Theflint1: I wanna send my admission documents to schools in d USAWow, they require hard copies? are you sure? This is quite risky o Well, i would advise you ask this question on the USA student VISA section. They, who have done it, would confirm and recommend the best way they did. Parcels get lost a lotta times at Nipost. Valuables also get stolen. I would rather you use DHL or FedEx than Nipost. The cost is way worth it |
Theflint1: A beg house, somebody shud please help me with the process of getting a registered mail with NIPOST and also I would appreciate an info as to d average length of time it takes to send a documents via NIPOST and are there reports of missing documents? What do you need it for? Maybe, there would be better options |
sashacoleman: I was there this morning, for 4 hours, nothing! ive tracked soteeyyyy, I don tire to track, i'm so tired. why did I not just apply from Ikeja sha? sashacoleman: plus teleperfomance does not have a contact number? do you have a number I can reach them on. I live on the island, so I was there everyday this week. They were four of us waiting today, all of us applied on the same 3rd of July and nothing. I don't knw what going on. I was supposed to travel tomorrow on a work trip, I had to cancel and change my flight ticket because of this people.Sorry for the disappointments. I applied there too just because it was closer to me, even though i knew Ikeja was faster. I can't find their contact number on the website but they have a feedback form here: http://www.ge2ng.tpcontact.co.uk/feedback-complaints But if they told you at the office that it has not gotten to them, then i see no reason for you to contact them again. One other option, as you're really that anxious, you can contact the UKVI themselves. They would tell you if your application is still being processed or otherwise. Here's the Sheffield email address: VisaSheffield *at* homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk They also have a premium contact number, but their email response is quite fast |
sashacoleman: Day 17th. Nothing yet... This is not even funny anymore.errrm, this is ur day 16. Track the application online and check. If status is not updated, call teleperformance and ask whether ur package has arrived. If they cant disclose that information on the phone, go there yourself today and check. They have been having issues with their notification system and they specifically told me that even if i didn't get notified, i should check with them exactly after 15 working days |
bidibudi: @justwise baba, spikesC pls i need you on this one tooyes, you can confirm it if all the data is correct |
emmyvet: lol...I have been around shaa.Frontend, php, sql and vb.net |
emmyvet: Wow happy to see coal city rep!cool man. We dont see you around here? |
justwise: You can select the date of the day deposit the money. see my attachment....i understand, but my question is based on the requirement that you should print the one of the application date |
sassybee: @spikesC it was just as you said..just 5 question and we were just 2 tier 4 visa applicants at the VI center..it was quite fast, it was the biometrics part that took time.I applied on the 7th, no response yet. It's supposed to be out on monday but the public holidays will extend it to wednesday. You can be tracking it online though |
justwise: 1. No you don't.has it changed. i thought it was the application date |
i haven't actually seen any objection to the list or is it that the opposition accepts its the truth ![]() |
hmmmmmmmm, ok The OP, IrishKez, is not really single by choice. She lives in fear, imprisoned by herself and her religious doctrines, but the burning desire to engage in all odds of life are there as it is quite evident in her posts. Yes, she is single but not really because she wants to be, but because she is afraid. Though she just haven't found that person to trust, who would have the much needed patience to tolerate the kind of "out of touch" relationship they would have. In other words: No be today we dey see una kind. Guys just avoid una cos no one wants such chic drama ![]() |
justwise: I don't understand what you mean by business name registration, pls can you explain? An enterprise, sole ownership registered business. You can go through this to understand more: http://new.cac.gov.ng/home/ |
Finafina: Can u put me through...the thread is lengthy. Please I need all d help and assitance u cn give...nt forgetg dt I need Jesus too. ThanksThese are the questions you'll be asked. It's not much, just 3 minutes of your time spikesC: Name of your school? |
Finafina: Same thought too...I'm having my tb test tmrw and then I'm a bit scared about visa interview dunno y yet. Maybe because I ddnt do this myself. So I bet I have to research more.you don't have to be ![]() Just prep yourself on the questions i posted above. All they really wanna know is whether you actually know what and where you're going. Then, they might also ask your school addreses. That is, the main address and your campus address. you don't have to know the full addresses, just the cities and local area is enough. |
sashacoleman: ok, thank you. ![]() |
spikesC: Justwise, one quick question. |
sashacoleman: I also applied at VI, did you get any email or text message from them after you applied or you have just been tracking it online?naah, no notification. Just been tracking online. They sent sms notification 3 days after i applied but it was a system error @bato123 i submitted my application at VI so i track at teleperformance website |
dspy45: @spikesC, wishin u the best and pls what kinda questions whr u asked during d SKYPE interviewExactly as was posted up there; Name of your school? Name of your course? Why you chose the school? Why you chose UK? Why you chose the course? What's the benefit of the course to your career aspirations? Do you understand the questions you were asked? Sometimes they ask: What's your plan next after finishing the course? Do you know anyone in the UK? sashacoleman: Did you apply from Ikeja, VI or Abuja?VI They're an exact replacement for Lekki, it must be 15 working days ![]() realcom: That's lovely, I am yet to apply for visa in my case, I'm planning to leave naija 14th of September, we should try and catch up. Email me on ... .You got mail. Remove ur email address for privacy reasons |
Justwise, one quick question. As has been seen of the relevance of company registration and tax clearance in VISA applications, can business name registration suffice? I have a business registered as sole ownership, as i cannot register a company in such regard (though i would still upgrade in the near future). Yes, i would get my TIN, pay tax and get tax clearance when due. Business account is also been used. Now, can the above be used or must it be businesses registered as companies? In my opinion, it should, but am asking because of the inherent discrimination leveled against sole ownership businesses when applying for contracts from the government. |
realcom: Really you are? my Campus is in Canterbury, I'd be studying Computer Science MSc. Have you applied for visa yet? When do you plan on leaving Naija? And What Course?Yes, applied on the 7th of this month. Hopefully, my VISA would be out next week Tuesday. Departure date is August 20th. Computer Engineering B.Eng |
realcom: Thank you.so close. Am heading to greenwich, the campus at medway, kent ![]() |
publicenemy: I dont need you to feed me nothing, cos you would be dragging me down ur abyss of ignorance and conspiracy theories. Every news agency has a webste, whatever you hear on ther t.v stations will alwats appear on their website page.ehhyyaaa, so the links are no longer for you but for supposed LAME men. And then, you knew that news stations have websites, but you want people who watched it on TV to source for the links online and post for you. hmmm, so interesting. i keep wondering why you're so interested in the ignorance and manufactured theories |
obayaya: Anything but Russia getting directly involved. The Obama administration should have known this. No super power would ever get directly involved in such conflicts. There only point left is that russia supported the seperatist, as if that was news. And as if USA is not a known rebel supporter |
publicenemy: A cable reciever indeed.wow, so you know this but still want to be fed. You want a link to a Tv news? how interesting You can keep the "Fool" adjective to yourself |
publicenemy: so much accusation and counter accusation from everyone here without link to a single mainstream media. This one is out of touch with current affairs, so he now expects people to feed him instead of buying a cable reciever |
This is no news. I wonder why all these petty bloggers is making an issue out of it. Gobe was written and even released by another artiste. Davido bought the song afterwards, changed the tempo and part of the lyrics and released it. Buying songs is not a new thing. Songs are Intellectual properties, and therefore can be traded. Even at the back of albums, all songs are rightfully written the names of the writers, if the agreement depicts so. When you get popular, you seize to be a musician and turn into an entertainer. In a normal setting, an entertaining musician has a song writer, PR manager, producer, choreographer, costumier, agent, legal manager etc. And all these people also have their own support staff. That is why we keep saying that Nigerian Entertainment Industry has a very long way to go. |
Orunto: Uthman Dan Fodio was an alien, an intruder and a Sunni Arab to and in Nigeria. He was never a Nigerian. Nigeria belongs to Nigerians of 29% Hausa/Fulani; 21% Yoruba from Kebbi, the source of River Niger(spiritual river euphrate) to the coast; 18% Igbos(Ibos) from Taraba, the source of River Benue(spitual tigris) also to the coast.others representing 32% comprise Tivs, Idomas,Jucunds, Ijaws,Ibibios e.t.c. and does not include aliens and foreigners like arabs. So you see, when you take 29% Hausa/Fulani out of a 100%, the remaining 71% are still the majority to take democratic decision in Nigeria without fear of favour. The fear of the caliphate should not be the emotions of Nigerians afterall.Quite right, but what happens when decisions do not favor them? The massacre continues? |
sashacoleman: Please has anyone who applied from the VI office beginning of July collected their passport? You applied on 3rd. Your VISA should be out on Thursday or latest Friday |
The huge difference in religious fanaticism is enough to break us up. Nepotism has always been there. Since we started, non-Muslims has always been killed day in day out in the north. Any small misunderstanding, they carry up arms and kill non-Muslims, yet there is absolutely nothing ever been accomplished about it. I wonder why we're so blinded on that fact. Why don't we all go our own way to avoid all these killings. Religion is deeply entrenched in our politics, so IT WOULD NEVER WORKOUT. Sell ur properties and get the fck out of there ![]() |
sashacoleman: Actually not all student visas are processed in Abuja, VI/Lekki applications are processed in Sheffield. All PBS Visas are sent to Abuja. All Tier4 visas are processed in shefield |
softsparkyy: Ishsoph so you are married, you were deceiving me all these while abi?sugar pie. I'll always be here for you ok |
