Tolexander:I love this song Ede oyinbo kii se ti baba mi. Oyinbo mu tea, baba mi mu eko Seb'omi naa ni gbogbo wa jo n mu Aj'epola se die ... (Chorus) |
passionate88: Believe me... Some tomboys in my school are lesbos... Big time lesbosFact! Saifullah01: How does this tomboy ish works.... Is it that they r just psychologically/emotionally detatached from girly stuffs, or they have some physiological/hormonal manly traits. There r some of them I play basketball with, but it just amazes me how pretty most of them r and their choice of interactions. It's more of psychological. Tomboys find most girly stuff annoying and unnecessary. But levels dey sha. Some are so 'hardcore' that even when i see them i marvel - oversized trousers and shirt, no sense of fashion. Some fix nails, do make-up and have some elements of sassiness but no matter how hard they try to fit in, they still stand out. There are these ones who do not know when to draw the line between being 'razz' and 'tomboylike'. Tomboys having spent lot of time with guys, have a different mindset from 'girly girls'.-not all though |
mrham03: they are women, they roll with guys, they know our secrets, they make us predictable. U want more? And those things listed up there fit into your definition of bad? Lol @ they know our secrets. What are you scared of? It doesn't make any difference, you guys still know how to do your thing. |
mrham03: tomboys actually scare me. They are just bad.Tomboys are bad? Do you care to explain? |
I'm 5'8- not slim but i'm conscious of how i look so i work out. I'm short-sighted; i wear glasses. I love dancing I'm a tomboy-outgrowing it gradually. I have a dark sense of humour and a bad dose of conscience I play word games -scrabble- and i'm very good with words - pun, sarcasm, word play, punchlines. I sew clothes. I love colour purple I am not religious I speak my dialect fluently. |
Popcorn it is. |
Radiokilar: Ok but I need to confess guys this is wat happend to me oooooYou lack one of the basic skills in English - Writing. Is this how you talk? And you expect ladies not to 'foam'? Radiokilar: Why do Ladies like foaming english when guys stop them,in public places etc which most of them wouldn't even want to listen to you even becos ur english is not good *i don tire oooooo shey english na by force?English is not by force. |
satowind: The kind of tom boys that exist these days eh. Some even wear beta designers pass our average boys including me.Not all tomboys are muscular and not all muscular ladies are tomboy. I'm not muscular and i'm a tomboy. passionate88: With gladness in my heart... I prefer them tomboys to those milky baby girls... Tomboys rule for me ![]() |
YaddatManfa: 1. In every Area that I'll visit,Over 12 girls must Runs 4 me,in other to be their Fiancé...You are not handsome-not by any definition i know of, neither is your english. Ps: how old are you? |
aisha2: Just like we tell HIV positive clients the worst form of stigma is self stigma. Once you stigmatise your self then you will not be able to conquer stigma outside because everything people do will be interpreted by you as stigma but once you de- stigmatise yourself then stigma by others won't matter.Best advice so far. I think the OP and some posters up there need to see this. The stigma is in your head and everything people do to you will be interpreted as such. I decided not to comment when a poster up there made the thread about those who are single, stigmatised, and probably depressed. |
nwapastor: I understand you perfectly. I know you belong to a higher class/level but you are also welcome. Just let us into your world and that might trigger further comments from people of your type. We want to learn from you too. Welcome on board in advance.Higher class? On the contrary, i have a lot to learn from you. Why i talked about levels was because i'm single-not married and not dating but i'm not in the about-to-marry class. |
Do you have issues within yourself? Do you feel the urge to change? You know, many atimes we are caught up between who we wanna be and who the society wants us to be. As long as we are happy, the society can rest. I've been on low cut for a while now but when i started i had issues with my parents-my mum especially. When she realized that was what i wanted, she had no option that to let me be, she even got me a clipper. I mostly buy T-shirts and Polo cos i feel comfortable in them . My friends complain but that's who i am. Bottom line is do whatever makes you happy, you'll outgrow some of them. |
This is so heart-breaking, i'm short of words. May God grant you and the family the fortitude to bear the irreplacable loss. |
Tell them. There is no such thing as Nigerian accent! laudate: This must be a joke! We have so many different types of accents in Nigeria. Which one exactly, are they referring to? |
*checks thread again* I wanted to sign in here but with the comments,i'm not sure i fit in. I think single has levels sha. |

Olastep: If u ask me na who i go ask, d matter whey u see so, e tey wey e start....Huh? U were home throughout? benbuks: increase in weight. Now,that 's an achievement. ![]() |
daprince: Dude, please don't tell me you're a university student! With this kind of grammar, no wonder your lecturers were refusing to go back to the classrooms.Would you be kind enough to point out the mistakes sir? |
ASUU strike no doubt had negative effects on students but then again, it availed students the opportunity to do things which they wouldn't have been able to do if schools were in session. While all some did was play, eat and sleep during the strike , some saw it as an avenue to develop themselves. Wale, MTN project fame winner and the guy who won Davido's dance contest have ASUU to thank for their achievements. Given the fact that a white-collar job is not easy to come by in Nigeria, this skills might come in handy. What were you able to achieve during the 5-month + strike? |
