diamondsare4eva: @Spikec, do know you of any of the schools I can contact directly for sept 2014, that are still admitting international studentsalmost all the schools. Do your research and chose the schools you like, then contact them and ask if you can apply directly as UCAS has closed. They will all agree |
Chaze85: Pls explain furtherprint the oanda printout of the day you paid for your visa application |
diamondsare4eva: Please does anyone know which school admission is still on for Sept 2014 without going through UCAS pleasealmost all schools, however, you'll have to apply directly. just do ur research, then contact the schools u want |
Chaze85: Ok il try it,then how about this oanda conversion do i need to print it on the day I'm going to uk embassy to submit application or online application?or do i need to print it out after the 28days of bank statement?print oanda printout of your application date. that is the day you paid |
Fola10: Hi,No you cannot unless your company is a multi-national. Move the required funds into your personal bank account and use that |
Chaze85: Thank you,i calculated it at oanda thru buying bid and I'm short of £360,i know realize my mistake that i keep on computing thru selling.anyhow I'm planning to add it as payment of accomodation rather than paying for school fees because they might delay to give me new CAS,i dnt know which one is better or acceptable?Anyone is acceptable. I would prefer all the info to be in the CAS. You still have a lotta time and CAS doesn't take up to a week. Infact, all my CAS has always been out same day payment was confirmed. The little secret is that i always call them whenever i need something urgently instead of just mailing them. If the query requires an email communication, i will send the email and call them immediately, and they will confirm receipt of the email and attend to it immediately, WHILE AM STILL ON THE PHONE WITH THEM. Also pay 400 or 450 just incase. This period pounds can go upto 285 |
paradisewoods: Please bidibudi, i went to.oanda to check the rate , my problem is which rate should i follow? The ask bid or sell bid? Do i need to change the interchange rate of leave is at 0 %. ThanksLeave it as is. Logically, it is the buying bid of Nigerian Naira to British Pounds. Chaze85: Hello pls i have 5m and 20k naira in my account,my school fees is £12090 and i paid 990 for deposit while my maintenance is £7380 and i paid 240 deposit for accomodation, how much naira or pounds do i need more?cos my calculation is differentDo your calculation with this site. That is the official conversion they use http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/ It is always good to make extra deposits incase of those flunctuations. Currently, the buying bid is 280. I would advise you calculate yours with 285 and pay the school what ever is short of the amount in your bank account. You can pay it as more school fees deposit and ask them to give you a new CAS |
Chaze85: thank you so much, how about the tb test result?it will take how many days for the result to be out?thank you I highly appreciated all your answersThe next day. You're welcome ![]() |
Chaze85: how long will it take to process student visa teir4 in lagos?Maximum of 15 working days. Abuja and Ikeja are usually faster, in that order |

Chaze85: I don't understand your advice?I already paid d deposit if 990 for tuition and 240 for accomodation before I lodge money to the bank for 28days,so now ny problem is I'm sort of 30pounds in my bank statement after all d deduction I made for tutition and accomodationthe post wasnt meant for you, it has been updated. answer the questions above so we can give you accurate advise as ur calculation seems to be ambiguous |
justwise: How much is your total school fees?and where's the school located? inner or outside london? how many months is the course duration? |
jidecole23: good afternoon all. I will like the gurus in the house to shed more light on this; I paid my tuition last year but was refused visa on general ground so I deferred, this year i want to collect my money back as I ve changed my mind. but I am no longer in contact with the person I used her dorm account to make payment (I didn't ve dorm acct at that time). is it possible for d money to be refunded back directly into my own dorm account?tell the school that the dorm account is no longer functional and tell them u'll have to open another dorm account. The normal policy is that the amount must go back to the country of origin and sometimes to an account with the same name of origin. Though they can allow an account with the applicants name. Just talk with them first |

Chaze85: Hello guys pls I have a question1. 4th august, being friday, but print on monday. 2. Yes, you will have a problem. You can pay your school the extra £100 or more so as to offset it from the balance. Remember to ask for a new CAS or a reciept and submit with it, then tell them why in the additional section. 3. Yes, you can. Just book an appointment with the TB test center on the phone and get it done immediately. It takes just 2 days from the day you have an appointment. Chaze85: Pls I paid my skul a deposit of 990pounds plus deposit of 240 pounds for accomodation,is it deducted from my tuition fee and maintenance fund?Yes, it is deducted. I.e (Total tuition fees + Maintenance money) - All amount paid = Money you need to show |

itsmine: When shall humans learn to stop d blame game. Did the libyans or d entire arab world identify d west as a friend anytime in their history? My younger sis in tunisia divorced her hubby, my big sis in egypt left her matrimonial home of many decades, it bcame a fad in d arab world n I joined so as not to be left out. It turned out to b a great mistake for me n my other sis in syria &i began blaming a foe we all knew frm time immemorial. Even if d said enemy advised me to abandon my hubby of many years who had done nothing wrong save that he has enjoyed me for too long, don't I hav my own sense? I hope egypt won't hav cause to go d same path. - and of we ever make that decision of slicing nigeria due to unnecessary emotions &ego of present, we wouldn't hav reason to blame western powers for predictin & engineering our subsequent woes, cos we like blamin evryone except ourselves. The blame game is not the problem, but finding solutions to the already existing problem should be the main priority. But to solve a problem, you should first identify it and what keeps it thriving, so that you would make informed decisions when finding solutions. That being said: The problem that existed in Libya was not economic problems as the standard of living in that country was very high. Rather, it was greed and a thirst for power. The rich and influential people felt Ghadaffi has ruled for so long. They instigated the illiterate masses for a revolt with the reason that no one was born to rule. Ghadaffi being a military man would also not just step down, and democracy is not a way of culture for the arabs. The illiterate masses opted to the use of violent protests and looked towards war (still instigated by the rich and influential). Indeed because they were illiterates, they do not know the aftermath of war. Here comes our great and mighty USA, the police of the world. Instead of reaching for peace, they came to make sales, thereby destroying the land. Providing billions of arms to the illiterate masses to fight themselves. They supported the war through the provision of arms, intelligence and violence instigation. It is no news that Ghadaffi and the USA has a long hatred between themselves. It is no news that if you don't play the tune of the USA, they'll publicly make you suffer for it. If one do not know that international politics has a big effect on local politics, then one is a political illiterate. If one do not know that media can be used to instigate political violence, then one is an illiterate. With a substantial amount of money, you can start a war in any region. All you need is a source of arms, a not so dumb reason and a few paid illiterates to perpetrate the violence. Then you supply media with a warped up story That is why we ask people to get educated. War is business, and every country is getting into it. Just like oil, developed arms and ammunition must be sold, tested and rigorously used. And USA is selling their own. Whether it kills a father of 9 or an orphan is not their business. After all it was developed to kill. They just can't waste all those billions of dollars for a stockpile of ammunition to rot. Even stored arms are maintained with money. The market is where there is political tension, and the biggest users are the rebels. So, why would you back a government that cannot use her weapons on her citizens because of international law whilst the rebels can use any weapon of their choice. My people, get educated ![]() |
