Either moslem or jehovah witness. Probably a fake moslem, pls in which ever verse u quote, can u pls post the whole chapter. Make ur pastor dey decieve u with verses of the bible without allowing you to read the whole chapters. Seriously, if u don't believe in the bible, kindly keep it to urself and stop hammering it to our faces. We have better topics to read on NL

Hmmmm,what have i been missing.

Well, my 2 kobo. Lets forget about things that will help programmers in nigeria and internet enabled individuals. Lets look at things that will help the common man, the least of the least and the ignorant. The not well informed and the needy.

Who ever mentioned the antenatal app is a life saver and it has potential to reach worldwide.

Who said the traffic tracker and epayment solutions via recharge cards is an innovator. I would vote for that.

Pls,forget government budget monitoring craps. Seriously, thats not how they chow the money. And pls,can we forget social and bookmarking sites, they're now lame. I can't even advertise such ever.

So for me,if we can get data,i mean data that can help for the health stuff. Thats good and secondly the epayment stuff, that will be costly but i tell you,we can get sponsors for it,yes we can.

Programming › Re: Is Python Really Worth The Buzz And Hype It's Getting ? by spikesC(m): 12:36am On May 04, 2012
seun is still commiting the crime. The OP wants a specific example, not something generalised. I can say that PHP is better than python because it does what python stuggles to do,now that needs an explanation and few examples.

Now, PHP in its simplistic form is a language meant for beginners. New programmers who started with PHP mostly end up on the web part. It is very easy to pickup and has so many functions that performs almost everything. The problem with PHP is that, it is not static and doesn't follow a proper coding style. They accept external functions and classes without much review. Infact PHP is a does-it-work language. I wonder if the people adding those functions ever read the documentations, but on the other hand it might be good. There're so many functions that does the same thing and even more are been added. The PHP developers are die hard backward compatibility keepers. If they remove most of those functions, 80% of live websites will go offline. Secondly, there libraries, people say that they have so many classed that actually does the same thing. But what they don't know is that people have preferences. So many xml parsers abi, well some of them are more advanced that the others. I have a friend who uses regular expressions in all text searching instead of the normal string functions. These are all personal preferences.
To me, use what will get the job done on time, efficient, reliable and fast. I would never use PHP to develop enterprise desktop apps. It can do it but not suitable for it. So,for my fellow developers, go learn new languages and beef up your resumes.

To the guy that gave an example of python's print('Hello world')
PHP has echo 'Hello world';
Pls,which one is shorter

1. Curroption is everywhere, the differience is that we cannot hide our own and worst of all, we cannot stop it.

2. This JONA of a guy dey try but not as we expected. The jews where expecting a messiah that will take them to war. We expected a president that listens to his people.

3. The JONA of a guy is not fit to be a president. I would choose OBJ in all circumstances than JONA. We need someone who is very reactive and takes decisions.

4. That letter is not professional and mainly speaks of there expenses to track curroption in Nigeria. As a web guy,i know ads when i see one. That letter practically is asking JONA to sponsor them. Yes, the idiots need money. OBJ is not there again, now they want JONA but just don't know how to get it.

5. This is a fact, there're more looting, curroption and mass murder in JONA's regime. Politics is more profitable now, i have friends there. ANd the worst of it all is that, nothing is being done to curb it.

6. If the rumor that JONA is an illuminatist is true, then he definitely have a hand in the bombings. American's has done it, it is not a new thing.

7. My open comment to TI, stop telling us what we know already, tell us what we dont.... Every one in Nigeria knows that we are all (tagged) as curropt, thanks to you all who still sit with our head of states popping champaigne

sit down alone, buy a can coke, off your mobile network only internet access( to google)... Get a pen and paper and write down any topic that crosses your mind, even if its about immorality, Inspiration can come from any means. After getting like 50 topics....arrange them in niches...that is your categories..choose few that relate to each other and write indept inspiring articles on them. Thats ur blog.

For real web apps....sorry man, it comes from experience. Programming is about solving problems and the first step is knowing the problem. So u'll have to find that which is done, but not good, that u can provide a service/platform that offers it better. Example, the idea of developing www.infinitbin.com came when i got tired of the other freelancing websites cos of there ridiculous terms, payment methods and racism. Yes, racism. So i had to develope my own platform for other ditched freelancers like me with the stupid intention of paying the world...lol,well its working. Unique visitors are growing, more page views, less bounce rates and more hope. Just needs investors. Good luck with yours
