Duh, piracy is a big problem in Nigeria that needs to be solved but piracy is not the cause of poor sales. Poor distribution and marketing is the root of it all. The larger the locations movies premier at a time, the bigger the revenues. You hype the movie, you release at the same time, and that gets you the maximum revenue as no one would want to miss it. Whether it sweet or not, sales has been made. This is product marketing 101, but Naija producers won't know that because they seem to be dull. Those talking about suing youtube seem to be infants on the internet ![]() |
bidibudi: @justwise baba, spikesC and my masters On point1. you can go for the TB test now. the earlier the better as you have to book via phone. 2. Yes 3. No. you must pay 3hours after you book your appointment, else the appointment will be cancelled 4. If the maintenance money is in your personal account, remove the birth certificate, else, swear an affidavit. But try and get a new birth certificate later for future purposes |

I got the opportunity to lay my hands on the internet and web design handout. It was a series of webpages from an old website that teach web designing. You can see the click here texts, the website address on every page. Infact to cut the whole story short, it was a simple CTRL + A, CTRL + C, CTRL + P. ![]() Most textbooks in the Nigerian Universities are ebooks found online, they will print it as is, without any edits, and put their passport at the back with their biography and claim they wrote the book. ![]() In most of the text books, you'll see watermarked images as the front image ![]() Infact, it was so weird that there was an exact textbook used in UNN and also used in ESUT but with differient back covers and differient authors ![]() All these so called textbooks are sold between 1500 and 3000. The students must buy it because the lecturer will give you a mark for it. Infact, the earlier you buy the higher the mark ![]() When you buy the textbook, you'll receive a serial number. You must write the serial number on assignment and quiz you write, else, it won't be marked ![]() |

perfect08: @spikesC Thank you for the prompt response. I think I'll go with your advice on that and take the risk. but I thought pbs tier 4 student Visa application processing takes just 5-10 working days. The 3 weeks you quoted is baffling me. Can they give me a special consideration and hasten the processing of my visa given the information on my CAS?officially, it takes 15 working days, but depending on how fast the application center is and the period you submitted, it can even go as low as 2 working days. I'll advise you submit at Abuja or Ikeja. They are fast in that order of preference |
perfect08: Good day to the gurus in the house, I came across this thread while searching for solution for my current challenge. I read through this thread and I really appreciate the info on this thread. You're still on schedule. You can still submit your application but should book an appointment after the date you collect the TB certificate. Now: If the doctor can guarantee you that the certificate will be out on that 15th, then you can book your appointment on the 16th. 3 weeks from that is 7th october, therefore you can travel on the 8th or 9th of October. But here is another problem. You are also not guaranteed of the TB test being negative, therefore if it turns out positive, you'll have to cancel the VISA application and ask for a refund |
bigfree: Lets get ready for a full-fledged war involving the west and pro-rebel forces.Nothing will happen. Apologies will be issued and in a few weeks, the matter will die out. That is politics for you when a super power is involved. Also, no western country can afford going to war right now. The economic crisis is everywhere |

Javanian: On which part?second part, java and c++ being wrong |
freshdude2: Of course, it's all so obvious. My question was merely rhetorical. I hope Jonathan doesn't buy into this BS though, the guy can't seem to differentiate between gold paint and gold. If I had to choose a non-ally I'd pick Russia over US and the West. But this is Jonathan we're talking about here.I think jonathan has been handling foreign interventions very well, since he came into office. He has threaded carefully and has never sided with anyone. He has been making trades and going into terms with all willing countries, and IMHO, to our advantage than any other country. |
emk4lif: Not a fan of the APC but still the same rehashed accusations with little adduced evidence to back it up, I still believe Boko Haram is more religious than political, Shekau doesn't care whether you're PDP or APC, as long as you don't practice his own version of Islam, to him, you're an enemy. BH should be treated as the pure criminals they are and crushed.Bokoharam kill muslims too. It is certainly political |
All things considered, Jonathan's regime is still a better option than the coalition of the Muslim extremists that is shaping up now with an aim to win next year's elections. With the option of 2 evils, the lesser evil is chosen. Nigerians beware oooo ![]() |
Javanian: There is nothing wrong with the Basic programming language as an introductory to programming in computer science.how, pls elaborate |

@planetshaker You'll be travelling to UK and Verve card do not work there. I'll advise you walk into your bank, get a mastercard or even VISA card and use it to make the payment. All those cards will be giving to you same day and would cost you between 600 and 1000 Naira |
planetshaker: Good day everyone, its interesting how peoples inquiries r attended to efficiently on this thread. Thanks to everyone who has kept this thread alive. I have a quick question.Yes you can. I think it is paga that integrated Verve |
