Power supply at my end is 18hours everyday. Ikeja Electric is really trying for us tbh. They restore it by 4pm and take it by 5am in the morning only to restore again by 7am and take it by 12pm.

The power supply they give us all through the night makes sleeping easy but the water coming out of the tap is hot enough to de-feather a chicken.

3 ingredient homemade flat bread.

Also called naan bread (Indian).
Can also be used as soft tortilla wrap.

Ingredients: self raising flour, plain sour yoghurt and water.

Can be brushed with garlic salt in olive oil for garlic naan or cooked plain for plain naan.

Eat with homemade Indian curry or as a breakfast wrap,

Growing up, my mom used to make us something like this with just Flour (not self raising) salt and water Roti or Unleavened Bread she called it. And we would have it with Fried fish for breakfast on Saturday mornings.

I can't wait for the whole thing to be over on Wednesday.

I became a literal Israelite this morning. I trekked a journey of about 3km in 1hr because I needed to be at the secretariat for audit this morning. As i'm typing this I'm laying in bed with my both legs in excruciating pains. This Lagos don dey hard day by day. Ingredients

Soft chicken - drumsticks
smoked paprika
ground white pepper
garlic powder
ground ginger
salt
ground black pepper
dried thyme
dried basil
oregano
all-purpose flour
cornstarch
buttermilk
onion powder



Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together buttermilk, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Add in chicken pieces. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for hours or overnight

Prepare the breading by combining the flour, cornstarch, powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, white pepper, paprika, ground ginger, thyme, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl. Mix it thoroughly.

Working one at a time, remove chicken pieces from buttermilk mixture. Shake it gently to remove the excess. Place it in the breading mix and coat thoroughly.


Place the breaded chicken into the oil. Fry 3 or 4 pieces at a time. Fry each piece for 14 minutes, turning each piece over about every 2 minutes, until golden-brown

Remove from the oil and place on paper towels. Let them rest for some minutes before serving.

The BRT bus dropped me at stadium na em I come start to dey trekk tell myself say I go see keke o, na I go see keke I dey talk till I reach Spar for Adeniran Ogunsanya mall. I first carry water from their fridge drink. I was so exhausted! Funny thing be say small traffic come dey sef even with the whole ban.
Why would you ban something without an alternative? All those people saying "yen,yen, yen, Nigerians are lazy and don't like trekking" will know what's up on Monday. There's a difference between exercising and mad's people walk. Na mad people waka I do today.
