Hello
Please can you assist someone not in the country. There is an error in my DOB.

What are the requirements .

smithoo:
Note: Before you attempt to link your NIN to your SIMs, confirm if your NIN is VALIDATED. With an INVALID NIN, even your network provider cannot help you.

You can check your NIN validation status by dialing *346#.

At ElsieCapital, we can assist with VALIDATION if your NIN is not VALIDATED.

Hello dear,

If necessary you can give water . See attached guideline from the NHS UK on water .

Linda2019:
my husband is scared of the idea of water his doctor friend said it worsens colic in baby and causes the baby to fall sick in the nearest future but I gave my first son water very well before he was 6months. I don't know why doctors keep saying water is dangerous for a baby that is not up to 6months

Good day .

I thought so too. But see the highlighted on the attachment .
deept:

@spiceymma

Can this be backed up with requirements for renewal on the gov.uk site?

It is only 28 days before 5 year anniversary for ilr I have seen this apply.

Travel / Re: Applying For FLR After Your Initial UK Spouse Visa (extension) by spiceymma: 2:04am On Jan 22, 2022
Thank you for the detailed explanation below.

I want to confirm . I read somewhere where they said if you have spent 30months in the Uk you can go ahead and make application for a renewal . Now i came into the Uk 26 /10/2019. From my calculations, 30months complete should be in April. So does it mean i can make my application in May ?

newbie715:

One of the mandatory requirements for flr is any one of :a valid passport, travel document or national identity card. And like I stated, typically you need 6 months validity to apply for a visa. I cannot categorically say it must be 6 months validity for flr hence the use of typically.

On the other hand, a review of the information she provided shows that her passport expires 26.06 and as she is eligible to apply for flr from 10.06, one could then argue that if 6 months validity isn't required and if she applies between 10.06 and 25.06 the passport is still valid as at application date. I think it's left for her to decide if she is comfortable with this.

Having said that, I think your statement that there will be no need to renew because the expiry date is too close to the renewal and the passport may not be ready is erroneous. The onus lies on the applicant to ensure all mandatory documents are included and valid.

Between now and June seems long enough to renew the passport, and if the passport application has been made and the passport is not ready, then that can be stated on the application. That's what I'd do though.

Cheers.

Thank you so much
Let me see how to go about renewing the passport then .

newbie715:

Happy New Year

1. You need to apply for a new passport, typically, you need 6 months validity in a passport in order to apply for a visa.

2. Not earlier than 28 days before 07.07.2022. So any day from 10.06.2022

Cheers

Gracias.

I got a letter from the UK Border Agency requesting for a bank account to refund the appeal money we paid since acc to them the initial card used in making payment is inactive. The appeal was allowed and the Home Office was asked to make a few award to us I want to ask has anyone been in dis situation and how long before you are asked to submit the passport for visa.

Have a nice day.

Goodevening everyone. My appeal was successful and we got the determination in March 2019. Till date I have not gotten any response from the home office pple. Upon our enquiries. I eventualy got a mail early may from the home office that they are yet to recieve the determination from the court. How is that possible when I have my own copy. I immediately contacted the tribunal and told them the information and they sent me one long mail like dis detailing when and the means the determination was sent to the home office. I scanned the mail and also forwarded them my own determination. They responded that it has been escalated and someone would contact me directly. Since that time I have been waiting. Any idea on what else I can do.

Hi everyone.

Please how long does it take for these people to acknowledge the appeal thing. Am yet to get a mail from them concerning my online appeal though I recieved a mail when I uploaded my supporting docs to the email they provided.

The wait is now getting to me. *sad face *

Thanks @Lexusgs430. It's really so so annoying. Any leads on how to go about it? Emails or p.o box number for us to write whilst the appeal is on? I would deeply appreciate.

Lexusgs430:

Apart from appealing, I think you need to escalate to anyone higher.
Possibly a letter to the home office, home office minister etc etc etc (copy all the copyables) (if such a word exists).....

Your case can be deemed as gross misconduct and negligence, on their part. Express your anger in the letter how incompetent the case worker was (you might get your appeal expedited and possibly small compensation).....

I tink the ECO are poorly trained. I was rejected cos they said my husband is not a british citizen. Now am I stupid to apply for a spousal visa wen my husband is not a citizen. Hmmm. His passport was there and birth cert too. It ws even amongst the documents they returned back to us. How the stupid person missed it, I don't know. Apparently the person did not check well. Also on the page 9 of my online application Form, I stated his status and also his passport number and all. My people that is how these pple rejected me ooo. And the worst of all is that I only have right of appeal. I cnt reapply aagain. I was angry initially bt wt do I do? Good thing is that I av appealed online and sent supporting docs to them via the email they provided, bt i hear it takes a while. Hmmm that is my story. I wish everyone success and I pray a competent ECO who has the sense to pay attention to details handles ur application .

Hi abubrkat, which one is it exactly? Is it the IELTS A1 u mean??.
abubarakat:
There is actually a new IELTS for spouse visa. It is different from the one people used to do in the past and easier.

The new one only tests your ability to communicate in English. It is done in pairs. You and another candidate. You both have a conversation and a short listening test. This was the test I did last June after I realized they stopped accepting the General test I did earlier.

KemBee86:
To God be the glory!!! I got my spousal visa today!!!

Where do I start from? I have been denied 3 visiting visa, all within 1 year in the past based on some flimsy excuses. So I gave up, I applied for spousal visa in August 2015 and in November I was denied based on 2 reasons 1. We submitted 3 months payslip and bank statements instead of 6 months. Secondly, we didn't put my hubby letter of employment nor letter from employee stating his salary etc.
so we decided to appeal and got a lawyer, the lawyer insisted we should reapply and add the extra documents that the ECO may not overturn the decision because we are submitting new documents blah blah.

So we reapplied first week in December, the lawyer collected about 1000 pounds, even though reapplying was so expensive and wasn't guaranteed we just had to do it.

I just want to tell everyone going through a refusal or denial not to give up, it will happen as far as you believe in God and your documents are consistent.
What will be will be!
For everyone waiting, God will answer you sooner than you expect. God bless you all!

So excited!!!!!
@thalula @blza, am so happy for us!
