phone number from a previous post he had made. Booked an appointment and had him diagnose my car.
Verdict:
He is really good and very thorough, found some errors after scanning which fixed. He saved me a couple of bucks trial n error mechanics would have collected.
Conclusion:
He didn't ask me to give a recommendation but I choose to anyway because I was impressed.
